I could count on one hand the number of long running manga I've read that didn't. Yona did better than most.

It's a great news ! Season 1 has been on my list forever but now i'm even more motivated because the manga seems to have a good ending and s2 is coming

That whole "redeem the bad guy and justify what he did and make you feel sorry for him" thing really turned me off and made me drop it. I'm sure there was a much better way to do it.
