The real reason why an IntAss movie wouldn't work compared to Reze is its lack of emotional and cathartic moments. It's mostly pure hype and action, but it's missing the interpersonal elements of the Reze arc. All the emotional moments occur right after the IntAss arc ends. Not only that, but the ending of the IntAss arc is missing an emotional punch. It wouldn't be as satisfying to watch as Reze and certainly wouldn't make nearly as much money either. It wouldn't be a good idea to adapt it as a movie; it works a lot better as a TV anime.

So I'm going to be 100% honest with you.My problem with Chainsaw Man is that I can't remember 90% of what happens in it. I read part 1 in 2021 and four years later, I can't even remember six scenes that aren't adapted yet. When I'm reading Part 2 after six months of not doing so I literally can't remember what happened previously. I watched the recap recently and I only remembered half of the content, despite watching it as it aired. And now the same is happening to me with the Reze movie. I don't have this problem with any other shonen, so WHY does it happen with Chainsaw Man? And yes, I like the series, I'm not baiting

What pisses me off about IntAss potentially being a movie or only a 6-episode cour is that Mappa would immediately switch back to JJK if that were the case. We would have to wait AGAIN for JJK's next project to finish before we could move on to the Gun Devil + Control Devil final Movie/6-8 episode final season.
