Having read ahead my biggest gripe with the series is how the characters don't really grow to be better friends than where they are now in the manga. Realistically they should have been lifetime friends by the point where the manga leaves off.Also, her and Toujima never get together or even interact much despite having the best dynamic in the show. They should have been made a couple or at least combat buddies just for the comedic value but it's very clear that Tackle is the writers pet and waifu.
