No SSB yet. Goku and Vegeta cap out at SSG. You could introduce Kaioken with SSG, since SSG basically works as a god-ki base form.- Future Trunks arc is mostly the same. Mai can stay, but she is not the original DB Mai. Maybe her daughter or something. Goku and Vegeta unlock SSB here.- Tournament of Power stays mostly the same, except everyone gets a full year to train and bring the Earthlings up to speed. Yamcha is on the team instead of Roshi. Frieza is brought back from Hell and allowed to train because Whis mentions something about his race’s ability to become insanely strong in a very short amount of time.- Universe 6 Saiyans have stronger base forms than Universe 7 Saiyans, which explains why they catch up so fast once they hit SSJ2 or rage forms.

The only reason a Dragon Ball Super remake is likely happening is to better transition into the Moro arc and beyond. This would make it a 1:1 adaptation of the manga, effectively scrapping the old DBS anime and replacing it with a new DBS series that closely follows the manga for a new generation of viewers. This also will give Toyotaro time for new arcs since if they start the Moro arc now they'll easily catch up and won't give Toyotaro time, so they could avoid making fillers.
Toei will reveal that they raided Toriyama's house and found his final napkin scribbles and ideas and they're gonna adapt them into anime.

In the manga 70% of the ko are done by kefla (out of panel) and frost. Its shit. The anime gave the 2 best roshi episodes in decades. The training episodes are great. The krillin/18/roshi/piccolo episodes are great. They are all treated with great respect. Manga ToP is a joke overall. Only did some parts of the Jiren fight better.

Reality is as a piece of fiction where Toryama winged it with coming up with plot devices days before having to complete chapters, that could change over night. In fact, had Toriyama stopped at the Cell arc and only years later continued with the Buu arc, people would be crying "nooo why is the perfect Super Saiyan now called Super Saiyan 2?
