They Live is funny for the super long fist fight that randomly happens in the middle of the film and lasts uncomfortably long.
Escape from New York is weirdly uneventful for the length and premise.
The Thing is a classic.
Dark Star is pretty lame, but its 'let there be light' thing at the end is great.
