I liked Sentai Red Isekai, but I'm gonna have to disagree with it being better than Tojima.
Ironically, they both kind of have that whole "power of autism" thing going on, but Tojima has a bit more going on, especially on the production side.
Especially considering Tojima is basically 24 episodes but still manages to look better than Sentai Red a lot of the time.

Isekai Sentai is the anime I had the most fun with and means a lot to me personally
But more objectively, Takopi is the best anime of the year, and it's not even close. That said, I have no desire to revist it any time soon

Mugen Gacha for mine. It was a slow burn but seeing him get revenge on Sasha in the final episode was easily the best moment of the year and made the whole show feel complete.

Well Sentai Red is a far more contemporary series that is created by a guy who likely watches currently airing toku with the items and tone being very Heisei. If you liked Sentai Red you'd probably enjoy modern toku, specifically stuff that started around 2010 and onwards.
Tojima is moreso a boomer reminiscing about Showa-era toku as framework for a martial arts manga, the OG Kamen Rider that should be its main inspiration is more similar to something like a police procedural or a horror series.

As an animeonly for Puniru it really surprised me, nearly everything in "really great" felt like AOTY material but Puniru was the show the emotionally touched me the most somehow despite being a suggestive kids' show.
Overall really good year, there really weren't any anime I regretted watching, the biggest issue was that so much stuff released to the point there were anime I was interested in that I couldn't start.
Next winter is similar, there's too much stuff I'm interested in or currently watching that I don't think I will be able to watch all, theres: Toujima, Sentenced to be a Hero, Yuusha no Kuzu, Gnosia, Digimon Beatbreak, Kaya-chan, Kamen Rider Zeztz, Gozyuger/Gavan, My Hero Academia Vigilante, Darwin Jihen, Arne no Jikenbo, Yoroiden Samurai Troopers, Jujutsu Kaisen and Fire Force. I don't know what to gut from my winter watch list.

Judging by the thread it seems that the most popular picks are HibiMeshi (which I just found out was written by the guy who did Akiba Maid War), Orb and Medalist, also Kamen Rider but that feels more like recency bias due to it being AOTS. Out of those I was only able to watch Kamen Rider which was great but I wouldn't consider AOTY, but I'm surprised by how much SOVL and passion the two toku-inspired anime this year had, I loved both it Sentai Red Isekai and rank those two about the same.
Hopefully I get time next year to watch the other 3 anime that seem to be AOTY.

Ansatsusha has a nice retro style, good production values, interesting characters. One of the main flaws is pacing. Its sloooow worldbuilding is consistent, but for tiktok ADHD types i guess their brains cannot resist it. Also MC is an assassin that has a conflict with killing people, which is a nice twist for an Isekai where 99% of MC just do as the plot dictates. I dunnop if this is an adaptation, if so, they could either adapt more material, or condense everything in 2 or even 4 episodes less.

I know you specified worldbuilding but if anything the pacing on the show was absurdly fast, the elf fell in love offscreen and from what I read in one of the threads they sped through a ton of content
