I'll start,
Uma Musume should've been an ecchi battle harem. Every single Uma could’ve been a love interest, each with her own flashy racing-battle arc and "powers". The episodic structure could still work, with each girl getting her own arc that blends action, strategy, and emotional development.
The anime could’ve been legendary, and instead we got generic SoL/spokonslop.

Generic SoL? Lol, second season was anime of the year in Japan, and for a good reason for how good it was.
And the OVA's and the movie have been god tier sports action drama.
