>>284661602I feel like his Higurashi designs attempted to be "cartoonier" than usual compared to his other stuff. Like compare Hachikuji's proportions to Gou Rika's and Satoko's. That said, I agree 11 years old Rika/Satoko look fine... until you see them standing next to the other characters. Sometimes they're off-model and work well, when everyone is on-model their proportions look off compared to the rest of the cast.
