I have been downloading and watching anime for over 20 years and have somehow never heard of this series before.

>>284714590It's weird how this anime was a thing yet I can't remember anything beyond the music theme when he fused with the bird.Like, you'd think with such setting it'll have a bunch of memorable episodes, but there's nothing to remember.I do remember OVA having a bit more surreal setting, but in the end it was just pretentious.
>>284714881the main episodes that always stuck in my mind are the one where he stole 'time' by stopping every clock in a town ran by a control freak, and the one where he 'stole' the last piece of art from a genius painter by rescuing the daughter he'd tattoo'd the painting onto from being sold at a slave auctionnot sure how you thought the movie was pretentious when it was basically the same plot as inception but with more imaginative imagery for the dream world sections
