Merry christmas! It's finally time to open and post your gifts!I hope that everyone has had a wonderful year!I've finished our Gift/card audit and have reached out to several people to get updates. we'll soon be following up with several of you that reached out to ask about some of your whitelist cards and their status!if you believe you've been grinched, or if there is anything we can help with, please reach out!
Opening mine! (I have family obligations tomorrow and will be gone all day) JS of AR Gotta say these are the most unique gifts I've gotten so far in the /a/ secret santa! No one's ever given me a tree before kek. It'll get planted soon tomorrow, don't worry!Onto the big gift, I love the Afro Gunso! He's so goofy looking I can't hate him, and the Aki print on his back is cute too, for a first time he's great. Keep working on those skills, anon I'm glad I got him. The card is really lovely too, I love the angel with the ghost girl and the frogs all resonating is cute. I'm glad you got into the show now as well, especially with the huge boom of new stuff coming out next year (A movie, a stage musical, and a new anime!? It's mad!), I look forward to seeing your reactions if we get threads. Thank you for the gifts, Anon. I'll cherish them. Merry Christmas!
Let's keep the drama in the last thread pls
>>284746106Damn, it's the Gunso that got me to actually watch the show back in the day. Very cute!
>>284745883I want to unwrap this santa
>>284745883Should have used the recent Tomoko panel where she's sat next to a gift with literal 4chan wrapping paper
>>284746462it will smell bad. Surstromming bad
>>284746590I have a hose in the yard
I sign up for the lowest tier every year.I get guilt tripped by getting 15 gifts every year.
>>284746590Why do people even say this? There's a whole chapter very early on about how Tomoko does not smell.
ND from NVMelli Kurisumasu and thanks for the two figures and the card! I know the Maomao is the cheaper fig but it’s still the one I’m more drawn to. There’s something weirdly heartwarming about a know-it-all daughter who is completely oblivious to how much she takes from her dad. The twist in their relationship at the end of the first season floored me in a way few shows ever have. The bocchi card is very endearing and was certainly more polished than the card I sent, I’ll make sure to never forget it the same way I’ll never forget my super bocc. though calling my 2014 newfag-ass a nostalgic oldfag for my list is crazy when I had four shows from this year and edgerunners on there lmaoI hope you are having a wonderful christmas (or at minimum, exchanging gifts with anons made your christmas better) and best of luck in the new year!
>>284746913Cute Bocchi
RR from CanadaWell well well... I didn't think much of the laser printed glass Look Back coaster at first till I flashed my phone for a picture, but after looking at the art in full, I am in awe and impressed. I really love it now. Also, thank you also for the card with my waifu in Chunners' outfit. Is that supposed to be her smile on her face? If so, bravo. I couldn't depict what the coaster was until I read your card desu. Thanks again and Merry Christmas
NT from CAYou should definitely check out Kaoru Hana even if you're not a mangofag. The animation was beautifully done and I thought the plot was cute. If you liked Dress up Darling, you would like that as well. I assumed you also watched s2 which sounds like you have already just assuming by what you wrote on the card. Thanks again and Merry Christmas dude
Opened my gift from JH from MN!I don't know how you managed to snag a copy of the lain artbook, SEALED mind you. I've actually had my eyes on this for several years but it is quite difficult to find. It feels like you probed my mind and pulled the perfect thing. I actually had no idea (or maybe I forgot) that there was a panty and stocking manga, so I'm very excited to give this a read later! The candies look intersesting and I've never heard of them, looking forward to trying the King Bing one the most. Rei will sit nicely on a shelf I have, and she will have company in the form of (different) Rei figures. I really like the shirt, but after trying it on I found that it is ever slightly too big, so I'm hoping it will shrink on first wash. If it doesn't that's okay though because I'll sometimes wear things a bit loose for a comfortable fit.I did read your letter, and please trust me when I say don't worry about it. I think the programmer socks would have been incredibly funny, and there are definitely people who would have loved to see them worn, but life happens and there's always next year. I appreciate you saying that you thought I had amazing taste, I think so as well but some anons disagree. Texhnolyze is downloaded already and ready to watch, but like you said, shit sucks when you get old and don't have as much time before. I will grab Black Lagoon likely in the coming months, I have a lot of other shows I plan to watch around the new year. As far as the card goes, it's fine. You're more than welcome to send me a card later in the year if you feel guilty about it or something but really it's daijoubu.Thank you so much for these amazing gifts and I hope to see you again in the future. Merry Christmas!
reposting so my santa can see his handy work on the thread.AC of INThank you for the fantastic keychain, it will definitely be used. I'm glad i was able ot request a character from your early days.get to watching card captors now!!!and thank you for the snacks.
Dear ME from SwedenI have opened my gifts (good thing I waited to open the package since not all of them were wrapped) and the variety is really cool. It makes me happy you tried a bunch of different things and put so much effort in for me. I haven't slept much tonight so right now my brain is a bit mushy. I think I will take a nap and come back with a real post with pictures so you can tell me more about the gifts.
AC from INGood to see you again and funny how the way things work. I actually sent you a card just last year. It was the "Out" card in which I thought was probably the most fun I had drawn last year. I really loved the keychains. Marin looks really sexy in those, especially the bikini one. Not sure which one will go in my bag or my car keys just yet though.
RL from WAWow you really spoiled me with all these treats. I will probably drink the Double Donut hot chocolate when I wake up later in the morning. Also, you drew my wife and the Fujimoto characters really well done. I'm a big fan of the line work. Also, funny enough, just last night, I was watching Bad Santa as it is a guilty pleasure of mine and one of my favorite Christmas movies so kino choice for doing a Bad Santa cover of the Fujimoto girls. I haven't gotten around to finishing the Japanese candies tho because I'm all sugar'd out at the moment lol. Merry Christmas my dude
>>284747695Also, I looked up the coordinates of where you found the rock you sent me. It looks like a really secluded area of a part of the state you live in so that's pretty cool. I'm glad Ruri no Houseki got you into that hobby. I was looking at the show and it seems like a really cute show. I'll be sure to check it out real soon. Idk I like Nagi because she has large breasts and dark hair with bangs which is my taste lol
aaaaa what the hell, anon sent me Danbo baloons!! how cool is that? I'm gonna blow them with helium and spread arround the world!
>>284747952and here are the giftsthank you JK from HK! and a Merry Christmas to you too! love the Miyabi keychain and Fuka and Yots too. and damn CHEERIOs! and NTR! and the wallscrolls are ammazing!Nadeko mug has already been coffee'd but she's getting tea'd and mulled'd wine'd today too. rough day for snek.
>>284748020and where the hell did you get those? that's so fucking cool. I didn't know you could just download it from somewhere.that is a very cool concept art of what could an ep of Hoshi no Samidare look like if it had an anime. maybe one day.thanks again my friend. love you!! Happy New Year!!
Guys, there is an esper participating in this event (or at least one), and it is MC of France. You were reading my mind when picking these Grande Scale FAGs, weren't you? Excellent choice. I'm looking forward to building these, and luckily I have some time until the end of the year. Just seeing them makes me want to rewatch their anime, too.I also like the Konoha figure a lot. It's nice to have something of her in her regular outfit rather than a bunny suit, even if it's a prize figure. The Shiro figure's cute, too. I'll make some space for her on my desk.I'll have to take a closer look at the artbook later, but I did find a fitting Christmas illustration in there. And Gothloli-sama's ass being in a bath/pool or coming out of it, more than once. Whew.Thank you for the gifts and I hope you're having a wonderful Christmas!
>>284746106Glad you liked it. I wish I had more time to do some cleaning up of the details, but I think it turned out alright all things considered. As for the trees, keep in mind that they might turn brown at some point over the first year, but that doesn't necessarily mean they're dead. They might not all make it, but that's why there's 3. I look forward to more Keroro content as well.Merry Christmas.
NC of CAI'm glad i got another based Kakashi enjoyer.i wanted to be just like him when i was a teenager. but he was not like me, frfr.it was unanimously agreed in my friend group that i was more like Jiraiya.gf agreed, future anime friends agreed, i agreed.Did a cosplay of Jiraiya and got a lot of compliments, even a comp'd meal at a sushi bar.you're the 3rd person that mentioned me having men on my list lol.KK4 is clever. You're the first mutual exchange anon i've had.Merry KURISMISU!
>>284748339I love kakashi
>>284748248>bakos art bookme jelly
>>284748339Glad the card arrived on time and safely !!I'm sure that if we met irl we would be good friends. Merry Christmas my man !
>>284748603>awake at this timeare you in the r/a/dio thread?
>>284748615Nah I always sleep late, wfh is a blessing. I'm also unpacking my gifts.
>>284748248I’m glad you liked them! And I indeed am a telepath, just don’t tell anyone okay?I wish you a very wonderful Christmas as well!
>>284748020Glad you liked it, anon! And very relieved that everything arrived safely. >>284748051>and where the hell did you get those?I found a set of storyboards on Yahoo Auctions. According to the description this was used in the production of it.>if it had an animeAnon... https://anidb.net/anime/17150Have a great new year!
>>284748500>>284748719Oh, one more thing. Speaking of Shirobako, I am craving donuts now, but can't get any today. And it made the ED song get stuck in my head.https://youtu.be/Inr_PQfzp8E?list=RDInr_PQfzp8E>>284748826>Anon...He is pretending it doesn't exist because it's trash, is my guess.
>>284748898Oh, I almost forgot. You BETTER learn how to play Mahjong now that you’re done with cards (not necessarily today since it’s Christmas). I’ll be watching you…
>>284736193Oh wow you did not hang around, still I’m happy you enjoy everything! I was worried about you having the figures and badges but I’m glad you didn’t! I loved the style of the badges and anything recounting scenes I gravitate towards. The matching figures looked super cute and I’m glad you like them, please do take a photo! I’d love to see them altogether.I’m incredibly happy you don’t already have the pins, that was a lucky find in the moment. Please do use them! As for the extras, I couldn’t find anything for a A place further than the Universe so settled on Pingu, he is from the uk! Also beloved in Japan. The sushi aardman sheep as well, please use! I’m happy you enjoyed everything, have a great day and Boxing Day as well!
>>284735870Hi anon. Good morning, and merry Christmas. Now this is the part where I should say "I'm glad you liked the gift" but instead I will say "Thanks for reading that massive essay that I sent to you". The fact that you actually sat down and decided to read all of that could be considered a Christmas gift. Thank you. Also, about Gurren Lagann. I've watched the recap movies but not the anime (don't ask me why, it's complicated) so let's make that my first new year's mission: Watch the damn anime once and for all. And of course I have NOT forgotten about the Thank You card that I still owe you. Please don't change your address. And be happy. I'm sorry about the KINO card, I just. I just had to do it. Please understand.
>>284748718im not wfh but an insomniac.post gifts!also i think you got my Ippo. GZ on my first free hand, no reference drawing for the Grinch. I tried to give the illusion of the hat flying off his head. i attempted to also give the idea that the mouth guard was punched right out of the Grinch's mouth.did you get that impression?
>>284749012I did not forget.
>>284723964>Were any of the cards any goodThat's a very great question. And since a really nice anon gifted me a rubber mat and card sleeves, I guess I have the perfect excuse to try the cards that you sent to me in a real duel. Next year I'll tell you how things went. Please don't send me dead coobies.
JH of OKMERRY CHRISTMAS!!!THANK FOR SPOILING ME SO MUCH THIS CHRISTMAS!! I love the bottle topper Lum! Thank you for getting it. Thank you for the Ruri and Nagi plushies, I love how comfy Ruri Rocks and its lovely art style. Lastly the Lum charcuterie board I FREAKING LOVE IT!!! How did you paint it?? Did you make the board? Thank you for the petty card, thanks for the all the recs I will try to watch Keroro. I hope you had a good year this 2025 and that next year is even better :). You tried something new this year and I love it. What did you do the previous years? Who is your wife and why? Also I will never abandon my Lum!Thank (you) making this a great Christmas!t. BH
Got this fromZM from IrelandLove all of it, very great. I can't believe it fits in the 50-75$ range. I'm sure you're way over. Not pictured are three full, handwritten pages. I read all of them ofc, but I can't reply to all of it. But I'm sure we'll meet in the snw threads.
>>284748826there is no Lucifer and Biscuit Hammer animeI wish there was but it's just not that timeline.
>>284749361That's why I usually don't phone post, will post more/better when I'm on a laptop.
AT from FinlandGreat figure selection, Pop Up Parade alway looks surprisingly nice. Yoko's design is iconic and the pose is great too. Problem with this figure is that you can't have her boobs and butt facing you at the same time. It's quite the dilemma.Merry Christmas dude
PD of GermanyAfter reading your card prematurely, I had a pretty good idea of what to expect. Hanekawa was a great pick! We're usually more of a coffee people, but I can't drink nearly as much nowadays, so this is a good chance to get used to drinking more tea. The biscuits will go nicely with that, should be right up my alley.>>284749483Merry Christmas to you too, ended up posting while I was writing this.
>>284749483Space for new figures is a big issue. Yoko deserves a nice spot though.
>>284749500Funny coincidence. Very cute Hanekawa, her early design was just peak.We don't drink a lot of tea in Germany but that one is a local speciality. I suggest adding sugar and just a tiny bit of milk.Stay comfy.
VV from FranceHoly shit I would've happily waited years for this, it's absolutely fantastic - even stands up by itself so will be front and center on my display shelf! . It really is high quality, you are incredibly skilled. I didn't expect to get my own fluffy Nanachi and Christmas is savedI was pretty happy with just the treats to be honest, the Ferrero Rochers are already long gone It sounds like you may have had a busy/ tough year, please don't put yourself down and take care of yourself - though selfishly I am still very glad that you went ahead with SS this time, and it even arrived just in time!I would highly recommend Gash Bell if you get the time to read through it, both the character designs and story are great. I hope you've been having a great day and that it will carry on until 2026 and beyond. Thanks again anon!
>>284749734Very impressive.
>>284734527I'm glad you like it! and that they arrived in one piece Rukawa's hair took a little beating but the metal is soft enough that you can gently bend it back into place.I've seen the brilliant cards you've sent other anons so will I certainly won't say no! Hope you are having a great Christmas
>>284749734fuck, that's good
Time to post my card and my gift. First, the card from ARP, from ES.We see each other again, man. Sorry for not answering until now, but I wanted to wait until Christmas.Thank you for the Koishi drawing. She is, truly, a cutie patootie. Don't worry about the manga. I am just happy you could participate this year (and from what I have been gauging, you have sent a shit load of cards).Yes, I like Touhou. I truly got into it last year, some time after signing up for my first secret s/a/nta, hence the lack of it in my last wish list. I had played some of the games and had browsed /jp/ before but I didn't really understand most of its story. Then I started watching Komeiji Koishi's Heart-Throbbing Adventure, then got into the doujin scene, be it music, manga, and oh God, Cookie... it has been quite the discovery for me, and a meaningful one at that.I have played the main games 6 to 10 and 20. So no SA KEK. I am not a gamer, really, so I still play casually and only sometimes. I did get to the last few seconds of Kanako from MoF on normal to then lose to her, and haven't managed to get that far again. Sorry for the purists, but I believe it's one of the few series quite literally designed for everyone to enjoy it in their own way.Apart from that, I am interested in the two cards happening in the same universe, but can't imagine how would Koishi and Yuri interact with each other. I don't see them becoming good friends. It would be better if I were in both of their universes. I would like that. I listened to the songs, too. The first one I knew already, the second one, the one from IOSYS I didn't but was fun, like all IOSYS songs are.Anyway, I hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Maybe we will see each other next year too.
>>284749361Merry Christmas anon, I'm glad you like it.Did the paper on the Makima pillow come off during transit? It came wrapped perfectly in that brown bag and I thought to myself "oh great, I don't need to wrap this" but then I opened it anyway to make sure it was the right thing and that it wasn't damaged (which was the case) so I ended up needing to wrap it anyway and then ran out of paper, hence the terrible job I did.
I can tell my anon was disappointed.I am sudoku-ing my stomach open
>>284750100same, it's owari da
And now, for the gift.Another Koishi! Lol. Thank you for the figurine, anon. She is now beside me, guarding my desk, and I will treasure her. Koishi is an important character for me a way, so I appreciate having her with me.Thank you for your card, too. Nice seeing Shimeji and Majime, and, of course, Eren, who kept moving forward until all his anons were gifted. Thank you for all the suggestions. I HAVE read Urasawa LOL. I read all of Monster, and have read all of Pluto save for the last few chapters (don't ask me why, even I am baffled to this day). Started 20th Century Boys but didn't finish it. I may try Billy Bat now you've mentioned it, so thank you for the recommendation.About your Cookie-related question: no, it's not Cookie Run, which I just discovered exists. It's a... subculture born within the fiery realms of NND due to a Touhou voice drama released in the platform in 2013, more or less. Long story extremely short, and I know this is gonna confuse you, a gay porn meme Japanese subculture latched into the very poorly done voice drama and spawned a series of references of this voice drama, which in turn inspired several other dramas, all "based" on Touhou". It has since become a huge egregore with dozens of characters voiced by dozens of girls which have been subjected to worship but also doxxing, death threats, endless trolling. Nevertheless, it has also been the cradle for hundreds upon hundreds of videos using those characters that go from 3 minute-long over-the-top meme video to 24-episode-long existentialist series, MAD videos (including hundreds of covers of Hirasawa Susumu's songs), a few Vtubers and quite the long list of controversies. You can probably see I am quite invested by it, but anyway, many do not like Cookie or outright hate it so it's a difficult topic. I hope the explanation didn't bore you and I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, anon!!!
>>284745883I want tomoko gf
>>284749734Handmade bros... How do we even compete. Can you guys please stop sending such awesome gifts and make things harder for others.
Merry Christmas Morning everyone!Thank you so much for the gift(s) ID of CA! I certainly wasn't expecting this much being put in the lowest bracket but I guess I should know by now that I'm gonna get spoiled. I don't mind that you weren't able to make your handmade gift, I understand how hard it is to make a plushie myself, but I appreciate the sentiment regardless. Also, I hope you enjoy Ichi the Witch! It's pretty silly but really heartfelt. Osamu Nishi's stuff all kinda captures the silly fun energy I love in anime and manga. Have a wonderful holiday and I hope I'll see you again next year!
>>284750170This is great, I love her goofy face
>my gift still hasn't arrivedDamn, E M. from FI, I am sorry. I hope it does soon, tomorrow, today, even. Sadly the tracking only shows me it is "on its way", so I don't know how much more it will take.
>>284750631It sure will not be delivered during Christmas anon. Now your anon will jump in and say "It is ok" "I did not want a Christmas gift on Christmas anyway" or "At least I am not being grinched and that is all that matters" and try to make you feel good. But do not be fooled, he is severely disappointed in you.
>>284749967Ohh, well it stayed wrapped, but I had a good laugh because it was wrapped properly on the top and just brown paper on the bottom. Posted this picture last thread as well. Even had my brother open the box in case anything was visible.
>>284747468Those koala treats are the shit, you lucky man. Now I want some.>>284749734>you are incredibly skilledYou can say that again, that looks REAL good.
>>284749959Heyyy. Thanks for posting my card anon, and I'm very glad to see that you're here once again. Don't worry, I already imagined that you'd wait until the 25th to post everything. And boy I hope that I get you again as a card anon next year because I really need to explain what kind of adventures the cutie patootie and the traumatized alien hunter are having together. And finally, I hope you're having a wonderful Christmas time with your family, your loved ones, and your patootie GF. See you next year!
Cutest card ever from MH of UK, thank you so much!I haven't actually seen or read all of T:RC so you've motivated me to restart, will be the first series I begin in the new year!Sailor Moon definitely gets more complicated than it had any reason to be. Somewhat unpopular but I think the series gets worse the more it gets away from monster of the week and towards its space aristocracy plot in which all the side characters are written out. Hotaru's sudden babification, and even more sudden multi-stage debabification and semireincarnation confused me the first time too. They could have done something much cooler, but that being said part of SM's charm is the absurd goofiness in its storytelling. And at least she's a cute babu.I had a really bad first impression of Chibiusa my first way through, but I quickly warmed up to her and think her hate isn't justified too.I'd recommend checking out the anime at least, but there's no reason to commit to watching every season. With the right expectations its a very fun series to watch too!Your snowy November comfy camping sounds perfect and I'm so glad to hear you were inspired to get >>>/out/. Have you had the chance to watch S2 yet? I've enjoyed every season, but the first one is still far away the best. Ena is a great character and I love how she's slowly convinced into participating just through osmosis.Luckily avoided the Kyoto food bandits while I was there! I will absolutely take you up on the recommendation and watch it soon.Thank you for the incredibly adorable card and detailed and immersive letter!! I feel spoiled by just how in depth you went into the series on my wishlist! Merry Christmas, /a/non, and I hope you have a wonderful new year!I'm very sorry I took so long to post your card, and I hope all of that is coherent enough because I haven't slept and I'm barely functioning
>>284750878>Even had my brother open the box in case anything was visible. That's really funny.
PC from Canada or Hong KongI liked your present a lot, the penguindrum scarf is very cool and your tippy is very roundI also appreciate what I assume to be an attempt at Anchovyhopefully you can find the time to finish GuP before the final film releases
TofuofFLI am in awe of your gift and the sheer effort apparent in everything! From the stickers, to the wrapping, to the effort put into the card and felt... I'm in love!!!! The felt Suika is just so damn clean and neat. If I saw this at a doujin convention, I'd buy it in an instant, it's that good! The Hibiki card too!! That's so creative! I've never seen a card like that before with the combination of translucent material. It's just such a pretty thing to keep on my bookshelf! And the ornament!!! The snow on the inside is just so cute!! It's already christmas but I'm gonna be putting her on my tree!!Anon!!! Thank you sooo much!!!!! Merry Christmas!!!
>>284750170soul
>>284749734That's worth money. Unironically I'd probably pay at least $100 usd for that if I saw that at comiket or something. At least. That's like an instant, I'd buy it, at $100. If it was $200, I'd have to circle around the hall for a bit before eventually paying for it.
>>284746106wtf I want trees in the mail. How can I signup for the secret s/a/nta tree exchange next year???
MS from PAWell done on the huge ass eyebrows of Mugi, it clicked immediately. Mio would be my favorite still, but other than her I would go for Yui. Love that goofball. It's pretty okay to navigate Japan without being fluent in Japanese. Just learn the standard please, thank you, thanks for the meal, etc and you're fine. Google translate and a smile on your face also helps! What I would recommend for doing in the Netherlands depends on how long you'll be staying here and what kind of person you are. If I were you, I'd skip Amsterdam for the most part and go to places like Utrecht, Amersfoort or Zwolle. If you want some actual tips, hit me up on foliantier@hotmail.com.Thank you for the cool card, hear from you soon and Merry Christmas!
Wew fucking ladThanks to PA from RO for the gift and to two anons who got me the cards, coming from CA and FII’m stunned how much Romanian snacks I now have to get through but I appreciate all the “Super Interesting” things that came too, fucking amazing secret s/a/nta this year, merry Christmas anons.
MR from IN, thank you very much for the little Rei plush and the Kanbaru figure. Hope you have a very merry Christmas and a happy new year!
>>284751791Lmao anon sent some brake pads and a rotor across the worldPlease elaborate
>>284751894I wish someone sent me new rotors...
>>284751791Nigga what's with the car parts
Dear JK of Finland, Thank you so much for the presents. I feel like you've gone above and beyond with how neatly everything was put in the box and with the amount of gifts. Did you 3d print the Holo coaster yourself? It's very cute! The chocolates are very good and I'm looking forward to trying the tea. Your drawing of Nanachi is very endearing. I'll be sure to try Toji no Miko. And I'll send you something back but it may not be for a while yet, I'm quite busy lately. Thank you so much for the figurine, book, and plushie!Merry Christmas and a happy new year!
MB from GermanyThe Christmas spirits (you) have blessed me with my first woodburn creation. I like that you took the “horny is okay” as a challenge or something. Horny, but still tastefull. Although the Dutch unfortunately don’t have a team on GuP. (We got fucking wrecked by you guys haha).I really like the Finnish as well, apart from the Oarai team of course.Sora no wato looks nice as well, I’ll most certainly give it a watch. Give me more girls doing military stuff! Is it Ryuko on the back of the keychain by the way?Anyway, Frohe Weihnachten, Fijne Kerst und Ficken in der Küche!
>>284751791Glad you liked the gifts, like I mentioned in the card there's a couple things that are lost to the ether and are still in transit but I'll be back home in January and will probably send them in the second half of the month, assuming they make their way over here. It's nothing major but still just a head's up.
TM from CAJust how many characters can you mush onto one card so well. Good lord anon. They all look amazing and very clever Christmas trees.Funny thing is, the K-On school now works as a museum, café, community centre with music classes, daycare and so on. It’s really cool you went to the OnePiece statues, I didn’t even know they did a thing with that, although it’s not much of a surprise considering how big it is there.Merry Christmas anon!
ARP from SpainThank you so much for your card! I loved reading it, so much that it made my eyes all watery. Your cards are very amusing, this is a very good use of your autism anon. I went back and hunted down the other card related to mine and I had a blast reading that one too, but I haven't seen any in my timeline still, maybe I really am alone in this universe . Also cool that you remember my card from all those years back. The day of the blackout was one of the best days I had in years, I felt free for a little while I wish it lasted longer. I feel like were all stuck in this together, but hope this next year works out better for you. Merry Christmas and don't forget to have fun.
>>284739691Daaamn, that's a bummer. How come all your cards got lost ?
DMD from Germany.Thank you for the gifts! How was the trip in Japan? I'm planning on swinging by there next year as well so if there's something you particularly liked I'd love to hear what it was so I can steal the idea.Haven't had the chance to yet but I'm really curious to flip through the UY artbook, not really familiar with how these anime ones are like since I tend to mostly focus on manga. The Akihabara card is honestly just lovely on its own too but I'm looking forward to the remaining missive too. If you haven't sent it yet though, would you mind if I gave you an alternative address for it? I'll send a mail to the organizers if that's ok with you. It's not a big deal otherwise but chances are it will have to wait to be opened for probably a couple months if you send it to this oneThe blue candies have been opened and are currently in the process of being enjoyed, looking forward to the other food items as well.Thank you again and merry christmas!>>284739691AP here saying just in case but I've had cards show up as late as March in previous years so if it's just because they haven't been posted it's possible that they're still in transit. Though if you're sending something after the holidays nonetheless please refer to the spoiler too orz
I sent my gift at the beginning of December and it still hasn't arrived to my anon. I can't even blame Canada Post this time, it's been stuck in a USPS facility for like 2 weeks now. I hope it's not being held up by customs...
>>284752154 Also, dear RR from Portugal, thank you for the card! Your drawing of Holo is cute!I've watched a friend play through 999, was very fun. I have rain world but have yet to play it, so will check that out maybe sometime soon. Planescape also looks like fun!Merry Christmas and a happy new year!
APN of BrazilThank you for the Dragon Bone card! It doesn't come across in the picture but it's got a holographic pattern on it. Might give the 3DS game a try just so I can utilize it in some way since it can read the QR codes on them. I've been tempted to get the model kits myself, but as I've always seen them while doing shopping for others I pass to keep the boxes from getting too big. I haven't started Bubuki Buranki yet but I have definite plans to watch it now. Hope your Christmas is going well!Preemptively in case any tier police show up, this was an extra that came with a card that was very nicely wrapped.
>>284752506He was just late and is lying
JH of NVI got your gift! Thanks for these choice waifu selections. The drawing is cute. Merry Christmas!
SH of MOIt seems there were a lot of mirror matches year, huh? This is my first time swapping gifts with my recipient. I'm glad my gift from back then still brings you joy and hopefully this year's does too.I love the sparkly Cure Dream card, using the metallic marker for the yellow accents was a great idea. Good to know you liked how batshit Milky Holmes is. Out of all the sweets you could've chosen to make, it was surprising to see you went with the infamously difficult macarons. I love lemon flavored things and they tasted great. When I first opened the box, I thought it was one of those paper puppets, then I saw all the gears attached to it. What a cool concept! I'm curious how the Kokoro one would've looked but this was a perfect gif to go with instead. The speed and motion of the mechanism works really well for it! I think a lot of people don't even realize it's from a show and think it's just some set of dancing girls from a music video or something, but at least they've gotten a foothold in some way instead of being abandoned to time, and now I have a physical version of their legacy.
DC of IL, first off, thank you for the gifts! I'll hook that lanyard right into my keychain and put everything else to good use. Second, what the fuck, dude. What the fuck is this package. It's so big. I'm afraid to open it. What have you done.
>>284752817Look at her go. Thank you and Merry Christmas!
>>284752846Fucking cute!
Merry Christmas ya filthy weebs
>>284752833A LIFE-SIZED POCHITA? Dude, where did you even find this? I didn't know they existed. Thank you so much, this is incredible. I'm finishing up the snacks you gave me and drinking your hot cocoa, but once again you've spoiled me completely.
>>284752846Cool gift, are there tutorials etc on how to design such mechanisms?
>>284752361>but I haven't seen any in my timeline stillWe share a timeline, I've found 7 cards from it so far. I think your Saya might have nearly wiped out humanity in 2034. She really should cut back on those cookies
>>284752896And of course I gave him some friends. Can't forget your card, of course:It hasn't been a great year, but it is a great christmas! You mentioned an attached picture, but I don't see one in the box. I'm glad the cologne helped you out in the con. Paired with a shower, you were among the top 1% of congoers, I'm sure.I spoke about CITY and PSG S2 in my card, but they both hit it out of the park. Imaishi in particular recaptured the magic of the original and made it seem effortless.Ikuhara can be hit or miss, but Utena is probably his best. I'm glad you liked Revue Starlight, it looked interesting from what I saw but I bounced off it pretty hard. I'm getting a lot of your lore this year. Somehow it's fitting.Glad you liked usuzume no hate as much as I hoped. It feels like a spiritual successor to YKK but with more of a shounen/BLAMe edge to it.As always, I'm in your care. Merry Christmas!
AP from IL your gift made it on time and it is absolutely amazing, thank you so much. I know I didn't mention anything about figures in my wishlist, but I do collect them so the Pokaan figure is a perfect fit.I'm really happy you liked Saint Tail, for a kids show it ended up being way better than I thought it would be going into it. The card you made is really fun to play with, how did you come up with the idea?I haven't heard of either show you recommended, so I'll have to give them a watch before the new year. Thank you so much /a/non and have a merry Christmas.
>>284750170I'm really glad you like it.I am relieved it made it to you in one piece, my big worry was a piece breaking off in transit. Thanks for the explanation on what Cookie is, very informative. Making Koishi gave me desire to do more stuff with sculpey again, prior to making her there it had been years since I had done something like that.I hope the rest of your Christmas is well and good and of course, have a Happy New Year.
>>284753238When you pull on the tab the cards flip over revealing more Saint Tail art. Really amazing card design.
>>284752154I'm glad everything made it to you safely and that you like it! I did print the coaster myself, I also "designed" and modeled it myself which I haven't done before, so it took me a few days overall.I'm not going to say no if you want to send me something, but you really don't have to.Cute cat btw, merry Christmas!
>>284745883DS of VAThanks for the lovely drawings of Ruri and Phos! It may or may not be a coincidence that these two series my favorite as I have a bit of that rock autism. I indeed have read all 108 chapters of Ichikawa's wild ride. The fact that the last JP chapter was released to coincide with that comet makes me think that she's playing some sort of 4D chess and that the PS5 was merely all part of her master plan.Dorohedoro does look interesting and I've never heard of a manga series with an official soundtrack before. I'll be sure to give it a try. Thanks again for the card and I'll be sure to send a postcard!
>>284753300Adorable
Christm/a/s has come and so has Santa.TG of VA. I swear you must have a camera on me because I was going to buy a mousepad this weekend but decided against it; she will be keeping me company at work. Softgirl Cirno is supercute and I welcome her into the fold of my evergrowing shrine to best 2hu and will be in my very professional Teams background with my lunchbox from many years ago.And hot damn! I've never built an honest-to-goodness gunpla before, just some little Ride Armor kits years ago. But this Dreizehn is sick! Don't think I told you it was the coolest one (aside from being piloted by best girl)? But I've already ordered some nippers and look forward to putting this beast together before I go back to work. A project is exactly what I needed right now. I'll send a picture of him and Towa-kun once I finish him up, if you don't mind. It's always a pleasure, dude. I hope that you and yours can have the merriest of Christma/s/es and a better and better New Year!
Thanks to AC of IN for the awesome gift.I love the Maser Beam Tank, I've actually wanted one for a while but hadn't got around to looking for one yet. The Gundam set is super cool too. I love kits with cool gimmick parts and lots of moving pieces, and this one has a lot. The new nippers were also very necessary. I LOVE the keychain! Anything of my waifu is the best to receive since official merch is virtually nonexistent.Your card was also great and I love that it was two pieces. It makes it easy to display your super cute drawing.Godzilla vs. Destoroyah is easily in the top 5 if not top 3 Godzilla movies objectively speaking. So good taste there. I will take a moment to shill the animated Godzilla trilogy (Planet of the Monsters) since it's one of my favorites that doesn't get much love. If you can get over the animation style, it's actually a pretty good set of movies and the Mothra twins are super cute. For Yu-Gi-OH! I would definitely recommend watching GX and 5D's. Both are really good and 5D's is unironically the peak of the series despite the memes. The series afterwards are okay, but aren't really worth it unless you're really into it. Also Dark Side of Dimensions is a really cool movie if you haven't seen that. Strike Witches has some ecchi to it, but it's more yuri-bait in my opinion than actual yuri. There's not really any explicit romance just some playful groping and lots of fan service. Sanya and Eila are just really good friends who sometimes hold hands! Thanks again for everything, and the chocolate date balls were very good!
>>284751894Oh they’re from my dad but man if some /o/non sent me car parts I’d add that to the wish list in a heartbeat
Allow me to explain my thought process when getting this gift:A wrapped package that is decidedly rubbery and plastic.A manila envelope that says open first on it with a letter inside saying that I "care instructions for her are in the next envelope" and that she "will keep me warm in the months to come".C of NY I sincerely thought you sent me a blow-up doll.Instead! I have been blessed with this lovely Cirno-themed quilt and art piece! Quilt Anon this is of the highest quality: A Queen-size with an 8-color gradient, lore-accurate spell card representation, cozy underside, and very breathable! You don't need Ol' Billy to sell these to people. I wanted some bedding as a gift to myself this year, but I think this is perfect! TMI to follow if you want to skip: Sincerely, it's been a rough holiday season and getting something so heartfelt is both physically and emotionally comforting. One question, would you recommend washing it in a delicates bag?Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I tried to capture it as best as I could in my picture, but you may want to attach your own picture because you should be proud of it.I wish you a very very Merry Christm/a/s and the widest of New Years!
And as a follow-up, everyone (except myself) are tucked in. Merry Christm/a/s everyone!
>>284752250Was worried it didn't arrive in time, handed it off on the last day that supposedly guaranteed delivery in time for Christmas. Good job recognising ryuko from behind. Glad you like the Finnish as well, cute bunch. And you're actually in time to join the yearly Sora no woto rewatch, it's always the first Saturday in January, 03.01 this time around.
>>284753840Yess! I'm glad you enjoyed the kit. I knew you like Canon so I needed to share that with you. Please send me the pictures!
>>284751388I'm so happy you like everything anon, it was a lot of fun to make! The nice boat idea just got stuck in my head and I couldn't stop thinking about it so I was really happy with how it turned out. Hope your Christmas is going well (and is actually cold unlike down here) and you have a wonderful New Year!!
>>284745883TM of CA (1/2)Hi Anon! First off, I wanted to say that the envelope you made is freaking amazing. The wax seal, stickers, and Kongo's dome stamps are really nice touches. I really like the Bondrewd-shaped card, it's a very creative design. The fact that you managed to fit everything you wanted to say in one shot, in marker means you are a braver soul that I. You're right that the Buddhism aspect of HnK is where the series really stands out. Ichikawa's usage of it to tell such a compelling story is just amazing. The doodles of Tenchou, Serufu, and maid Mokocchi are really cute too. I've not see To You, The Immortal actually and if you think it's a good rec based on my list, I'm more than happy to give it a watch. I have a store that sells JP food near me but I usually get the candies so I look forward to trying the savory things you sent.
Thank you to RS of IA and Merry Christmas! The metal black lagoon cards are neat, I'll have to display them in some fancy way. I love the card art, SSR is so special to me. As for the yuru camp light box, I'm double impressed because there was not a laser mark anywhere near this thing, anon cut all this out manually. It looks great on the wall, I'm thrilled to have it. The glue separated from the wood on the bottom left of the paper during shipping. Is there a way to open this up?No i don't really enjoy fishing, and haven't seen your rec but i remember is making a splash when it aired. May give it a tryThanks again and Merry Christmas, i hope you have a good one!
>>284754146(2/2)The good news is that the glass made it in one piece! Knowing the postal service's rep, it's practically a Christmas miracle! The painting you did on it is actually really amazing. The coloring and the symbolism in the pebbles and flower makes this one the best things I've gotten in /ss/. You're correct that I do have a rock collection and I've actually been looking for a way to display some of my tumbled pieces so this gift was absolutely perfect. Thanks again for the card and wonderful gift Anon! Look forward to that postcard!
>>284754189Of no no no i fucked up the spoilers. I hate phone posting but shan't fix it
People are sending stained glass and priceless objets d'art and it makes me afraid I am not qualified for this event
>>284752682Glad you liked it! I think the Dragon card was a first release bonus or something, it was also bundled with the other models (see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3p8bljQNblw around 1:30). A shame that only Leo and Shark were released along Dragon from the good guys, feels like this line was doomed from day one. The kit is a nice build but got a ton of stickers. The best thing about it is that it scales well with 1/12 figures (bad old pic related) if you ever feel like going for it and find one at a reasonable price.Merry Christmas!
>>284752833>>284752896>>284753186I'm glad you liked it! I felt this was the natural evolution of gifts so it had to be done. I believe he is somewhat pose-able and fully wield-able. Do with that as you wish in your daily life. And yes, I found the "attached" photo unattached on the floor after I shipped your gift. I sent it in a follow-up card the next day via regular post so maybe it'll arrive in the coming days. I've gotten compliments on the cologne whenever I felt important enough to wear it.Ruri rocks is next on my list and I'm glad we both got to see Imaishi not screw up new PSG too. Please wait warmly as my withered hands assemble that beautiful machine. Thank you again and Merry kurisum/a/su!
>>284749734Hey, glad it reached you in time and glad you like it. Sorry for whining so much on the "card", I'll send a real card with proper cheers later.Right now she smells like sheep, but the wool should take scents pretty good if you want to make her smell good for a more authentic experience. I left the arms soft on purpose if you want to play around with her pose. Actually I thought late that I could have put an aluminium wire in there so she's actually poseable. Damnit. The hat is removable by the way.
>>284754189Holy shit that is a gorgeous piece of wood art. Massive props to your anon.
Maybe one day my Santa will post my gift as well
AD of Mexico, this is SW of NYThank you for the wonderful Kaguya Sama themed card! After being stuck with no progress for a while in its transit journey it unexpectedly got to me on christmas eve for an on time arrival. It's a Christmas miracle! Cute character drawings.>watched the first 2 seasonsYou should definitely check out season 3, it adapts my favorite arc in the manga. The movie is also quite good. I hope you are having an excellent Christmas!
>>284754794whoops forgot initials spoilers
>>284752817Oh those poor macarons ;.; they were much prettier before postal services. Good that they were still edible, I should've used a less delicate icing recipe and clamshell packaging. Lessons learned there. If you ever feel like trying to make them yourself they weren't quite as imtimidating as I had thought and lemon was definetely the best flavor option. That little whimsical Kiruminzoo automaton was really so much fun to design. It was something I had been wanting to try for a while but needed the proper motivation for. I'm thinking of making the rest of the cast now. Also, your gift to me was adorable and impressively made. I'm getting my pictures together to post now. It did make me wonder if you're perhaps a seagull anon? If you happen to be at momocon this year you should wander around the WonFes area I might have the other kiruminzoo characters ready at our booth that I'd give ya to complete the set.>>284753163Not that I know of outside of generic mech e stuff, just gotta feel it out based on what the motion needs to be. I used a 1.5 gear module but could've gone smaller.
>>284752266I'm glad he annotated the spiral hat, lest people mistake it for ... something else.>>284752846Damn, that's sick
I added some Final Fantasy monsters to the family christmas tree. I couldn't use them all but u think the few I added accent it well.
>>284753964Cool Cirno blanket! I'm jelly.
>>284749313Merry Christmas, BH!Thank you for the kind words for the gifts, I am glad you enjoyed them. The board I did myself, I tried out this thing called scorch paint, which is basically just a paint that burns when hit with a heat gun. So it's basically a hack for wood burning something like this. I am really glad you enjoyed it. This was my first time doing a handcrafted gift and I wanted it to be good. My wife is Aki Hinata from Keroro, I love her very much! I'm glad we were able to make your Christmas even better! Have a great day and a Happy New Year!
>>284754794>todays battle: (you) winDamn that's incredibly clever
RH of OH, this is SW of NYAbsolutely phenomenal set of gifts! I can't stress enough how much I enjoyed opening all of them. Definitely above and beyond for 25/handmade. I really appreciate that you incorporated the interests I mentioned at the end section of my list. I'll be sure to play all the pieces in the Katawa Shoujo piano book and make good use of the Spirited Away record (a good choice, because the only Ghibli related record I previously had is Ghibli Jazz). Very cute handmade Frieren and Mimic, I think I'll put them on my desk. Nice Anya plush as well. I like the variety of snacks included, good stuff to munch on all day. Thank you so much for all of this, I hope you are having a truly wonderful Christmas!Second post incoming for card/close-ups
>>284755368The board came out great! Thank for everything and Merry Christmas!
>>284755442Yeah, I thought it was quite a good addition when I saw it
>>284753964I’m so glad you like it! And you can wash it in a bag if you choose to it would help keep it safe. I also had a blast placing all the attack pieces and made a stamp for them. And here’s the quilt with someone on a ladder holding it up. And I always send them incase the shipping company decides to play football with the box it’s safe and sound. Also the canvas in there matches the quilt.
MH of CTThank you so much for the cute noël! Glad to hear I won your heart over with my favorites list, hopefully we can make the pilgrimage to Cuenca one day. Make sure to get your calvados ready for the SnW stream soon!I hope you have a great Christmas!
>>284754010Rewatch? Tell me more...
>>284755721Good craftsmanship on the clay, always nice to see a nice handmade creation. Great drawings on the card, both Lum and Memcho are looking cute. As you said, OnK did get more popular than I expected, but a good series, both anime and manga. I'm glad to hear you got into Ghibli/Satoshi Kon, there are plenty more good movies from both.>fat idiot getting with the girlhahaGoing to put on the vinyl record now and eat some of the snacks while I listen. Thank you again and Merry Christmas! I will be seeing you in upcoming threads and future secret s/a/nta events.P.S. I plan on sending a thank you card
>>284756802gay
kind of at a loss for words here, JL of WIAlways appreciate it when an anon tries to hit several things at once like this, so there's a lot of good stuff here. I really should start listing my favorite 2hus since I don't typically get any anons who care to ask, but you managed to pick a good one! even if I haven't gotten around to playing her game yet. Really a fan of the movic touhou tape, I'll probably pick some up for myself. Cute idiot on the card. Unfortunately I did miss out on the collage because I was dumb but shouganai. Anyway, the watch is insane. I tried to get a photo that showed off the inlays a bit better, but it was kind of hard to avoid the glare. By far, and likely will forever be, the coolest thing I have ever received. Took longer than I would admit to figure out the crown but the movement works fine. I haven't worn any of my watches in years, but maybe I'll have to start taking this one out on special autistic occasions. How are you making the faces? It's really great work and I hope you never give up on making watches. The printed box is nice too, did you model it yourself?
>>284756634We get together to watch all of the show in one evening while drinking calvados, a brandy based on apples from northern France, which has a meaningful connection to the show. Also don't use the toilet after the show starts, it will be obvious why. There is a clear sign from when on you can use the toilet again. Otherwise just keep your eyes open for the SnW threads starting Saturday morning, January the third. I keep forgetting the details, but the thread will provide.
>>284757092Damn, nice.
>>284749734SOUL
One day I'll actually make something cool for my anon. At least I've gotten to the point where I can comfortably spoil them
>>284757092Custom Chris watchDamn I wish i could get one of Hibiki!
>>284746913Hate to break it to you anon but 2014 was about 12 years ago. You’re only a newfag in the classical sense that anyone here after 2008 is a newfag. I’m glad you liked your card and your wee lil Bocchi ornament. If ever I step my ornament game up, you’ll be receiving another one. Cheers and merry Christmas!
FUCK I MISSED THE SIGN UPIS IT TOO LATE?
>>284757092Finally. Something of value out of the state of wisconsin.
I was wondering why this year's cards were so horribly late for me (cards sent by me). I discovered that choosing express shipping routes stuff through a different facility than cheap mail and that facility has a million angry reviews on Google
>>284758209No, you're actually almost 10 months early, you're good.
>>284758209Post your address ITT and I'll send you a card
>>284753889>ACglad you liked it! I figured the maser would be a great addition to pose next to your godzilla figures! the raider gundam is a nice easier set for beginners since the pieces are a bit larger. I think you'll like it a lot though because it has a lot of moving pieces and gimmicks you can pose it with.merch of Lucifer was basically non-existent, but I was able to find some good art to have that keychain custom made.glad you liked it! I actually haven't seen the animated godzilla trilogy yet surprisingly so I'll have to add it to my backlog along with gx and 5Ds!hope you had a Merry Christmas!
>>284746774They're anime-only retards.

>>284747518>ACglad you liked the keychain!I will push up Card captors on my backlog!I need to get around to watching sailor moon too.

>>284747599glad to see you again as well! happy to see you liked the keychains too, had a hard time choosing what to make so I ended just doing both of them lol. hope you have a Merry Christmas!!
John the anon from Nc Man thank you so much for everything. When I posted your card on monday I hadn't put two and two together and realized that John G from Nc was probably John the Anon because you signed the card as santa, and the return address on the box was diffrent than your address.I should have realized that it was the ups store address haha.If you ask me to I'll repost the card so you don't have to go hunting for it.Again thank you so much for everything you're lying April is one of my favorites and I was really sad to see it gone. Like you thought the how to draw manga isn't the same ones that got nicked but I think this one's better the spine is a lot more sturdier and the instructions are a little more clearer so thank you so much. Was Overlord one of your favorites?I love getting manga and I love the Rock you sent. I did a little bit of research and I think it might be Limestone with little Coral/ alge fossils in it. source: https://negril.com/forum/showthread.php/3631-White-stones-with-red-spots You said you found this in a McDonald's parking lot?I will throw this in my next tumbling batch and see how it turns out.Again thank you so much for everything the Final Fantasy bestiary was really cool I think that was my favorite thing I got this year.Merry Christmas John and I hope you like what I got you. Evan from ut
>>284754146>jagarikothose things are amazing. I'm jealous.
Dear MS from Poland,Merry Christmas and thank you very much for the presents! You've totally blown my expectations out of the water. I'm happy you approve of my taste. If I'm reading this correctly, where are the recommendations? I tried tapping it with an NFC app (I have an iPhone) and OH MY FUCKING GOD THIS IS AMAZING. IT LIGHTS UP!!! The illustration of Fujino and Kyoumoto (how did he get away with these names?) is adorable. I own Sayonara Eri physically, but I've only read Look Back digitally. Indeed, the movie adaptation was phenomenal. I look forward to rereading it physically soon.I can't believe you got your hands on an Acchi Kocchi DVD! Luckily, I've got a reader for optical media, so I can't wait to rip it and watch it on my pyuta (it's been a coooouple years since I last watched it, but it means a lot to me, as it was my gateway anime). The mouse pad is so kawaii I can hear her singing that part of the OP!Oh dear, you've sent me so much candy! I'm quite slow at eating chocolate, so it'll keep me and my family fed for a while!I sincerely hope my gift arrives soon. Unfortunately, I don't think it's as incredible as yours, but I still hope you like it. Once again, THANK YOU and I wish you a Happy New Year once that comes around! Hope to see you in the r/a/dio threads!
I realised today that the post office in ||Bulgaria|| is closed on the 26th as well, I can get my cards on the 29th at the earliest. I apologise for telling anons I will be posting their cards on the 26th, you will have to wait a few days more.

>>284751598Yui is a sweetheart dork, good pick! I plan to be visiting a friend in Zevenbergen if you know where that is, really have no idea what to see or do while I'm there. I plan to stay for around 2 weeks. I'll reach out to your email shortly after the holiday today. I hope you liked the Mr Popo. I realized I had some stickers laying around so I figured why not try being funny with them on some of the cards. I'm glad you liked the card, Merry Christmas!
>>284756214I’m glad you got it, I cut it a little closer than I would have liked getting it out. Merry Christmas!

eurobros, if our santas were too busy to post our gifts and cards until now, we should be clear to post them on their behalf right? It is getting late and christmas is almost over
>>284757092Really glad you like it! The dial process looks something like this:-Create the artwork in Inkscape, print on transparency-Cut blank out of brass and clean-Laminate dry film photoresist onto blank-Expose photoresist with blank sandwiched between artwork in glass frames-Develop photoresist in dilute washing soda-Etch with ferric chloride, probably going to switch to cupric chloride going forward. Your dial started saturating the etchant which resulted in the center hole and date window getting a bit messed up, but was better than the first attempt (shown in image)-Clean/polish, solder on dial feet (spoiler: I fucked this up and yours are attached with adhesive. I scratched a shitpost about this on the back of the dial; the etched guides were flipped vertically and I missed that until it was time to case the watch. Gomen I didn't have time to correct this, but if anyone ever services this they'll know my mistake)-Etch with 50/50 HCL/water for a short time prior to plating-Dip in the forbidden gatorade for nickel plating (nickel acetate plating solution)-Polish the positive lines-Very carefully fill the cavities with acrylic paint, applied with a tiny syringe-Clean up any spillover with a brass knife to make sure the positive lines stay bright. Nickel is harder than brass, so isn't damaged easily.-Put dial on movement, put hands on, case and regulate.I'm working on doing glass enamel instead of paint, but that requires buying a kiln. My previous ones from last years have been cut and layered cardstock dials. I usually do a clock too, but this took longer than anticipated so I hope Aya makes up for it. Play STB; it's fun. AyayayaLet me know if there's ever a problem with it, and Merry Christmas!
>>284760112I almost never take pictures of my own cards. If anon doesn't post it, then it's lost forever. A gambler's life, they call it.
desu from ca It was a Christmas miracle I went outside and saw the card laying on my porch it must have come late last night. I love the Lilly and the heart joke on the inside of the card is great.I think my favorite anime of the year is either let this grieving soul retire, or Anne Shirley.Grieving soul reminds me of konosuba and my little sister has been trying to get me to watch the old Anne of green Gables movies for years. Now i can tell her i know the story haha.Ruri rocks was also great im surprised at how popular it ended up being.I am looking forward to 29-sai Dokushin Chuuken Boukensha no Nichijou next season. I liked what i read of the manga.Best azumanga girl is Kagura hands down. Mostly because i have a thing for one piece swimsuits. Going through pubertywhile on a competitive swim team does things to a guys brain let me tell you. Again thank you for the card and you have a very Merry Christmas em from ut
>>284760112Wait until the new year you thirsty fuck
>>284759448Glad you like it! If you have iPhone, you have to use app like NFC Tools to read the text inside (when I was designing the whole thing I used a chip that does not support Apple's Core NFC spec, but will work with additional app, my mistake, didn't know this at the time). The lights work better when the iPhone is at an angle for some reason. Next year I'll fix this and add some extra thingies for sure.I was worried about the DVD, but I've checked it before, and it seems that both discs are indeed original and with no errors, so ripping should work just fine.>>284759981Originally they were supposed to be covered with glaze, but the firing process didn't go as planned, so hence the fluff on the ceramic.
>>284760399Based Lillyfag
I got these cards after a 9 hour train ride so I apologize in advance if they're mixed up and I get initials wrong.First one is a homocard from Teru Mobu of CA, your card was very creative and even the envelope the card came in is a work of art. Thank you for all of the goodies and cute boys. I also remember sending you a card a few years ago.I hope you're having a Merry Christmas and that you have a happy New Year!
>>284760112Wait until 12am, after that it is all fair game. Don't forget to publicly shame your santa.
>>284760351Cool process.
>>284760505Next one is from BB of MN who immediately starts with fighting words. Careful, my waifu has many ways of killing those who insult her, including an axle from a toy car in one episode...I'm glad you liked Otaku Elf and Otherside Picnic (and I highly recommend the LN if you haven't read it already) and I'm too looking forward to Witch Hat Atelier.I hope you're having a Merry Christmas, have a happy New Year, and that you enjoy Canaan and Apocalypse Hotel.
>>284760105>>284760112My anon still hasn’t post his gift, he must hate it…
>>284760658The final one is from JL of WI. I love your rendition of Kirika, I'll be including her and the ornament in my waifu shrine picture. I'm actually happy to get a few cards that aren't part of the challenge and especially that I got at least one of my waifu.Thank you for the goodies, hope you're having a Merry Christmas, and that you have a happy New Year!
>>284760399I've been on 4chan for over 20 years.I never knew that t b h filters to desu
>>284760351this is awesome anon
>>284760733And now for replies to people who have gotten my cards. First one is MS of PA>>284638836I'm glad you like your card!>Your stocking is great! What did you use to color her in?Prismacolor pencil.>Your waifu seems somewhat cute!Oh, she's more than just "somewhat" cute to me. She's the cutest!>If you had to recommend one of your favorites to me and other anons reading this, which would you suggest?Even though my personal favorite is Noir, I'd probably recommend Sora no Woto so other anons can experience the annual stream in January.
>>284760399Merry Christmas I glad you got your card I will check out those shows you recommended.I like one piece swimsuits too My name is BHt. means best regards in >>284760943moot added that word filter in like 2014 when t b h , s m h and f a m where being spammed
>>284761084>spoilerThere is no fucking way. I know it's been a thing for years, but over a decade? Goodness. The filter's introduction feels like yesterday.
Thank you so much for the gift, JJ of NY. I have literally been stalking this nendoroid for a while. I went after a limited time Tohru this year instead of Iruru, so its crazy you ended up getting one of the figures I wanted. I also love the art on your card, I couldn’t have asked for better, and personally I think pencil is better than color, its insanely difficult to properly capture a characters color without making it look cheap or weird.
>>284761016Next are two homocards, AM of FL and IP of OK>>284677558>>284690130And one regular card, HB of NC>>284742596I'm glad you all liked your cards and I hope all of you are having a Merry Christmas/have a happy New Year!
>>284760351wish I could get a Hibiki one.
Merry Christmas anons, i hope the year treated you well! my gift from SM of RI arrived on time and it had a bunch of goodies, yui is and k-on are always greatly apppreciated and the magazines are actually really cool, ive never gone out and bought these myself so i didnt know they came with cd's. the mugi plush is very cute and will probably end up in my car.
>>284754794Glad you liked it! I was really surprised when both of my US cards made it last minute before Christmas, being the first time I use that carrier and all that, it was truly a miracle!Looking at all those tracing references put me in the mood to watch more Kaguya Sama for sure. I have already downloaded S3, but this time of the year is an incredibly busy period for me so I haven't had a chance to do anything outside getting presents for my family, working and doing cards. But now that things have relaxed a bit more, I'll definitely give it a try!I'm having a great time so far! Both with my family and with all of (you), my best wishes for you as well, Merry Christmas!!
>>284761415and the last part of the gift, a big kumo from the spider isekai. aoi really did carry this entire show on her back.
>>284761311Sign up for hand made tier next year and get lucky >>284760733Sorry for not taking the challenge, but looking forward to seeing the collection photo. Merry Christmas!
>>284760455I apologize for asking again, but after sifting through a ton of NFC (Tools) apps (half of them asking for a subscription lol) I found like three that could read it, but they all say it's empty? Is this divine punishment for owning an Apple device? ;_;In other news, the DVD works well!
I think next year I'm going to sign up as an alias for cards with a name like "Badtaste Brandon" or something similar and ask for cards of objectively bad shows that most of us enjoyed when we were teenagers or somewhat new to anime. Shit like Elfen Lied, Naruto, D-Grayman, Dragonball Z, Gaia online etc. A lot of us are in our 30's, and I think this would be a fun opportunity to really relive our youth and remember when fun things were fun. Please be honest, if you got matched with this card would you have fun with it or would you ghost it?
>>284761607I /LOVE/ this, but I think a good amount of people would hate it.
my big card this year, from tofu! as always i love haibane renmei and its probably one of the best christmas shows to rewatch every year. always good to get things from it. the treats were tasty and im making use of the socks right now
>>284761770banana sock
>>284761853and the last thing from tofu is this wonderful ornament i put on the tree! thanks again anon!
>>284761607As someone who grow up with these things, I feel like there are a ton of fun things you can do with Naruto and Elfen Lied and shows of the like from that era. I'll just warn you that I would 100% go for shitposting if that happens
>>284754189Hey I'm glad that it made it to you in mostly one piece. I unfortunately didn't build a way to access the inside of the oak box. Sorry about that. You could maybe put a little bit of glue on a Popsicle stick or something and wedge it in there to re-glue the paper backing. I should have hinged the back panel, sorry.Fishing shows aren't for everyone, hahaha, I figured I would cast that recommendation out there and see if you bit.Anyway, I hope that you have a very Merry Christmas, Anon.
>>284761552I SUUUUUUUUUUCK at making anything hand made.
>>284761770Anon that's beautiful. I also love Haibane Renmei, I came for the "getting your wings" scene and stayed along for the emotional ride. Truly a good show they don't make em like they used to.
RR of Canada here with a gift from DS of VA!Thank you very much for spoiling me this year! The Shimarin is very cute and I will need to find a proper time to drink Darjeeling. I have a pretty big backlog of models, but I will build Rosehip's tank someday! Fast clumsy slags are way more fun than refined slags in my opinion. The technical file for Planetes is super cool and I'm reading through it right now! I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with only the second part of the DVD set, but I'll enjoy it regardless.Thank you very much and I hope you have a very merry Christmas! Was there a card included? I didn't find one in the box, but wasn't sure since you mentioned forwarding it through a leaf friend of yours.
>>284762138That's also my own concern...I would love nothing more than making something cute for my anon...but they make such incredible stuff in that tier, I have no hope of reaching such heights of craftsmanship. I would just make a card with extra steps and it wouldn't be right.
>thumbnail looks like my gift>"Is it my giftee?!!">it is notthanks anyways
I did not participate, but Merry Christmas to all of you anons!
>>284762093No worries, I'll find a way to fix it back in place. Thanks again and Merry Christmas!
>>284762043Anon, this is the entire point.
>>284761907I love his ornaments, hoping I get his card this year or next year....
>>284752361Hi anon, I'm glad that you liked my silly Saya card. Thanks a lot for your kind words. And of course I remembered that card that you sent to me back in 2020, aka the dark times. But not as dark as that one day when the entire peninsula was affected by the massive blackout. Jesus Christ, what a day. It's good to know that at least you had a nice experience, but for me it was the most boring day of the entire year. Some regions got the lights back as soon as 17:00 pm, but not here at my place. We had to wait until 23:00 pm to see the lights again. Really interesting experience. Anyways, glad to see you around here once again. Let's stay as happy and healthy as possible. I'll see you again whenever the /SS/ gods decide to cross our paths. Our Christmas card paths. Yeah, that. Damn you r/a/dio, I'm still feeling the hungover. But at least now I know exactly why my head hurts. That's good.>>284753178She might have.
>>284762381Do it next year. OCTOBER on the WEEKENDS
I participated for the first time this year, my card was shit, I'm sorry and I'll will do better next timeMerry Christmas!
>>284761770A Haibane Renmei card? And it looks THIS good? Holy crackers anon, that's a jackpot. Props to your santa.
>>284761578I've tested "NFC Tools" on a borrowed iPhone, and it worked (under "NDEF" or something like that) , but it's possible something went wrong during data write. Try it, if it doesn't work, I'll ask santas to deliver the text file to you.
>>284759386>>284755155Hey hey anon, looks like we both had eachother as our giftees! And yeah for these events I kept putting my name as JTA of NC because I was unsure about using my real initials, but then UPS asks for your real name and blah blah anyways, so in hindsight it wasn't really necessary. >was Overlord one of your favorites? I liked what I read / saw fine enough, although I wouldn't say it was one of my favs. But hey everybody loves Shalltear so I knew it'd be a good gift. >If you ask me to I'll repost the card so you don't have to go hunting for it.No need, I just found it. I was actually active in that thread, but then it achieved and a new one was up before I got a chance to see your post.Great photo of the FF drawings together, and heads up when I said BD2 I meant BD2 for the Switch and not DB Second, never played that one. Why don't you post a new photo of the card so the other anons can see Grinch getting what's coming to him? Can't really see it well in that one. As for your gift, luv it. The shirt is really comfy and I look forward to trying out your gyudon recipes.Mononoke Sharing is kino so far, that was a great idea to add it in there. Only read a few chapters, but so far the slutty fox spirit might be my fav. The candy is a nice bonus too, what's the deal with the blue globe ones? Never seen them before
>>284761607I think the real question is would you actually enjoy these cards rather than potentially wasting people's time? When you make an alias and theme like that it just comes across that you don't actually care and it is all for a joke. I'd rather you just be honest with yourself and genuinely ask for your shonen cards without hiding behind the joke and I will gladly make your card for you with the same effort I do for all the rest. The explanation you gave here is good enough and I have no issue enjoying some mindless shonen and nostalgia.
BB of MNI am currently traveling but will be opening your gift (and posting) once I am back Saturday evening! My apologies! I hope you are having a Merry Christmas!
>>284750989Tremendously cute.>>284750400Splendid Akko.>>284751598Funny Popo.>>284752846That's wonderful.>>284754189There are so many talented anons; just beautiful.
>>284753889also, I almost forgot, but if you like the raider gundam after you've built it, the calamity is also another great kit. they sort of have a dual function where they designed so that the calamity can ride on top of the raider.
>>284762565Of course I would enjoy them, why else would I ask for them? Super silly question. The idea isn't even about the shounen specifically , it's about revisiting that period in our lives when we were younger, less jaded etc. and could be cringe.>Why use an alias then?I think it's funny, no other reason. May change my mind on it by next year
>>284762553this app seems to match that name, but it only gives information about the chip
Ty for my big chonk Pochita, AC from IN, I love it! It feels like I have a real Pochita of my own and it will fit right in with my other plushies. I continue enjoying the coffee and snacks you gave. I hope you're having a wonderful Christmas and thx again!
>>284752545Sure, send me the alt address. My trip to Japan was good, but also kind of stressful, because I speedran Japan in two weeks. But I did enjoy Hiroshima/Miyajima. Kyoto is also worth visit, but really depends on the time of the visit for avoiding crowds. Also went to a horseracing event as a Umamusume enjoyer. The majority of the gifts I purchased are in Nakano Broadway and Den Den town. I wish you a nice Christmas, Anon.
>>284762200Glad it made it. I saw the DVD set at the used store by accident while looking for the artbook and couldn't find the other set but it was so cheap I decided to throw it in anyway. Now you get to go find the other to complete the set. I figure the tea is probably good for a while but I also found it not really that great, the big thing is the collectible sticker on the can you can pull off. Guess the santas did not inform you that the card is late and coming separate, this is my bad since some stuff came up and I couldn't get it out the door in time for international shipping. However if you ask the santas, I did take photos of the card and send it to them if you wish to view it now, otherwise you're gonna have to wait until it gets to your place.I feel like I fucked up a bit, I had much higher hopes for what I could find in Tokyo, but it was just so many poorly sculpted prize figs and nothing interesting and practical like you'd wanted. It seems like I could have done more, so forgive me and please let me know if I can try to make it up for you somehow. I hope you have a Merry Christmas regardless!
>>284761607I think this would be the most fun card I'd ever do
>>284762923I'm glad you like it! I hope you have a wonderful Christmas too!my dog went crazy excited when he saw pochita, I'm not sure why. I was surprised by how huge it was
>>284761770>>284761853>>284761907So glad it arrived safely your state and zipcode were actually missing from your address but luckily your city made it easy to figure out, make sure to double check that next year and you love everything! You had a lot to pick from but I always like trying to make stuff from older shows when I can, was a great rewatch too. I really like how the background paper I picked hides the translucent portions of the card, make sure to set it up with the tea light behind so you can see it's full glory (the instructions should be in the envelope)! Enjoy everything and hope you're having a Merry Christmas and a fantastic New Year!
>>284763205I will take the DVD quest upon me, and yeah, I've had that experience in Tokyo as well. I really appreciate the effort of shopping for me while on vacation it means a lot. I'll find a place for the sticker somewhere! Regarding the card, I will be waiting warmly, no issues on it being a little late. Was the card sent to the same one as the box, MB? I'll let my folks know to be on the lookout so they can forward it to me! Please don't feel like you didn't do enough, you did plenty and made my kurisumasu very melli! Thanks again!
JB from AustraliaPostan time! I woke up just a bit ago and have now composed myself enough to update you. Thank you for going above and beyond with everything! I love them! My wife's figure is incredible and much bigger than expected when initially checking the figure out back when the sculpt was first showcased. I always manage to ruin myself financially with /ss/ and inevitably fail to go through with my winter figure preorders but it seems like the Steins;Gate remains on my side! Now my wife has poetically been brought to my side by the forces that initially kept us apart! She also created a weird motif for my desk figgies that I didn't see coming I know I never mentioned this in my wishlist but I absolutely adore plushies even though I didn't own any before so she was an amazing suprise! Also migu rabu! Will definitely love and take care of her 10/10. The book will surely see much use in the future and assist in the fulfilling of my husband duties. The timing is great too since I was getting tired of my usual repertoire. From a rudimentary look I gave it (since I'm in very much no state to cook) it seems to stay on point with minimal fluff, exactly the way I like them! Your card is great like always! It definitely and absolutely didn't fool me when I accidentally took a peek h-haha. Remembered to match the date again too, impressive. The little bow on Yunocchi was a great addition too, are those kuromi stickers? Thanks a lot for your warm wishes, hope your Christmas has been fun and that the new year brings you and your maidwife even more happiness!Thank you for everything again!
gifts this year look amazing holy shit. did everybody go all out for some reason this year?
>>284763671A very weak yen probably helped.
>>284763683I didn't even consider that actually. what's it down to now? last I checked it was like $70 for 10k yen.
RL of WAPart 1 of 2.You can't believe how happy I was to see that you were my s/a/nta again this year. It seems like you put a lot of thought into everything you do during Christmas. Holy cow, I just opened the mountain of gifts you sent me and I am floored. The Youjo Senki art-book is awesome! I've already started flipping through, and I can tell you I will spend hours pouring over this. The little Hina ornament is fantastic. I Love the effort you put into making this little gremlin into an ornament. This must have taken you quite some time, and it shows! It's going to be on my Christmas tree every single Christmas from here on out. Now as to all the Fukumoto swag. It's all awesome, I love it. As soon as I opened your cracker box I saw the ざわ's greeting me and I was already laughing. The stickers will be put to good use promptly, as will the key-chains, I Think I'm going to hang them from my Christmas Tree. The poker chips are a pretty unique items, I didn't even know they made them. The Bog artwork bags are super neat too! Gotta love Kaiji.Imagine my shock when the rattly little box ended up yielding the 4 Heavenly Kings themselves! These are going to be proudly displayed on the top of my desk from here on out. The Yuru Camp patch is really cool, I'll have to get it Velcro backed so I can slap it on my jacket or Camping bag. The little acrylic Teibou figures are very cute. I'm going to put them next to the Yuru Camp acrylic figure from 2023, which is still on my desk. Now it wouldn't be /a/ jolly Christmas season without the traditional sock delivery. I assure you that I will wear these puppies out. It's odd how the older I get, the more I appreciate the gift of socks.End Part 1.
>>284763763Part 2 of 2.The quartz that you sent me is super cool! I looked up your mining coordinates and that looks like a pretty rugged place. It must be fun to go out and source your own minerals gems. I have been meaning to start on Ruri no Houseki. I will have to now based on your recommendation. Speaking recommendations, I'm glad you gave Kurosawa a shot. It really pays off by the end of the first volume, well worth finishing. Speaking of Kurosawa, the card art is amazing. I love him in his Santa outfit. Also the threatening aura of the inner card art is fantastic. I'll be sure to wear those socks! It's good to hear that you liked the Nanachi light that I sent you. I hope its ok to send you another thank you gift this year. Anyway, Thank you very much Anon! you have truly made my Christmas something special. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
>>284763418Ok, so you know how it is. I asked the Santas to reach out and they gave me a different BC address so I'm assuming that's correct.
>>284764172Yep, that's correct!
>>284763838> I'll be sure to wear those socks! No, you're going to put the socks on and you're going to take pictures wearing them, and then you're going to post them.
>>284762564Oh shoot I forgot dungeon meshi in the gift photo! You should leave your initials as John the anon im sure it makes searching threads a bit easier. The blue globe candy was something i saw at the candy store and i added on a whim. They were a hit ill have to get more next year.I totally forgot they made a bravly default for the switch. Ill add it to the to try, but im still working my way through final fantasy. Did you know the people who did the music for bravely default also did the music for attack on titan?Im glad you love the gift. Your card was the one i was most proud of this year i have pretty much decided i can't draw hair Im glad you liked everything I was debating whether to send the statue or not but I decided it had more Soul than a lot of the official statuesI also agree with you that slutty fox girl is best girl in mononoke sharing. I was going to also send a third manga by her but it was sold out. Oh well.I hope you like the gyudon I've only ever had one person post pictures that they actually made it. If you're worried you can the archive from two years ago to see his review.Merry Christmas!
>>284762895Damn, There should be something more visible, I must've broken something during tag preparation, and now NDEF won't even register on an iPhone. I'll send the txt file to be forwarded by santas, gomen.
ME from SwedenI have slept. Pictures have been taken. As were saying, thank you for spoiling me with so many different things. Seems like you can work many tools and machines, and I love that you tried a bunch of things. For the coasters, I think Yotsuba is probably weak to heat so I'll be careful not to burn her. Actually maybe I'll just display her on a wall, It would look nice. The other two of Christmas potatoes are cute. Slate is such a beautiful material. Although I can't tell what's going on with the Nuko-bag down there. The way you drew them on the card is adorable though.I think you did a good job with the campfire and the Dryad. With even the little flickering effect. I wonder what's the thought behind the choice of those two items. The トトロ "acrylic stand" is cute as hell. and that's coming from a noted acrylic stand hater. I like the glass art look, will keep on my desk for sure.I have put the magnets on my computer tower for now. It's a shame the ink smeared. It sit because of the glue ?At that point the mugs feel like you're going beyond the call of duty. I assume they cost above the tier price point too. I'm not complaining though. I drink in mugs a lot, and I like metal ones especially. That Dungeon Meshi fanart is cute. do you have a source? As for the snacks, well to be honest I don't like liquorice at all, sorry. Surprisingly though, I tried the super salty ones and I find them much more tolerable than sweets. It's a new flavour for sure. I didn't know Swedes were all about Liquorice.Well it's fine, I just demolished the Almonds chocolate instead. I'll get a tummy ache tomorrow.Good to hear my list got you to read big dawg stuff. I have a piece of crafts- related advice. For some stuff the kind of glue varnish can work, personally I'd advise using a hobby type matte topcoat spray. It'll save you much troubles.Merry Christmas, thanks a lot santa.
SH and SA.again im sorry your stuff was late. it was dropped off at UPS so you should see updated tracking by now/soon. again not my best showing but stuff just came up. i hope the extra stuff in there makes up for it.to all my card anons, your stuff is out there too and i hope you forgive me for being late.
Thank you RR of BC again this year, seems like a few people are complaining about that this year. Should probably complain to Santas next year if it somehow happens again, cause I can't hog all your efforts.Sorry for how late I'm posting this, my brain chemicals are fucking with me, and I am feeling a really really down. Maybe I should have begged you for alcohol after all lol. Anko's shift from psycho to dork is perfect though! From edgelord to girl failure! Or maybe thats my "oh gawd I'm so fucking old" bias. Now that you've played with a laser engraver yourself, you probably come to understand how shoddy af the stuff I made 4 years ago was and that makes me cringeeeeeee. I'd like to say I've gotten better but I just don't have enough timeeeeee.Mao mao is great, I love her exasperation at dealing with Jinshi If I can oldfag a bit, it reminds me of the dynamic of the MC's in Ouran HSYour gifts great though, cute little diorama with the party, and the glass engraving is great. Insert more glazing here cause oh gawd I'm so bad at these messagesA poll of drunks about who the best character in a series with a drunk is woefully biased lolAfter rereading this, I'm burning myself constantly, but I don't want that to detract from your gift, I appreciate everything you've given me, its all top tier in my heart, and I hope you have aVERY MERRY CHRISTMASanda Happy New Year RRI assume you're using something like the paint method with a diode laser to engrave this glass?
>>284763838Cute Yua>>284763763Cute Kurosawa
>>284764717>It sitIs it.
>probably got grinched>my assignment has ghosted, I've been assigned to him in a previous year and he posted his gifts then, so he's probably dead or somethingI did get a number of cards just in the nick of time yesterday, though. VS in NL, your whitelist card is also in town and was meant to be delivered yesterday but there's some kind of processing error delaying it (again). The ordering of the street/building numbers you put on the delivery address is kind of jumbled/backwards and it might be causing confusion...TM in CA I've received another one of your cards. I always end up keeping the envelopes because I don't want to throw out the wax seals. Love how it turned out, the facial cutout used to carry Sensei's face across multiple pics works really well
To the anon who sent me this wonderful Magical Mirai 10th anniversary Special Edition BluRay/DVD thank you so much!!!!!! I've been wanting one for ages now.... but the sad thing is I don't have the heart to open it up. I'm a collector and i hate taking things out of their box! Also Like a dumbass I accidentally threw out the box this came in so i can't see you initials or where you were from! I had gotten two packages in on the same day both similar in size and threw the wrong box away. This is HB of NC if you want to know. Also the card was nice.
>>284754456No need to apologize at all I can relateIf your cards are as good as your gift I absolutely won't say no though, if you have any characters you'd like to see on a thank you card please let me know or send it through the Santas.I'm going to have to track down that official Nanachi perfume. Palms up is ideal to show off those fingers so no worries there, and they're flexible enough to hold up the hat to get both looks. Cheers for letting me know, otherwise I wouldn't have tried lifting it off!
>>284764808Detective best girlGreat card
>>284764889Hold on hope anonI don't have anything to post but I am banking on that being because postal services for me are shut down till Tuesday and it just didn't make it in time.lack of tracking does make it tough though
>>284764889BR in CA's card showed up as well - I've gotten a lot of Sensei cards this year. Not lewding him is fine, it'd be kind of odd lewding a sterile robot anyway. Promare is a lot of fun, dumb/excessive in typical Trigger style. Thanks for the stickers as well
>>284765009CP in VA, thank you for aligning fate and putting war crimes back on the menu. I have to admit I'm not sure what the origami is supposed to be but it's been folded really nicely
ID of CALooks like USPS FINALLY got of their fucking arses, maybe if we're lucky you'll have it next week. Doubt itCD of CAMS of ILMP of ONDid you three get your wooden Christmas cards? I'm not gonna dogeza and beg you to post'em but I wanna know if the third party I assigned to ship your stuff fucked up or not.
>>284763838>I'll be sure to wear those socks!>>284764592Just got them out of the dryer. Toasty warm and ready for a cold winters night.
>>284765106CF in Aus your envelope was a really, really tight fit but I managed to pry the card out intact. The paper cutting looks like it turned out really well - there's a heart partially cut out on the back of the card though so I don't know if you were planning something different before?
>>284761156So glad you like it! It's funny it worked out in this way. I only saw Iruru in one shop way off the beaten path so something told me it was the one to get. That tohru fig is incredible, I can see how you had to get it. I saw a poster when I was in Akihabara of the DM girls in cow bikini, but wasn't there during the actual pop up. So here is a bonus look at it. Merry Christmas!
>>284765434>all that oppaigood lord
SM from Scotland, I recieved your gifts! Thank you so much!SO MUCH CCS I’m pretty jazzed by it, I showed my ceramicist friend the plate as they want to use decals in new year, it’s gorgeous thank you. I’m happy to see you paid attention to my “trinket/everyday use” aside from my list, the pouch will especially come in handy thank you so much, as well as the pill dispensers! They are such lovely quality and I like their Mamoru and Usagi’s additional accessories. The petal plate will be used for my jewelerry! I love the focus on Sakura and Tomoyo as well, Tomoyo has always been such a huge highlight for me in CCS I even cosplayed her years and years ago now….. I will these all to good use! I will be sure to send you a thank you letter!
>>284751791>squintsthat’s my card. mate I used Royal Mail stamps for it. Glad it arrived in time at please but please try and get it right
>>284755721>>284756802I'm glad you like it all. I did try to incorporate your other interests, thanks for letting me know what they were to begin with, makes for much more fun gift shopping desu, I do the same thing. I was worried you might have already had that vinyl, since it seemed like a no-brainer for a Ghibli/vinyl fan. I'd be honored that my shitty lil clay dudes make it on someone's desk. Let me know how those cocoa things are by the way, I've eaten a bunch of Malley's but never tried those. I'm particularly proud of that Lum drawing because it's the closest I've ever gotten to freehanding without reference. Merry Christmas homie and I'm excited for your card.>>284756919If you're not acting like a fruit for this event, you're doing it wrong, tbqhdesu
RL of VA I got your card and treat! It's great seeing your card in the mail again, I love the Aki inside... I can't wait to hear your opinion on Kaiji next year. (If you're up for it, I can add you to my list and make you a card to exchange next year so we don't have to rely on the Santa lotto)
>>284764889That's an amazing card! I'm jelly of the homo-anons
>>284762564I also forgot to say I put the popping candy on the table last night with all the other treats, and when my nephew saw it he shouted that he couldn't believe that santa knew what hos favorite candy was.So you also made his christ.as extra special!
>>2847657112nd card as well! NC of CA I got your card as well, I am Aki's husband and absolutely her biggest and most passionate fan! She is the goodest girl, she is a hard working mama and I can't help but love her strength for her family and just love her to bits.I would recommend it, especially with the new movie, stage play, and anime all coming out next year. It's the perfect time to jump in! The Aki drawing you included is absolutely adorable too! I also love the Chikawa stationary and stamp. I will enjoy all the time I have with my family, I won't waste it! Have a Merry Christmas;
>>284765799I forgot the card...
>>284765636Damn, I just got in and opened the thread! Nice to see you got them! I didn't pay attention that they were pill dispensors, I just thought they were cute little accessories, sometimes its hard to read the google translations. It's mainly CCS and Sailor Moon, because they were the cutest, and I personally enjoy CCS even though I never did finish it before Christmas R/a/dio....>>284749077Also I'll take a photo later, I was out all day and I'm knackered, but I'll make sure to do it before I go out tomorrow!Hope you had a good christmas day!
Thank you for your card NC from CA! The drawing of my wife is cute and the little pattern of the Yamanote line on top is nostalgic, I have not ridden it in a while. (PA-san is also cute, of course) I'm glad to hear we both like gay hate sex the anime, colloquially known as Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete - it is a great show and I look forward to reading the manga. As for Gabriel Dropout, it's alright and is a nice SoL but I wouldn't specifically recommend it as a show if you don't like the genre. Samurai Flamenco, however, I will recommend no matter what. It is an experience. I hope you have a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
>>284766083>Samurai Flamenco, however, I will recommend no matter what.
>>284766083>>284765831>>284765799Holy shit, my two cards in a row, truly this is a christmas miracle !!!Thank you both for your kinds words, Merry Christmas and see you next year !!
VE of Spain you should have received a tracking number for a card coming from the UK. It's been stuck in customs since December 8th, still has the status "awaiting presentation to customs". I don't know whether that simply means they haven't got to it yet, or if there's an actual problem with it. If there is an issue they should hopefully reach out to you about it. Either way, it hasn't arrived in time for Christmas so I'm really sorry about that anon. I took photos of everything, if you want me to post them just let me know.ER of UK your card was delivered on the 13th, looks like it was left in some sort of black plastic thing hopefully not your wheelie bin!
And Santa from CA, thank you for your card! The ornament of Marisa is very cute da ze. I will find somewhere to put it up during the season next year, maybe one of my bookshelves. The candy is also appreciated, as I am fat and like eating things. As for the card it may be a repeated joke but as a Shadowverse player it made me laugh my ass off, we post an edited version every expansion. I only watched the Space Cobra anime so I had no idea the manga was the original source until right now, wild. Would rec the anime, it was really fun and the music is jazzy as fuck. >Mage and Demon QueenWill try and look for a site that has it for free, your contributions to my yuri backlog are commendable.Hope you have a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year santa!
>>284764913Ore da. I almost wanted to keep that for myself when it came in but I held firm and sent it off. I'll have to pick it up whenever I get the chance.
Merry Christmas! Thank you for this lovely collection of gundam merchandise. I will be sipping on tea with the glory of neo zeon in my heart and their emblem pinned to my blazer. I plan on making a battle jacket so the patches will be put to great use ( チャァ!). I liked the chocolates you sent too and your drawing of 2B! I hope you see this, I unfortunately do not have the original box with your initials due to the pugs wanting the candy inside.
>>284766699It ate my image. Eep!
>>284766503Initials and State? SO I can at least thank you properly?
>gift was delivered on the 24th>anon hasnt post itthis is feels worst than being grinched
>>284766773I'm sure they just ended up stuck in a blizzard somewhere, anon.
>>284764691don't worry anon, this is still some very impressive stuff! tapping my phone gives life to the card!
Dear APN from BrazilThank you for this cute extra from the card! I don’t know much about TCG although I own a bunch of Schwarz Weiss cards but she’s very cute!
IL anon, first of all I want to apologize for thinking I was grinched, truly it was a confusing experience with the back and forth of wrong trackings. Anyways, I'm blown away by your present(s), I fucking adore them, there is nothing better than receiving unexpected amazing gifts like the Hiroi Sake masu cup and tokkuri. Last night I slept hugging the bocchi pillow. As for the figures, thank you so much, I do not have them, Nanashi is fucking adorable ! Hopefully you didn't suffer much choosing the Homura best girl figma, she is the cutest and #1 not like Sayaka. Also thank you so much for the candies and card, although I had a hard time figuring out who was in the front of the card (is it Alphonse???)Merry christmas anon, apologies again for the back and forth and I really wish you the best. Loved everything.
>>284766883Whoa there, anon, you forgot to paint your army
>>284761476>Yeah, I'm a Christmas present. So what?
>>284766989I-i knew I had to take the picture somewhere else with nothing in the background.
>>284766083
>out of town >someone got me something I said I'd like getting from my SantaWhat do I do if I get two of the same things?
>>284766773My also hasn’t posted and I didn’t get my gift either.
>>284754943They weren't as beat up on the underside but they didn't have the colored sugar on that side so instead of flipping them I left them as is. Whimsical is a great word for it, I enjoy watching her whirring away. And happy to hear you liked your gift!>if you're perhaps a seagull anon?I'm not, I just got inspired by that sort of thing. I haven't been to a convention in years, but if you're still around doing /ss/ next year I wouldn't mind doing another exchange if you wanted in return (or we could just wait until fate ordains it in another five years).
>tfw post office only re-opens on the 27thThen I will post your cards, anon
>>284761607>liking shit ironicallynah, that's basically the same thing as ironic weebs in the normalfag sphere.
Ty MS from Il!Ive been jelly of all the Clamp/Sakura cards posted, so as soon as I saw the Sakura Card peaking out of the envelope I was very excited and almost teary eyed when I realized it was Kotoko you’ve chosen! Never imagined how much of a good fit she would be for this. I love the lace and weight of your card, it gives it a lovely and fancy feel. You did a beautiful job!The ornaments are so adorable and detailed, perfect for my small Christmas tree. I actually do like frogs, they’re very silly and this Syaoran Keroppi is very cute.Really surprised and happy to be getting more coffee and I cant wait to try ‘em. Ty for all the goodies, it felt like I got yet another gift this Christmas. Hope your Christmas is going well and Happy New Year!
>>284766751I'm content being your secret santa
>Only 2 of my cards have been postedJust say you hate it at this point
>>284766749>>284766699I'm getting a lot of questions about my Neo Zeon mug which are answered by my Neo Zeon mug
>>284753664glad you enjoyed it anon, I'll be looking forward to your postcard. Just don't send it later than like March.
Ty for your gift, MP from NY!This really caught me by surprise. The cute Rin card drawing on top only to reveal a bigger surprise underneath.I didn’t expect a handmade gift and yet I received to most adorable handmade Rin plushie! I love how detailed she is, like the lil bows, even her bare feet are cute. You’re making me want to do plushies next year. There’s been so much love for SF this year. I do hope you get around to watching it, another anon mentioned wanting to watch it too. Who knows, maybe next year it’ll be part of both of your wishlists and the SF love will spread. Thanks for the wonderful gift and card. I hope you’re having a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
>>284766877Glad you liked. That's from Goddess Story, some Chinese TCG which I'm not really sure how much is licensed at all[ but got some nice alternative art styles of the ladies such as this Kurisu, great card quality (even the lower rarities look gorgeous) and should be very cheap to get from AliExpress and stuff. It was a shame the Louise cards in the sets I bought were higher rarity so I never got one.Merry Christmas!
>>284766083who's Nariikurisu Masu?
I don't want to give too many details here as I don't want to make my Santa feel bad, but: I received a gift that I simply don't want. The store page it's from doesn't do refunds/exchanges/store credit without original receipt and I don't want to send it back to him, even if only because doing so would eat up half of the cost again (and he would feel bad). What should I do?Note that I'm not asking in the sense of "what to do in relation to the event", just as a general thing. Attempt to sell on eBay and hope someone else will enjoy it? Simply dispose of it?The Santa didn't do anything wrong here btw, it's technically an item from the series I'm just not into [omitted for obvious reasons].
Dear Nova from MexicoThank you very much for the figure, it’s really cute. I’m going to put it on my desk, and I already used one of the stickers on my laptop. I really liked those, along with the drawing.I truly appreciate you being able to get me a gift despite the inconveniences you mentioned in your letter. I didn’t have anything from Blue Archive in my collection before, so this was a very nice surprise. I honestly didn’t expect to receive something like this since it’s not very closely related to /a/, and I even regretted adding it to my list at first but now Im glad that I didn´t do it.After reading your letter, I guess the other series on my list might not be that well known either. I thought JJBA, k-ogn, and seins;gate could work as safer options in case the others weren’t familiar, but I suppose it’s been a long time since they were really popular. I’ll keep that in mind, thank you for pointing it out. I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
>>284768639You should do whatever you want with it and then never sign up for this again
>>2847686391. Why would you EVER post this2. Do not sign up in the future3. Sell it online and get something for yourself that you actually want, or better yet give it to somebody who will actually appreciate the gift.
>>284768639You should keep it because it's a gift your anon bought for you. When I first participated in /ss/ my santa got me an artbook for an anime adaptation I hadn't even watched (and still haven't). I still have it with me to this day, because why would I get rid of something that someone gave me as a present? I would've preferred something else but I'm not going to spit in the face of someone who paid money to give me something.
>>284763763>>284763838>>284765242Hi Anon! I'm glad you like the gifts. If you do decide to send something do note the change in address. Have a Merry Christmas and see you around!
>>284768639Place it in a very visible place so you can always be reminded that your incompetence caused this.
>>284750989That's great; I'm very relieved it made it, as I really enjoyed the mahou shoujo full immersion from your list, and wanted to send a proper thank you. I've also heard the later Yuru Camp seasons aren't as good as S1, and since I enjoyed the experience of that one so much I'm a bit reluctant to go on to S2 just yet. Maybe in a while, when I start getting an itch for the outdoors.Hope you've been having a great Christmas, anon.
>>284768639Why didn't you specify in your wishlist that you don't like nendos or artbooks or whatever?
>>284768639Sell it ig. If it’s unrelated to anything you listed I think it counts as grinching. If its something you listed then do a better job with your wishlist next year.
>>284768887>>284768826If I wrote something along the lines of "send me a manga that's close to your heart for my physical library!" and they send a figure that I can't place there, I don't think it's correct to say at the very least I wasn't specific.Again, details changed for anon's sake.I wouldn't consider that grinching either though.Oh well.
>>284760351Holy shit
Finally I have access to a computer. Thank you for the gifts, MK from Finland! I wasn't aware that they made these kits and I'd have gotten one myself before if I was, very cool. The baiku related collection is going to grow yet again and I'll probably need to get a dedicated Detolf for it before long. I think gifts like these are especially fun because they're so unexpected and combine different things on my list. Rin's figma is also actually the first first figma I own, and I've been curious about how easy they are to pose. I'll find out later tonight.Foodstuff: I thought the licorice/chocolate combo had the potential to be criminal (I've never even seen them release such products in my country and we love both), but it really just works. The well known tinier salmiakki were nice to finally try as well after enjoying the liquor and larger ones before. The breadcheese was tasty and weird in a good way; I was expecting bread with cheese filling, but it being a sponge-y thing was quite interesting. Beer will be saved for NYE. And finally: last post I wasn't aware yet that you filled the chocolate box with a wide variety of local stuff. I really appreciate that, makes it so fun to sample. In my eyes it's still Christmas as long as you haven't gone to bed yet, so Merry Christmas and a happy 2026!
CS of BCThank you so much for your gifts! I was actually your santa last year which is how I know your initials and you've certainly returned the favour. I'll admit I was confused at first when I saw the aircraft weapons box, but the bait and switch of it actually containing a fucking Haruhi bunnysuit figure was master class. The Yuyuko figure is awesome as well, I'm putting them both on my shelf immediately. And the fact that I got you to try out TTGL again was amazing to hear, it's one of my all time favourites. Thank you again, and Merry Christmas!
>>284767706The love I (and assuming many others) had for those series was real and they still have a place in my heart, even if my tastes have matured. To say it's ironic is a disservice I feel.
>>284769158Then I'd send you manga among other stuff, figurines possibly included. If you said 'please only send me manga because I'm running out of space" then you'd be right. Always be clear on what you don't want.
>>284769341Just saying you're nostalgic for the series instead of signing up with a "joke" list is probably the better way to go.
>>284768639Bro my first ss i got a board game I already hadLast christmas I sent manga that my santa already hadThisbss I got a figure I already hadThings happen. Do you know what you do?You say thank you.Things happen when you are sending stuff to strangers. Just be happy and sell/regift/treasure the wonderful heartfelt gift you got sent.
>>284764889Sorry to hear that. Our postal system is generally good, but if there's one thing I hate it's that I can't just handwrite the address for tracked mail. The online portal does try to adapt the form to the address format of the destination country, but it often ends up being a puzzle especially when additional details are needed. And the thing never gives you a formatted preview before paying either, so then you get something unexpected like this. I assume that the issue will be fixed as soon as a human looks at it, hopefully that won't take too long!
XAM of CA, I have opened your gifts and I will post them and my thoughts when I am not drunk and about to fall asleep before having to work.
>>284769434I have 10 whole months to consider what I'm doing. Your input is appreciated!
>>284766883Hey, there! No worries and glad you liked them! Given your self-deprecation, figured there is nothing more weeb than drinking sake with an alcoholic anime character on it in Mexico. I also assumed you'd appreciate the more poseable of things. You can probably use that Homura as a proxy for some DEldar warlord. Alphonse would be better yarn'd. I saw FMA, wanted to give it a shot. Ended up making Alfonze. Gomenesorry.Seriously though, glad that it all worked out and sorry for any extra hurdles you had to go through. Hope you have yourself a Merry Christm/a/s!
Kind of drunk right now but I got my gift anon. Super surprised there was some shrine sister merch.
Thanks to HB from NC for the rin and snacks!I see why you had to wait for shit from japan, the pendant will always be ready to fix a hole in my heart.
>>284767834Thank you anyway /a/non!
>>284765740Aw that's adorable. Funny enough I only went with those Hello Kitty pop rocks because they were clearly Japanese and therefor a good fit for an /a/ event, even as a kid I never liked the taste of them. >>284764665>Did you know the people who did the music for bravely default also did the music for attack on titan?I did not, but I can see it. Same kind of fanfare and scale. Anyways, great gifts and lots of Christmas Cheer thanks to you, I gotta find out where to put the Tohru statue. Enjoy your /ss/ presents and have fun with your family
Thanks to D from IL for the ~artistic~ cirno card! The new spice and wolf is modernized, but it's lacking a little of that old school kino.Fate I'll always say start with the original VN if you're willing to read, otherwise the UBW anime is where they managed to get enough funding to pay for animators. Ignore grand order. You can watch KnK before or after for Shiki content, it's related in theme but not in plot. Merry Christmas!
>>284764717Hello! Thanks for the photo and the kind words. I also noticed your initials and saw that your gift was posted >>284749734 and I have to say it looks amazing. Sorry that my package does not quite compare. >Yotsuba is probably weak to heat Yeah definitely, it is more of an art piece rather than actual coaster. I used acrylic varnish and it did not turn out very well, the end result was sticky and likely not heat resistant at all. It was my first time painting wood and using this kind of varnish, so I had no idea what to expect. I will give the matte spray topcoat you suggested a try.>slate coastersI do not have a laser etcher, so the end result was not that great. I did rotary engraving with my cheap CNC and those two were the best Yuuri and Chito (and Nukos) from the bunch. I also still have not found a good way to convert SVGs into a format I can use with my CNC, so I was not able to produce fine details because of that. I want to buy a laser upgrade for my CNC but I'm worried I might blind myself.>I think you did a good job with the campfire and the DryadThanks! For the campfire I wanted to do some electronics and assumed you might have Girls’ Last Tour or Yuru Camp figurines to go with a campfire. I saw that you put it next to Rin so mission accomplished I hope! For the dryad fruit, I just wanted to try painting 3D prints. Sorry, as I said most of your gifts were my first experiments with those kinds of crafts.>smeared magnetsYeah, I think it was partly the glue but also my printer running low on ink and just not being great overall. I will avoid gluing paper in the future.
>>284770084Glad you loved her! And believe it not is was the PENDANT I had to wait on. The figure got her quick enough but the pendant got sent back TWICE so i had to order it from another seller and I had to dish out more money for it. only a few extra $
>>284764717>>284770324cont>Dungeon Meshi artI think the source is from season 2 announcement https://x.com/dun_meshi_anime/status/1801252441343807900attached higher-res picture although that one is in English>snacksYeah, liquorice is very much an acquired taste. I am not a big fan myself either but it makes a great gift and a surprise though :pAnd merry Christmas to you as well and a great new year
>>284770079Damn, I just realized my santa didn't put anything I could use to shout him out with. Read the card and the box, nothing.
NA of NY, the paintings are great, you definitely did them justice. That particular combination of grief seed and soul gem is very fitting even more so since I'm a KyouSaya fag, and Canti is always welcome.Going to look for a good place to put them up which shouldn't be a problem since I have a bunch of empty wallsYear was fortunately pretty okay overall, and Christmas has been nice as usual. Hopefully you've had a good one too.You said you weren't a Madoka expert, if you haven't seen it at all yet, I'd definitely highly recommend it, especially with the new movie coming soon.As for FLCL, I'm overdue for yet another rewatch, so it'll be nice having Canti-sama watching over me for it this time. The reindeer crack was really good, was going to try to save some for Christmas, but it didn't make it that far.Hope you're having a great Christmas so far and that you'll have a very happy New Year!
Got a bonus card from BA of NY. Despite your concern in the card, it did actually make it in time. That's a cute Rin, so I do think the crayons add more charm to this sort of art, which means I should definitely do the same if I ever try to draw again. As far as Lupin goes, on the movie side at least, I've stuck more to the older stuff. I've watched more of the new TV series than the old though.Green Jacket (part 1) is a bit rough at times, being a 70s TV anime, but if you don't mind that, I think it's still worth checking out. It does help introduce the characters a bit, which Castle of Cagliostro doesn't really bother with.Otherwise, you're good to watch pretty much anything that catches your eye in any order you want, since outside of a couple exceptions, pretty much everything is standalone.Anyways, hope you're having a great Christmas and have a great New Year as well!
Thanks to KN from Canada for the card and coaster! The girls really would enjoy the stargazy pie.Tachyon best, but is she peak(as in cap)
>>284770942Forgot my image
>>284747415You're welcome anon, its my first time doing anything handmade in probably 15 years. I hope this new year helps me get the skills I need to draw better www. I will definitely be checking out Kaoru Hana and will start a thread on it, or join one sometime in the future. MERRY CHRISTMAS!
>>284770324Damn son, you straight up scammed that Nanachi anon. Embarrassing, weak. Apologize and prostrate yourselfThat said not even $150 tier gifts compare to what he did. I am glad that I wasn't his santa
How did the Toronto anons get the addresses of anons anyways?
>>284765434Its a sixth sense and its freaky how you knew. Also I'm also super jealous you got to galivant around Japan, was it fun? Business or Pleasure? Last question, are you ok if I toss you a thank you gift? Reading your card you mentioned a series I have made some specialty merch for, and if your ok with it id love to send you something as a thank you.
>>284771346They kindly asked to Santa
>>284771346they can just not submit anything to the santas and samefag both sides instead, if they're going to spend a dozen+ hours making a troll card it doesn't take that much more effort to fake a convo
>>284771346They signed up, were given the addresses + wishlists and Santas realized after the fact, according to them.
>>284771416This is a lazy way to say you trust the Santas not to accidentally give away addresses after doing stuff like posting email conversations with private details in threads in the past Not saying the anon who was harassing them didn’t deserve it but the margin for error isn’t exactly airtight
>>284771449Since it was noticed & the anons were matched with others, it is just extra bonus cards (and very good ones in fact) for those anons. They shouldn't complain that much really
>>284771550>very good ones
>>284771513What can santas do? Anyone can register to the event under fake names and addresses and receive some real anons in return
>>284771613Ask for a photo of your ID
>>284768713Glad you like it, don’t forget to talk to DHL. I know from a corporate perspective that the people will forget about things during breaks and nothing changes. I’ll still be waiting for the package to be delivered.
>>284771613They signed up with a blacklisted address, so maybe actually read the fucking applicants to start
>>284769341>maturedlol, lmao even. Just say your taste changed, it has nothing to do with the medium behind it. I got into shounen and comedy after reading/watching nothing but /a/-core and now I prefer stuff that most anons would hate. But I wouldn't say my taste>maturedI still love both /a/ core and not /a/-core, never ditched one for the other. Just say you like Naruto bro, man up.
>>284745883
>>284770324Well at least you varnished your gifts, don't tell anon, but I ran out of topcoat so the helmet is exposed paint...Thanks for the sauce. Please don't blind yourself.>>284771288Don't bully my santa faggot. If anyone's been scammed this year it's my other assignments.
>>284771663And cut number of participants by 95%? Very few people would be comfortable sharing their IDs.Even then they could probably just photoshop some IDs, how Santas were supposed to verify validity of a Zimbabwe ID
>>284771701Yeah, that part where I was disappointed as well. If true, one would hope they had better checks against past grinches or other black listed anons
>>284771613They even said they would sign up with out of country addresses. The ban just opened the floodgates, they're going to be more malicious going forward.
>>284771663>>284771787I’m mad because I’m moving to Ontario in March. Can I email the Santas with proof of my new residence and sign up? I really don’t want to miss out on this as a result.
I wasn't expecting it since I didn't see it in my online mailbox. I thought it would have been delivered after Christmas.>Rewatching Gundam Wing>Reminds you of zechs>Didn't watch any other Gundam seriesI'm actually triggered SV. Who do you think zechs is based on ???????? You need to go watch the entirety of the UC verse right now. Quattro reminds you of zechs what the fuck. Is this real life bait?I really adore the drawing though. Thank you despite the triggering
>>284771726>Don't bully my santa faggotSorry, I was joking around. There was no way to match what you made, please don't raise the bar too high for everyone else!
>>284771863Move somewhere else.>>284771782Well, SantaFaggot admitted to scripting part of the matching process. It's probably the same for the applications, they have something check a list of blacklisted addresses and if it doesn't match the string exactly, they don't catch it.
>>284766346I'm glad you liked it! The meme really has made its way around the gacha community haha!Merry Christmas!
>>284771942The cat sticker on the envelope is really cute I tried to take it off but it was ripping the envelope so I'll just keep the envelope and the cute animal stamps. Thank you for the cute drawing. I'm going to think about this for ages
Just looking through this thread fills me with holiday cheers. Thanks everyone.
>>284771999I am sure there are better ways to do a more fuzzy comparison of address strings. Also I highly doubt if there were any scripts involved this year, considering how many mirror matches there were
>>284701372Merry Christmas! The trip was very fun, though it felt weird to need to have a car after spending so much time on public transport around Tokyo, I reccomend it! Very beautiful scenery around fall.
>>284772136That makes it even worse, since if it was done manually, that means they glossed over a blacklisted address.
Sitting here enjoying some gifted coquito, relaxing and checking out all the cards and gifts people have gotten after a good Christmas day. I have a good feeling my other card from overseas will arrive in the mail tomorrow! Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!
>>284772189>>284772136>>284771999I doubt it's true, but I like to imagine all the santas huddling together discussing which anons get who. Some for shits and giggles like pairing a shounenspic with a moefag, or some they think would pair well like a gundamfag and macross one. I doubt it, but it's a fun thought.
>>284772298There has to be at least some input though, given that they indicate they'll match anons with niche series together. Like the Classicaloid anon the first few years after it aired, and the one or two other people that also watched it.
plot twist: santas are the ontorio anons
>>284754794Chika in that Santa outfit though. Very well done. So many talented anons in here.
>>284772431Nah, Initiated is from South America and Faggot is from the US. No idea about the rest.
>>284772331have any of YOUR matches ever felt intentional though?
The threads are slowing down. I'm not ready for it to end.
I did not expect not receiving a card or gift to put me in such a bad mood
>>284772700I miss when you had to keep up with the many threads on Christmas days
>>284772763How many cards did you sign up for? I sign up for more than I'm comfortable with just to avoid this.
>>284772700Everyone is either with family or at r/a/dio
>>284772779I'm doing that rn, you grandpas are just in the wrong threads
>>284772830Hot take but Secret sant/a/ is at least 4 times as fun and exciting as r/a/dio
>>284772688No but that's because I watch a ton of variety.
>>284772827only the one, I get now that doing that makes it likely to not get one due to various mail circumstances
I love you guysMerry Christmas.hopefully 2026 is a better year than this one has been.
>>284772860Want me to just stare at the thread and read a post every ~10mins?
>>284772763Here anon, I made this one for you. Merry Christmas!
If your anon hasn’t posted your gift yet he didn't like it.
>>284772994That does actually make me feel a bit betterThank you anon
>>284772763give me your wishlist anon
>>284773011I don't have my gift yet.
>>284771550If they’re giving extra cards, I want one. I don’t want to leave it up to luck if they’re going to sign up with random addresses because there’s almost 200 participants, the odds are against me. It’d be better than this year where I didn’t get a single card.
>>284754000Why do you own a Karl Marx plushie? I want to see the whole thing, please.
>>284768399Glad you liked it! I put a lot of love into the plushie. I hope you treat her well.
What’s the average card grinch rate?
>>284773400funny story actually but I remember the very first year I participated and signed up for a few cards along with a gift, and everyone liked what I sent/made. But ONE anon didn't post my card, I just figured he didn't like it and made an effort to always go HARD on my cards ever since. Well fast forward like 3 melli's later and he finally posts my card and said he's always loved it but just never posted it for some reason at the time.yeah that's related to your post somehow, thanks for reading my christmas blog
>>284752817>>284767502Sorry for the long delay KM from GA! Didn't get posted before I had to go around for the day and just got back.First off really loved your card and drawings. I still have your card from 2020 you do good with these. This hand drawn Kurumi is very cute. Desunowman is very creative too had a proper giggle with that one. Always glad to see others enjoy vocaloid, I've not listened to Helius's works so I'll check them out. I'm amused to hear I've convinced you to check out qualia finally hope you enjoy it. I did end up watching Petit Cossette a few years ago when you had recomended it to me. It was a bit dark but I really enjoyed it, a gorgeous anime. You know truthfully I had forgotten the great 4chan shartyocolypse had happened this year. What a mess that was. I did miss all the anons during that week. For better or worse this place is home to me as well, I hope you and all other anons can stick around here "forever" too. This bag isn't wonky at all and feels plenty stout and the gear print fabric is very fun. I'm surprised you aren't /cgl/ this felt quite ita inspired. Now truthfully I'm thinking of using this as a light tool bag for a bit, if you don't mind. Hopefully that's not too far out there from what you had in mind. The pins are fun I'll find some places to stick them around. I'm impressed with the stitching on the bag, I've wanted to learn how to sew for a bit did you take a class? Really doesn't feel like a first time made thing you're quite handy. Thank you for the warm gift and cookies anon. Maybe we'll get matched yet again in a few years. If not I'd like to send you a card next time. Until then merry Christmas!
>>284773114If you’d like to receive a card next year, email us at viscountgreystoke@proton.me with your mailing address. That goes for anyone interested. Happy Hanukkah!
>>284773845Damn, I am intrigued but not sure if I want pagpag at my door. Can you guys promise me to skip that part? I love trying up new cuisines but I think I will draw the line there
>>284773845Fuck it, the card this year was funny and I didn't get a single card from my actual Santas, so I'll send an email later.
>>284773909If you’re sure you don’t want a succulent Tagalog meal, we can make an exception.
>>284763522Glad you like your gifts. Yep, those are Kuromi stickers that I got while shopping for your gifts. In hindsight I should had added more to yours since I have a few left over after doing the other cards. One last thing I forgot to mention in the card, in an earlier thread you commented about thinking I'd force a cosplay onto you, and while that wasn't considered beforehand there was a brief moment after that post where I did consider getting you a Yotsugi cosplay as a joke, but ultimately decided against it in favour of going all in on the Kurisu figure.
>>284773011in my case my anon's gift has been held hostage by customs for a while now and i'm not opening my gifts because it just doesn't feel right to open them while anon can't have hisi hate customs so much it's unreal, it's been tormenting me every waking hour
>>284772763If you would like a card sent sometime after the new year, please post some form of email or contact and I will reach out.
>>284773845>>284774014I'm a cardslut so I'll sign up so long as it's ONLY a card.
>>284773909>>284774014I refuse to believe that people eat garbage so often that they came up with a special name to refer to it.
This is the first year my guy hasn’t posted their gift or said anything yet…well that sucks.
>>284772876Yeah so it varies on a lot of factors but I think a general rule is that it's safe to expect 1 card for every 2 you sign up for. Sometimes 1 in 3 if you're really unlucky, but it ranges from things like postal delays, lost in the mail, lazy anons who send very late because (XYZ excuse) or the rare people who actually sign up for cards just to never send them out. I would never recommend doing 1 card for this reason.Gift though is something you want to email the santas about, there is an antigrinching program where people will send you something if you got fucked over.
>>284774065It's a third world thing.
>>284774034Assuming you're the one who sent to Australia, please do open your gifts. By all means you did everything right and deserve a happy Christmas.
>>284773845Signed up, will be looking forward to it even more than I do to my actual cards
>>284774159I get hit with random bouts of depression and it's hitting me pretty hard today despite the last few days being fine. I'm not spending the day with anyone or even eating anything (fasting because it helps reset my mood).I'm planning on making a post tomorrow after taking iodine and sleeping.Pretend I'm your anon.I'm sorry I'm like this.I hope you have a merry Christmas though.
>>284774159The previous thread last night had some people post gifts, check that and the /ss/ photo album in case you missed it or something.
>>284773011He shipped mine on the 23rd, but at least he shelled out for DHL so it'll get here relatively quick. I have faith it'll be cool. As he's also not whitelisted I can't blame the dude for not really having his act together..
>>284748301>>284746106>well-made plushie>tree as a bonus gift>that way the card is madeHey you're the same anon last year who gifted me Shadow House goodies, right? How are you doing, anon? I still admire the quality of your Scorch all the time. Your Afro Gunso is super cute
>>284773909>>284773931>>284774058>>284774273Received your emails, you’ll be added to the mailing list. If you want, you can include your wishlists and the next card may or may not include elements from it. The closer to October, the better.>>284773909Don’t worry, it will only be a card. If you’re really sure about not receiving piping hot Tagalog cuisine…
>>284774159My guy didn't put any initials or anything in the gift. My santa didn't have any initials and my anon didn't put his zip so I feel worried on both accounts.
>>284774658>If you want, you can include your wishlists and the next card may or may not include elements from it. The closer to October, the betterThanks, will send a reminder with my wishlist around that time. Happy Hanukkah and Merry Christmas anon. You folks are bringing joy to this extremely serious Secret Santa event held on a Kazakhstani yurt interior design forum.
>>284774658I just emailed you after you posted this, should I reply with a wishlist now or is it more fun for you guys if I leave it in god's hands?
>>284774762>>284774774You can send a wishlist now if you want, or wait until next year around the time for signups since there may be new anime or manga you want to include. It’ll be a suggestion, not a definite though, so don’t be upset if whatever you listed doesn’t end up on the card.
>>284774658Will you deliver to a US PO box?
>>284774822Yep.
>>284774579>well-made plushieThat's a stretch. But I'm doing good. How are your trees?
>>284766773>>284767274same exact boat, though for me its mainly USPS fucking shit up and having delays, but the anon i got hasnt posted anything either...
>>284766773anon most people travel during the holidays they might not even be home to pick it up
>>284764808I'm very glad you liked it! I still enjoyed S2 even if I preferred her as a psycho. And I'd be lying if her as a useless hag isn't very cute. Your stuff was really well made, it's stood up well these years, especially the lighter. Using the engraver is definitely very fun, I didn't use the paint method but the kind of milky white look on the glass was achieved by using wet paper towel wrapped around it under a CO2 laser. It was a lot of fun to learn, so thanks for inspiring me! I wish I had time to properly varnish the diorama but otherwise I'm pretty happy with it.I have some information to send to you via the Santas, but I'll probably contact them in the next few days or so. Merry Christmas and have a lovely New Year!
the post Christmas blues are kicking in now.another year come and gone faster than the one before it.
>>284775116I am with you brother. 12 more months until we can have fun together...
Can I send my anons valentine day cards, or is that getting too creepy?
>>284775285Way too creepy.
>>284775285>"Honey, who is this Valentine's card from?"In the off chance that your anon is married or having a GF, nice job causing a divorce or a break anon.
>>284775285PLEASE send me a valentine card. In complete seriousness I think one of the greatest joys in life is to look forward to something coming in the mail that's not a bill. I really, really like getting things in the mail, it's not even a loneliness thing.
>>284775295>>284775358I was implying an anime-themed card of their waifu or husbando, but I guess it is a bit too much.
>>284775285>>284775451Nah definitely not too much. I've given and received v/a/lentine's cards in the past and it was fun times all around.
>>284775488>I've given and received v/a/lentine's cards in the pastWhere does one sign up for this?
>>284775285I have gotten Valentines/TY cards from my anons. It was nice.
>>284775285One year an anon promised me he'd send an additional card for vday but never delivered so it made me sad.
>>284775521Oh it's not like a formal sign-up or anything. I sent my gift s/a/nta a v/a/lentine's card one year as thanks, and another year someone did the same for me.
>>284775285everyone telling you know is a newfag. The tricky part is properly investing your energy into the anon's who reciprocate the consistency of your letters, NOT the emotional intensity.
I am so glad I never went to bed!
>>284775605I'd love to do this but I don't know if people would enjoy it. I also Toss the envelopes from those who have mailed me things out because keeping it feels creepy in a way. Owari da.
>>284773845I’ll take oneThis is for 2026? I’ll send an email now and again next year
>2026 is going to have at least 8 people posting jew wojak cards from Toronto
>>284775698You don't keep a giant spreadsheet with intricate details about everyone that's sent you things?Just me? oh...
>>284775436I would send a valentine card but I'm afraid of this happening>anon has since moved away>new occupants at the address>by some coincidence has the same initials as the anon who left>this unaware civilian opens card>gets weeb anime valentine>reports return addressee to authorities for lewd and lascivious conduct
>>284776181Post throwaway email, I'm serious. Are you?
>>284776103I’ve gotten many anons who are happy to receive/ make cards again and I genuinely don’t remember them, Im sorry.
LG of TX sorry for the long wait, I was busy dealing with family stuff and cooking. I was pretty surprised to find out that we're a mirror match, this is my first time swapping gifts with my target. Thank you so much for the amazing gifts! I really love getting stuff from some more recent series that I liked, it's like you read my mind somehow. I'm a little afraid to start building the Zaku II, but goddamn it looks so cool, even the box. I'll find some nippers soon and pray that my hands are steady enough for the task. I honestly didn't expect to get the Buc-ee's beaver too, it's so cute! And thank you so much for the beaver nuggets, I never thought I would be able to have a single one ever again, so I'm glad that you live in Texas. Everything I got is nicely varied and I love it a lot. I share with you the pain I had with the tariffs, I got blindsided by them too this year.Thank you so much for the figures and the great snack, I'm gonna enjoy putting them up (the Zaku might take some time).Merry Christmas anon, I wish for only the best for you in the new year. Thank you so much!
>>284776079Not even gonna bother reading the threads next year and just gonna search my initials in the archive once in a while, the quality has already taken a crazy nosedive this year alone. The endless baiting and samefagging (which probably goes way beyond toronto) has managed to take the whimsy out of what used to be the best part of my Christmas. Jannies care more about making more money off fewer users or clamping down on ecchi than making a desirable place to browse, to the point even December /a/ is falling off. I guess there's still r/a/dio (which is still very fun) but activity for that cratered too judging by the threadcounts..
>>284775285Just do it anon, it's fun sending cards!
>>284776446Your post reeks of the exact stuff you're complaining about. Outside of the Toronto card that got posted, there wasn't anything egregious in any of the threads and everyone was the same as usual, posting about what to do for cards and gifts and buyfagging. What do you expect the moderation staff to do about that? Are you sure you haven't just lost your sense of whimsy?
>>284745883 MK from AB Merry Christmas! Thank you for the many gubbins, the always lovely card and the excellent treats. I hope you had a good again time again this year during your mysterious journeys around Japan. I'll work on watching some more shows and adding to my wishlist for next time if we get paired up again! Sorry for the delayed response and my devious phoneposting in the thread (fingers crossed I got my spoilers right), I'm a little occupied with other Christmas festivities. Got my lovely new shirt on though, and took a picture with the other various things earlier in the day.
Sorry for the delay, anons. I completely missed the last few threads since it was decided at the last minute that I'd be hosting Christmas for my family this year due to shenanigans. Festivities are finally over and everybody has gone home, so it's time to finally post the cards and gift I received! I am also very inebriated right now so bear with me hereFirst up is RS of IA. Cool to see you again; I knew your drawings looked familiar! Victorique is adorable as always, and I love the Maetel drawing. And holy shit, you really spoiled me with keychains. I think I'm gonna start using keychains I get to decorate my tree, so this'll definitely fill it out.>Galaxy Express 999I would agree that this is a great time of year to start Galaxy Express 999. IMO you'll burn out quickly if you try to binge it, but watching a few episodes a day is a really good way to unwind and a good palate cleanser after a day of watching modern anime. Thanks a bunch and Merry Christm/a/s!
>>284776446relax bro, you are taking this nepalese yak whisperers network too seriously
>>284776520based
Next up is a card from RL of WA. I recognize that WorldWIDE shipping stamp anywhere; you gave me an incredible gift last year....And an incredible card this year. A cute Beatrice, and an extremely cute Ruri. I really gotta expand my vocabularlyI'm really glad you enjoyed Ruri no Houseki too. Damn good cast like you said, and yes, just a really good-looking anime in general too.>Shadows HouseNext year for sure...Appreciate the candy and hot chocolate. I actually got some milk candy from a card anon last year too, and it was surprisingly tasty. I'll probably end up saving the hot chocolate for new ye/a/r's r/a/dio.>Piece of quartzNow this is pretty damn neat! I'd love to be a rock gremlin too, but I'm not even sure where I'd start. Can't recall if I mentioned it in my card wishlist but there's a dried up creek next to where I live that I like to take walks at, and ever since watching Ruri I've been fantasizing about finding cool rocks in it. Might have to look into getting more serious about it.Thanks for the card and all the goodies, /a/non. It was good to hear from you again. Hope you had a good Christm/a/s!
>>284776446No, it's actually just the canadian schizos.Yes, they are THAT deranged.Getting people to disengage with the event is their goal so if you want to play right into their hands instead of participating and ignoring their obvious posts, then go right ahead. Jannies and mods have always been gay retards but I also don't get everyone's obsession with growth metrics on a hobby site.
Here's one from Tofu of FL.Jeez, you sure you didn't send me your gift recipient's stuff by mistake? This is a lot of stuff... You really went above and beyond with the presentation, too; I love that Amelia stamp on the envelope.>Struggle with drawing cute girlsCould've fooled me, cause Victorique turned out pretty incredible. Those are some damn clean cuts. No way that's all with an xacto knife, is it? Love how you incorporated the tea candle too; you're giving me some cheeky ideas for my own cards next year. I also have the same pack of patterned cardstock that you used>Fellow innawoods enjoyerHell yeah love me some woods. I've been wandering the woods around here since I was kid so I'm probably biased, but I quite like it. I honestly don't see anything too crazy when I go for walks, but it's relaxing and I like hearing the wildlife. I've been to Florida once and couldn't stand the humidity, but the swamps and wildlife were really cool; we don't really have anything like them up here. Hope you get better soon so you can get back innawoods.>Candy>Socks>Ornament>Cool tiny flamingo (not pictured)Anon you're seriously spoiling me here, holy shit. Can't believe I finally got some socks from secret s/a/nta, and from a card no less. The ornament is pretty slick. Seriously, how do you make these look so clean? Thanks for the beautiful card and all this cool shit, /a/non. Hope you had wonderful Christm/a/s too!
go tell your family you love them this holiday. I know a lot us are similar and don't speak our true feelings. I'm visiting my family right now and my grandpa's mental state has declined so much he's not really there now, I wish I had told him I loved him more back when he understood me and I don't want you guys to go through the same
>>284776446sorry that you're getting samefagged in the replies, anon
>>284776590What exactly is their master plan? This year they didn't even get into the event and sent Christmas cards. This is actual fearmongering.
Santa of CA thank you for the card! I loved seeing that I got a PC-98 2hu card. If I make it back to Japan I would definitely love to spend time in rural areas, the furthest I got from cities was Kuramayama and surrounding area. It was surprising to me how quickly things start looking more rural as you exit a city by train.
And finally, the gifts I received from EL of CA, with a cute Puniru and a comfy Dungeon Meshi scene to complement it all. Thanks for putting up with my word vomit of a wishlist. I genuinely enjoy getting essays from /a/nons so I try to return the favor, but I realize not everyone feels the same way.>There were a lot of first episodes to watchYou have all my respect for actually going through the entire list. Glad you ended up liking some of the shows. I really love Dantalian's setting, and Princess Principal has a nice hook that keeps you at least a little intrigued IMO.>Nagi is the bestAnd your card was off to such a good start...Even though >artbooks are a meme in these threads now, I still love 'em. They make great coffee table books. I'd heard about Kui's before but haven't read it yet and I had no idea Apothecary Diaries had one, though I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Looking forward to sitting down and reading both of these this weekend. And holy shit, it's knife-ears herself! Did you sculpt this by hand? I didn't do a good job capturing them in the picture, but the details are seriously impressive, especially in the hair. You said you've got other items on the way, which is crazy to think about because this is already above and beyond what I'd expect. You clearly put a lot of work into anything. Thanks for everything, /a/non. I'm pretty bad at expressing my thanks and being drunk probably makes me ramble more than I should, but I really do appreciate it.I hope you had a great Christm/a/s!
>everyone I disagree with is a troll and is the same fagYou guys need to start accepting that there are people with different opinions and tastes than you. Merry Christmas.
(>>284765196 sorry for the delay!)Thank you KN of Canada for the incredible wooden card and little diorama of the Secret Society BLANKET! Just seeing the little light flicker makes me dream of doing some winter camping! It's super cute and really well done.I'm sorry to tell you I'm not your /ss/ gifter though, as I only signed up for cards.
>>284776712That would give too much power to the shitposters.
>>284776591So glad you got everything! My first year doing ss a card anon sent me a huge care package and it really left a mark on me so ever since I enjoying doing the same and spoiling my anons plus have to ship my cards as packages anyways so may as well get my money's worth. Oh and that was totally suppose to be I have a hard time drawing cute girls in frilly outfits (mostly the frilly part), I was still terribly sick finishing up cards so my brain must have turned off when I was writing the note. As for my clean cuts I'm a cheater and vector everything then use a cricut to cut it out. Actual xacto knife anons really impress me. And luckily I got out into the swamp today, pic related, couldn't do too much cause body is still recovering from sickness and surgery but it was so nice finally getting back out there. Probably will go again on Saturday! The humidity is def the worst, we tend not to go out in the summer due to it and the water levels. Always happy to spoil my anons, hope Christmas went well, enjoy everything and make sure to show off those socks later hohoho and have a Happy New Year!
JL of WI thank you so much for the tasty brownies, card, and beautiful glass ornament! My little /ss/ tree is starting to finally fill out, thank you!I could only hope to reach such levels of comfiness as that Shima Rin! I'm with you on Japanese camping being jarring compared to midwestern innawoods, but if a long day hiking ended with hotsprings and home cooked meals it'd be hard to turn down.
>>284776520But did you perform the ritual? :^)
>>284776606I'm sorry that you're going though that, anon.
Sorry it took all day for me to post, but thank you so much to BR of CA for the gift this year! I love it! First of all, I love the origami paper, because I always need more. I was a bit of a late start, and began folding in 2023(?) where I decided that it'd be cool if I folded a senbazuru (1000 cranes.) I completed that, and I've just kinda stuck with it since. I'll also say that I've never thought about there being specific containers for the paper. Right now, I just have all of mine in a stack, but it makes perfect sense to have something a bit more "contained" for them. Your card also turned out super cool, the velvet is such a nice and fitting touch. It's a shame you couldn't find too many references for Mina. Unfortunately, it seems like the show is slowly becoming "that one where you see her nipples" for more than a handful of people, so I think it's slowly slipping into forgotten territory. That's just how things go, I suppose. I do think your drawings of Himari and Neko inside are super cute too, I really like the way you draw.>one of a kind plushI would have never guessed that this was custom is you never mentioned it! She looks so good, and I'll have to find a cool place to hang her. It was a show that surprised me with how much I enjoyed it, so I'm happy to see more of her. Likewise, the Junna acrylics are so cool too! I say it a bit in jest, but Junna's character progression was very similar to one I had to go through myself, so that's why I feel so connected to her. It is always very poignant when you can, genuinely, relate to a character in a series. I'll have to find a cool place to set these up too so that I can always get a good look at them. The 2k limit always feels much too small for what I have to say, man. I never feel like I have enough space to talk about it all. Regardless, I love everything that you've got for me, and I hope that you have a very merry Christmas yourself! (and expect another card some time in Jan)
I think what's worse than not getting your stuff posted is not having people reply to your thank you posts
JH from OKThank you very much for this cute Arc! You drew her hair wonderfully and gave her an adorable expression, so I will live without my treasured granny skirt. I am familiar with your posts, and Aki seems cute. I like your passion, you seem like a role model waifufag. If you've seen Arc in any waifu threads over the past two years that was me. I hope you have a great 2026!
MK from ABThank you for this... disagreeable card. You gave me my granny skirt but I have to ask what combination of photoshop and AI you used? I know my Arc fanart well and I don't recall that face. Now I will address your message. You clearly haven't actually read Tsukihime or are familiar with Arc's character but she is largely nocturnal and can drink blood. In fact when she does drink it she goes berserk and is absurdly powerful, powerful enough to easily tear Seras to pieces (see Ciel's route for more details). The appeal of Arc to me, someone with more taste, is that despite her immense power she has also a heart of gold and can tame the beast inside. She's a complex girl, scarily powerful and violent yet innocent and respectful. Thank you for your understanding in this matter, have a great new year.
JG from NCHoly shit I love it. This collage captures the true essence of happiness for me. Just writing this now I am giddy. It's a party and I will celebrate along! Also thanks for your VN rec, never heard of it and I'm not partial to forbidden love but that premise sounds interesting enough for me to give it a read. Anyway, I hope you have an amazing 2026 ahead of you and that you've enjoyed this holiday season.
And thank you very much for the DESU! One can never have enough.
>>284778263>but I have to ask what combination of photoshop and AI you used?Photoshop, not AI. Source image is by @omgyesiloveraye>You clearly haven't actually read Tsukihime or are familiar with Arc's character True, Stay Night is the only Moon material I've had the endurance for. But you wanted a granny-skirted mosquito so I send you a granny-skirted mosquito.
>>284778263If my anon even insinuated I used AI I would send them dog shit in the mail.
>>284771942>>284772107>Who do you think zechs is based on ????????Me, Char is literally me
Genuine question, has anyone spotted an ai card yet?
>>284778512How DARE you be unfamiliar with the deep autistic lore of your card anons waifu. How DARE you draw her enjoying christmas in a cute very detailed and impressively drawn dress. How DARE you make the hat purple you should know that anons waifu only wears brown!Card and Dress looks good anon don't let Mr grumpy pants get you down
>>284768639Sign up next year and forward it to someone who will appreciate it. Also you will be tortured in hell for 100000 years for posting this.
>>284778263Actually after rereading it i think this is a case of sarcasm not coming through well in text. I think this anon is being ironic in his simpsons comic book guy critique
>>284776527Good to hear from you again, anon. I'm glad that you liked the card and the key-chains. I got some time off coming here in the next week, so I think I will take your suggestion and start watching Galaxy Express 999. I'll watch at a normal pace like you said.Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year!
I wish the age of technology hadn't killed physical mail. I love letters so much
Anon from South Africa, I just got your card! Our epic battle with DHL is over, thank you! Also, sorry. I just woke up, I have a million different things to do and I have no time to make a proper collage or write and extended response. I'll do that on the next thread, I promise! Thank you, and see you later!
>>284779142*an extended responseAlso album anon, please don't include this picture. Wait until I make the official collage on the next thread.
>>284778982I assumed it was a somewhat autistic attempt at banter in response to something written in the card. It works fine even through a written medium, but you can't take it too far and insult the card and person itself, because at that point it stops being banter and actually becomes offensive. I'd be a little sad if I was the anon that sent that card.
>>284778263>>284778982>>284779250I'd like to think that>to me, someone with more tastemakes it clear to the anon that it was all in good fun, but I too am some bum rando chiming in and seeing this anon comment about this very nice card he got
Thank so you so so much MO from CA for the gifts! You actually guessed Barkhorn right as my favorite Strike Witches girl, so that worked out pretty darn well!Merry Christmas to y'all!(Hope that you enjoyed your own stuff!)
>>284777908Should I reply even if I see no follow-up question or a hook to continue the conversation? As in if that anon writes something like "Thank you for the card, it was cute," should I reply with "Thank you for thanking me, glad you enjoyed it?"I'm autistic, please understand. I don't like posting if I feel like my post carries no extra information
>>284753300holy cute
>>284777347So happy you liked it!When I read that you liked origami, I remembered these neat storage boxes. I was a lil on the fence on the origami stuff, I almost didn’t even included it, since I figured you’d have a lot, but I’m glad I went with it.Idk if you remember I mentioned having smol PTSD with origami, when I thanked you for your card. While I did get a lil impatient making the crane, the thing that broke me was trying to make this humanoid crane creature. It appeared on my tl shortly after I got your wishlist, and I thought it would be a funny addition. Well, I couldn’t even get thru half the 40min video before I got lost in the myriads of folds. I overestimated my abilities, and failed. The velvet paper is what made me lock in on a Mina card, I thought it was a good fit as well. IIRC the outfits I ended up liking the most, only had like half of it showing and I think I was just semi winging at some point. Maybe I should’ve watched that anime instead, but I went with Tasokare Hotel, for the plushie’s sake. It was fun making the custom merch. The shop ended up taking twice the production time and had me worried, but it was all worth it.Thank you for your kind words and Happy New Year! Looking forward to you card!
>>284779382Of course, and then your anon thanks you for thanking him and so on, until the thread dies. it’s common courtesy.
>>284779607
>>284779582Thank you for the thanking protocol description. Merry Christmas!
>>284776729damn this is cool
Past day. From a past time.
>>284779142How did you do it, how did you beat the corporate office of DHL so that i may get my mail.
>>284781188Thread is about to get shadow realm'd, I'll tell you on the new one!
>>284781188he sent them for a hunt of Circular B-65
>>284757092Holy moly that watch
>>284781290Don't you mean Circular A-38?
