Is Gundam the story of Bright and his misfortunes? Bright is one of the key characters in the main UC installments up through Hathaway. He's not a main character in most but he has a unique shaping in witnessing char, amuro, kamille, judeau, banagher, and finally Hathaway amongst others. He's witnessed the good and bad and has spoken to most of the key people throughout his life.
The core point of Bright's character is showing what happens when you're a mindless Feddie bootlicker; most of your friends die, your son dies, and society rots into a pure hellscape due to your actions. Fuck Bright.
>>284739351I think both sides are grey. It's fine to dislike bright, but mindlessly choosing a point finger side generally isn't the intention in UC
>>284739720Federation incompetence continuously leads to rise of even more evil totalitarian factions and endless death and destruction of colonies and earth while the feddie top brass only look out for their own. Char was right.

>>284741025>even more evil totalitarian factionsThe Zanscare Empire were the goodest good guys in UC who did nothing wrong. I'd join them in a heartbeat.
>>284741792I think he didn't think critically about each side
judeau had the right idea
>>284741792Kinda based desu.
>>284741792Katejina....
>>284743725Siding with them is simply common senseNotice how the protagonists never refute Katejina's positionUso can only incoherently yell "they bad we good muh guillotine" whenever pressed

>Steamrolling Mexico with a giant bike is ethical actuallyStatements of the utterly deranged
>>284746521This is the future that "bike-friendly" people want
>>284746521It's ethical because the people being flattened are evildoers complicit in the Federation's genocide, they stand against Queen Maria's noble vision for the world, and giant motorcycles are the coolest thing ever.
