>Anime watchers claim this is a flawless and heartwarming ending and the perfect finale to Deku's story. They don't even mind the suit at all.
>Meanwhile manga readers claim this is one of the worst endings of all time and made up mean-spirited headcannons (Deku's working and McDonalds, He's been ghosted, he's being NTR by Bakugo) and say the suit is stupid.
Has there ever been a series with an ending this divisive?
>>
>>284728281
>mentally ill western readers project their schizophrenic cuck fetishes on the story
>normal people don’t
>>
>>284728281
manga readers are objectively more based than anime watchers and their thoughts on the sentiment should carry more weight
>>
>>284728281
I do really really mind the shitty suit.
It truly undermines deku’s growth , at least in the very underwealming and passive way he got it.
>>
>>284728281
are the anime watchers with us in this room right now?
>>
>>284728281
this shit's over already?

Americans being americans
>>
Nobody cares
>>
>>284728776
Koreans and Indians actually
>>
>>284728539
Thing is Hori wanted to end the series with a shot of Deku and his friends as adults with a "we will continue to reach out and help others" message which meant Deku had to be with them and the suit was the best thing he could think of.
>>
>>284728336
Also
>In Japan teachers are well-paid and highly respective while Americans view them as pathetic and same level as working at McDonalds.
>Americans can't comprehend the idea of superheroes helping others without hitting things and that might makes right.
>>
>>284729348
Then why was he sad and pathetic as a teacher and immediately latched to being a hero again when he got a handout?
>>
>>284729423
When was it shown he hated being a teacher? And you do realize he still teaches and is a hero on the side right?
>>
>>284729348
>while Americans view them as pathetic and same level as working at McDonalds.
have you seen the shit they teach in american schools? they are LOWER than McD wagies
>>
>>284729511
Exactly; Japan doesn't treat teachers like shit.
I bet if Deku went to work at an American school THEN things would be different.
>>
>>284729348
I hate american culture where they hate people for working jobs
>>
I just don't think he had enough experience to justify him being a teacher
>>
>>284728281
viewership has dwindled down to just the biggest fans. Same reason like Christian entertainment shit that sells no tickets always has the highest user scores on movie sites, nobody else watches
>>
>"Anime watchers" just say it's good because "it's just le good okay" and can't even elaborate on why it's good except some vague opinions
>Manga readers can actually point out why it's shit
>When they explain why it's shit they get hit with insults and get called all sorts of boogeyman.
nothing new here
>>
>>284728281
I haven't seen anyone say that the anime's ending was a 10/10 perfect ending. It's a decent enough end for the generic shounen that it was. If anything, it made clear the manga cuck fetishists were being Tumblrina levels of delusional and dramatic.
>>
>>284729348
>bro just be the salaryman
Someone post that comic please.
>>
Someone has yet to explain what's the difference, is like the Shingeki no Kyojin thing that simply added a few more scenes that change nothing.
>>
>>284732377
Still, the anime-watchers were MUCH less harsh as the manga readers.
>>
>>284732445
They added a shitty "where are they now?" segment
>>
>>284732445
>>284732558
Didn't EVERYONE hate SNK's ending?
>>
>>284732445
Basically that, yeah. They add a bit more visual information to elaborate of what everyone is doing. Especially adding a few pictures of Deku with his class having fun.
>>
>>284732544
The anime had a lot more breathing room to give everything. Making it feel a little less thrown together (Iida's not just a copypaste from another panel for example). Also it leaves a lot less room for tonal misinterpretations (like everyone assuming Deku is absolutely miserable in the manga).
>>
>>284729034
I'm ok with Deku suiting up at the end, but I do wish that he had been more involved in the development of the suit, instead of what feels like a repeat of the original setup, e.g. "Thou are pure of heart and lucky to have met the right people, here's a free ticket to being a hero (again)".
>>
Series suffered from Shigmaki(shiggimaru?) being the most uncompelling villain ever for such a long time and AfO was written to be a double digit iq slobbering retard who seemingly refused to win for some unknown reason other than being an idiot. Worst of all the two major sub villains in overhaul and destro had a lot more to say and much more interesting position in the world. The series would’ve probably benefitted from being a long running one and deku eventually having a rift with the hero system since that seems to be the biggest sticking point in his character arc but the ending is so unsatisfying and doesn’t address 99% of thing that hori established, its just hero vs demon king slop
>>
>>284728281
Deku rims my hairy boipussy every night. Xhe absolutely cleans it up. Who am I?
>>
>>284728281

Pretty insulting to imply /a/nons can read.

Valid af, transqueen.
>>
>>284728281
Of course anime onlies would lap up literal shit, it's like they all forgot about Deku's declaration at the very beginning of the series
>>
>>284728281
>Has there ever been a series with an ending this divisive?
Attack on Titan. Mangatards were mixed (though /a/ (/pol/) hated it), where as animeonlines loved it.

>>284728281
tbqh reading the manga chapter that was overblown. The detractors didn't think the protagonist acted confident enough about what he was doing even if he said he was...and that means teacher=mcdonald wagie? It reflects more on them than it does on the manga.
>>
>>284728281
>>Meanwhile manga readers
You are referring to people that don't read the manga at all
>>
>>284728281
Anime watchers are low iq normie. They don’t think deeply about anything because if they did they actually pick up the manga
>>
>>284728281
Anime watchers have sub room temp IQ

At the end of the day like the series itself MHA's ending is one of those "take it or leave it endings"
>Positives
-Managed to get the series message about "being a hero is about more than strength, but actually helping people even in the most simple ways" across perfectly fine.
-Despite how awkward it was set up, the final shot with Deku and his friends as adults and the "we will continue to reach out and help others" is uplifting enough to end the series.
>Negatives
-Certain things people wanted to get concluded *cough* Deku and Ochaco's relationship *cough* not being resolved thus creating a large chunk of backlash.
-You could tell Hori came up with the suit at the last second because of what he wanted for the ending shot.

There's always going to be a difference since it's considerably easier to emotionally manipulate viewers in anime thanks to music, voice acting etc. Manga has to rely a lot more on the writing actually being good to get an emotional response from the readers.

All Might not dying was a big mistake.

>>284728281
Why did bokuhero show a an interracial black couple and a tranny
How is this shit allowed in a fucking shonen manga

>Managed to get the series message about "being a hero is about more than strength, but actually helping people even in the most simple ways" across perfectly fine.
>loses his strength
>immediately stops being a hero and doesn't become one again until he gets a second pity power given to him by those with real power
lol
lmao
Great message.
>>
>>284740191
But Deku DID become a hero and realized being a teacher was the perfect way to help future generations even without OFA.
The suit was basically a reward from his friends.
>>
>>284728281
>implying
Literally the only people who hated the ending were the worst Herocucks in the whole universe - aka JILTED ex-Herocucks who LOVED My Cuckademia until it became bad optics to claim to love it, around the "school dancing" cringe arc.

Every single one of them sucked liters of kike semen during the actual arc that turned MHA into irredeemable subhuman shit (Yakuza/Kike arc) and swept the floor for Hori for free.

99% of them were beaners (spics) and they "moved on" to the likes of KnY and JJK.
>>
>>284728281
the final episode itself was always fine, the problem is the final arc

Japs lost the war.
Might makes right.
If you kill your enemies, you win.

I thought of completing the series but is this gonna be one of those "if you didn't like it, you just didn't understand and lack media literacy!" endings like AoT? Cos if it is, I don't think I will find the motivation to finish it. So sick of this crap.
>>
>>284729348
interesting how you retards simultaneously hold the "japan is a mysognistic capitalist shithole" and "they respect their teachers....aww!"
