Farangis is the reason why this show didn't pick up.
What a garbage show, Arsland wins not because he improves and grows as a character, but because he has a lot of OP people working for him. Also everyone's plot armor was ridiculous, I was rooting for the bad guys at one point because the main characters at one point become untouchable. A waste of time.

>>284601588Sounds like the thing to do is to just ignore the 7 episode second season, which was weird anyway, and just pick up from where season 1 left off and maybe re-use some of the animation when those events get covered properly later. Or not. Its a mis-step, but we're in the era of things like Spice And Wolf getting a complete do-over to fix these sort of mistakes. Arslan can have the same thing done for just season 2.

Movies in long running franchises often don't cleanly fit into the timeline, either the movie not being reference by other material or movies re-doing the events of a previous season in whole or in part. Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood speed past the material of the original when it was made, and only slowed down again when it diverged. End of Evangelion replaces the last two episodes of the original series.Those are what immediately come to mind. There may be other examples of which I am unaware.
