I didn't mind the change of pace when it became a cooking manga for like three chapters straight, but it's starting to drag. If meth wanted this much plot he should've gone after the ancient elf or the gateway to the other world type shit, this whole arc is probably just a big nothingburger once it's over, whereas that stuff would've been worth the attention just for building up the setting, at least.
