People thought the hidden guy was Madara Uchiha since he was talking about the sharingan, Itachi, and Sasuke, and the fact Madara was mentioned by the Kyuubi in the Tenchi Bridge arc. People still considered that Pain still could've been Minato, but resurrected and brainwashed since his eyes were spirals like Samsara. People still thought Tobi was alive because we haven't seen what he can do yet and there was the whole Obito debate. I guess from the looks of it, both Yondaime and Obito were brought back and brainwashed by Madara for whatever reason. There was also talk about Konan being Rin or Naruto's mother. Crazy stuff.
