I'm sorta getting tired of all the plots being explicitly written where like, the CIA or government KNOWS he's coming in to kill someone and has ordered a counter-hit on him, but they " can't do anything " overtly because they can't find a gun directly on his person. Any real scenario like this they'd just gun him down the second he boldly walked past the security cams and figure out a way to clean it up later.
