The problem is that she's a way better character than Amane who's just incredibly fucking dull and generally has better chemistry with the male lead which would mean people would want to see them together. So now everything is thrown out of wack which leads into this whole wheel spinning bullshit where the author can safely tease a threesome without ever having to actually commit to doing anything.
