There are a lot of issues with it due to how rushed it is, like Lucius not receiving much characterization or even a proper backstory, and everyone except Asta having their Judgement Day preparation off-screened. The way the Diamond crew show up out of nowhere without any buildup also has to be addressed in some way. The first movie was set during the first timeskip so perhaps it would be possible to have another one set during the second timeskip, but even that wouldn't be enough to entirely fix the final arc. What the arc really needs is a bunch of new additions.
