Honestly, I didn't think it was terrible, it just doesn't stand out in any aspect

Airi feels like an unnecessary fix, author should just not have been retaded and actually delivered, nobody was rooting for satoru and airi to be together it's something that works in the story but it has no impact.

Still to this day I cannot think of another anime that has such a nosedive in quality towards the end. If it was suddenly cancelled after 9 or 10 episodes for some reason, it would have been better than the ending we got.
