So I just started watching Heartcatch and holy shit its like night and day compared to Idol. The enemies actually feel somewhat threatening and have actual depth. The fights aren't just 2 minutes long and they don't just win because they have to end the episode. It feels like the characters are actually growing as the show goes on unlike in Idol where only Meroron has had any kind of character growth. There isn't QUALITY all over the place. There are solo AND double transformation scenes. And the best part is no faggot shit (assuming for now). I thought the whole series would be like this because it's for little girls but Idol is shallow as shit compared to Heartcatch and I'm guessing most of old Precure as well.

I've just finished watching the Heartcatch movie. It went so fast I didn't even realize an hour has passed. I wish it had been a little longer but the balance between the SoL parts that built Oliver's character and the fight scenes was executed really well.
