I wonder what were the other, less peaceful, options that Rozemyne had suggested.

For some reason, I have misread Bonifatius as Bonifarius the whole novel until well into P5...
>>
i should finish it... stopped at the part they came back from the arensbach raid, before they printed the LNs for that.

I just finished Volume 3 of Part 3 and I don't know how much I want to continue. I really, really enjoyed reading Part 1, Part 2 was pretty good too, but I'm not sure how much I like the shift of the focus into all this nobility stuff. I don't dislike settings like that, but it's not what made me so interested in Bookworm. Looking through the archive a bit (while trying to dodge too many spoilers) I've seen the opinion that the noble society focus is where it really shines so I'm curious if anyone else had this similar experience but wound up liking it in the end after all.

she keeps churning out industry like you should be reading now. then the books end up useful in le academy and she gets targeted by royals, being the golden goose she is.
but she makes friends and has fun with servants so it's ok i guess.

I can't say if I had experience similar to you, as I had most enjoyment during the more merchant oriented parts of P1, but I concur with this opinion you've seen. I got truly hooked on reading this LN and all the side content on P3, and I particularly enjoyed the drip feed of world building as she gets more involved in the noble world.

You should!

I don't know, I started enjoying it more from P3 onwards. The whole stuff about rolling around in the dirt and figuring things out about bookmaking ran its course. I personally cared more about the world, which really only opens up after P2. It comes with great characters and interactions, which are the most enjoyable parts of the series for me.

i think i liked the printing press era the most, from signing up with benno to the first model completed.
second place is the deepest lore about how praying works.
that aside from the huge cast of fun characters.

I found the whole concept of their nobility and royalty really stupid and that most if not all of them were tyrants that didn't do shit and just enjoyed a comfy life by demanding from the peasants by threats/force without actually doing shit themselves. Like, what would the nobles do if all the peasants revolted? You can't just kill them all because nobles just refuse to work right? Why do the peasants NEED the nobles and permit things to stay the way they are? The rest of the story really started to flesh out why the world actually works that way, and how some things are better left unchanged even if you think you know better because of your preconciebed notions. Also Myne stays a hilarious, great MC the whole way. Honestly, for me, I wasn't really sold on her new life until a certain incident early into her new life really fucking hooked me and my interest just went up up up from there.

You genuinely sound like someone who's talking out of their ass and hasn't read the novel, not gonna lie.
>royalty really stupid and that most if not all of them were tyrants that didn't do shit
Who are we talking about? The old royals? We don't know what type of work they did, but from the nobles of Ehrenfest that Myne meets, most of them take their job at governing and improving their local economy seriously. Administrative jobs are jobs too. Crazy right?
>what would the nobles do if all the peasants revolted? You can't just kill them all
Yes, they can. Not only is are an army of peasants literally unable to do shit against archnoble knights, they also aren't necessary for the survival of the country. Nobles can survive without commoners, commoners cannot survive without nobles. The country would literally go under.

>an army of peasants [is] literally unable to do shit against archnoble knights
until haha pocket sand

Are you stupid? I am clearly stated that was my perspective going from the commoners arc into the noble society, and that the fleshing out of the world changed that as those questions were answered and I really liked that part. I, unlike you, am trying to avoid spoilers while trying to shill the series.

Karstedt deleted a forest with a single sword swing. Some retired grandpa exploded an entire band of criminals with a couple punches. Myne literally flooded an entire city. Pocket sand won't protect you from literal anime superpowers.

In my defense I literally did not read the second part of your post.

now now, he did have a buff on him

But reading is fun... there's also a bunch of mana related stuff relevant to society and how families are formed because of compatibility and stuff but I can't talk about that stuff or gods or foundations without spoilers, anon will just have to keep reading and see for himself
