Onto the big gift, I love the Afro Gunso! He's so goofy looking I can't hate him, and the Aki print on his back is cute too, for a first time he's great. Keep working on those skills, anon I'm glad I got him.
The card is really lovely too, I love the angel with the ghost girl and the frogs all resonating is cute. I'm glad you got into the show now as well, especially with the huge boom of new stuff coming out next year (A movie, a stage musical, and a new anime!? Melli Kurisumasu and thanks for the two figures and the card! I know the Maomao is the cheaper fig but it’s still the one I’m more drawn to. There’s something weirdly heartwarming about a know-it-all daughter who is completely oblivious to how much she takes from her dad. The twist in their relationship at the end of the first season floored me in a way few shows ever have.
The bocchi card is very endearing and was certainly more polished than the card I sent, I’ll make sure to never forget it the same way I’ll never forget my super bocc. though calling my 2014 newfag-ass a nostalgic oldfag for my list is crazy when I had four shows from this year and edgerunners on there lmao

I don't know how you managed to snag a copy of the lain artbook, SEALED mind you. I've actually had my eyes on this for several years but it is quite difficult to find. It feels like you probed my mind and pulled the perfect thing. I actually had no idea (or maybe I forgot) that there was a panty and stocking manga, so I'm very excited to give this a read later! The candies look intersesting and I've never heard of them, looking forward to trying the King Bing one the most. Rei will sit nicely on a shelf I have, and she will have company in the form of (different) Rei figures. I really like the shirt, but after trying it on I found that it is ever slightly too big, so I'm hoping it will shrink on first wash. If it doesn't that's okay though because I'll sometimes wear things a bit loose for a comfortable fit.

I did read your letter, and please trust me when I say don't worry about it. I think the programmer socks would have been incredibly funny, and there are definitely people who would have loved to see them worn, but life happens and there's always next year. I appreciate you saying that you thought I had amazing taste, I think so as well but some anons disagree. Texhnolyze is downloaded already and ready to watch, but like you said, shit sucks when you get old and don't have as much time before. I will grab Black Lagoon likely in the coming months, I have a lot of other shows I plan to watch around the new year. As far as the card goes, it's fine. You're more than welcome to send me a card later in the year if you feel guilty about it or something but really it's daijoubu.

You were reading my mind when picking these Grande Scale FAGs, weren't you? Excellent choice. I'm looking forward to building these, and luckily I have some time until the end of the year. Just seeing them makes me want to rewatch their anime, too.
I also like the Konoha figure a lot. It's nice to have something of her in her regular outfit rather than a bunny suit, even if it's a prize figure. The Shiro figure's cute, too. I'll make some space for her on my desk.
I'll have to take a closer look at the artbook later, but I did find a fitting Christmas illustration in there. And Gothloli-sama's ass being in a bath/pool or coming out of it, more than once. Whew.

Glad you liked it. I wish I had more time to do some cleaning up of the details, but I think it turned out alright all things considered. As for the trees, keep in mind that they might turn brown at some point over the first year, but that doesn't necessarily mean they're dead. They might not all make it, but that's why there's 3. Great figure selection, Pop Up Parade alway looks surprisingly nice. Yoko's design is iconic and the pose is great too. Problem with this figure is that you can't have her boobs and butt facing you at the same time. It's quite the dilemma.

Time to post my card and my gift. First, the card from ARP, from ES.
We see each other again, man. Sorry for not answering until now, but I wanted to wait until Christmas.
Thank you for the Koishi drawing. She is, truly, a cutie patootie. Don't worry about the manga. I am just happy you could participate this year (and from what I have been gauging, you have sent a shit load of cards).
Yes, I like Touhou. I truly got into it last year, some time after signing up for my first secret s/a/nta, hence the lack of it in my last wish list. I had played some of the games and had browsed /jp/ before but I didn't really understand most of its story. Then I started watching Komeiji Koishi's Heart-Throbbing Adventure, then got into the doujin scene, be it music, manga, and oh God, Cookie... it has been quite the discovery for me, and a meaningful one at that.
I have played the main games 6 to 10 and 20. So no SA KEK. I am not a gamer, really, so I still play casually and only sometimes. I did get to the last few seconds of Kanako from MoF on normal to then lose to her, and haven't managed to get that far again. Sorry for the purists, but I believe it's one of the few series quite literally designed for everyone to enjoy it in their own way.
Apart from that, I am interested in the two cards happening in the same universe, but can't imagine how would Koishi and Yuri interact with each other. I don't see them becoming good friends. It would be better if I were in both of their universes. I would like that.
I listened to the songs, too. The first one I knew already, the second one, the one from IOSYS I didn't but was fun, like all IOSYS songs are.

About your Cookie-related question: no, it's not Cookie Run, which I just discovered exists.
It's a... subculture born within the fiery realms of NND due to a Touhou voice drama released in the platform in 2013, more or less. Long story extremely short, and I know this is gonna confuse you, a gay porn meme Japanese subculture latched into the very poorly done voice drama and spawned a series of references of this voice drama, which in turn inspired several other dramas, all "based" on Touhou". It has since become a huge egregore with dozens of characters voiced by dozens of girls which have been subjected to worship but also doxxing, death threats, endless trolling. Nevertheless, it has also been the cradle for hundreds upon hundreds of videos using those characters that go from 3 minute-long over-the-top meme video to 24-episode-long existentialist series, MAD videos (including hundreds of covers of Hirasawa Susumu's songs), a few Vtubers and quite the long list of controversies. You can probably see I am quite invested by it, but anyway, many do not like Cookie or outright hate it so it's a difficult topic. I haven't actually seen or read all of T:RC so you've motivated me to restart, will be the first series I begin in the new year!
Sailor Moon definitely gets more complicated than it had any reason to be. Somewhat unpopular but I think the series gets worse the more it gets away from monster of the week and towards its space aristocracy plot in which all the side characters are written out. Hotaru's sudden babification, and even more sudden multi-stage debabification and semireincarnation confused me the first time too. They could have done something much cooler, but that being said part of SM's charm is the absurd goofiness in its storytelling. And at least she's a cute babu.
I had a really bad first impression of Chibiusa my first way through, but I quickly warmed up to her and think her hate isn't justified too.
I'd recommend checking out the anime at least, but there's no reason to commit to watching every season. With the right expectations its a very fun series to watch too!

I am in awe of your gift and the sheer effort apparent in everything! From the stickers, to the wrapping, to the effort put into the card and felt... I'm in love!!!! The felt Suika is just so damn clean and neat. If I saw this at a doujin convention, I'd buy it in an instant, it's that good! The Hibiki card too!! That's so creative! I've never seen a card like that before with the combination of translucent material. It's just such a pretty thing to keep on my bookshelf! And the ornament!!! Funny thing is, the K-On school now works as a museum, café, community centre with music classes, daycare and so on. It’s really cool you went to the OnePiece statues, I didn’t even know they did a thing with that, although it’s not much of a surprise considering how big it is there.

Thank you for the Dragon Bone card! It doesn't come across in the picture but it's got a holographic pattern on it. Might give the 3DS game a try just so I can utilize it in some way since it can read the QR codes on them. I've been tempted to get the model kits myself, but as I've always seen them while doing shopping for others I pass to keep the boxes from getting too big. It seems there were a lot of mirror matches year, huh? This is my first time swapping gifts with my recipient. I'm glad my gift from back then still brings you joy and hopefully this year's does too.
I love the sparkly Cure Dream card, using the metallic marker for the yellow accents was a great idea. Good to know you liked how batshit Milky Holmes is. Out of all the sweets you could've chosen to make, it was surprising to see you went with the infamously difficult macarons. I love lemon flavored things and they tasted great.
When I first opened the box, I thought it was one of those paper puppets, then I saw all the gears attached to it. What a cool concept! I'm curious how the Kokoro one would've looked but this was a perfect gif to go with instead. The speed and motion of the mechanism works really well for it! I think a lot of people don't even realize it's from a show and think it's just some set of dancing girls from a music video or something, but at least they've gotten a foothold in some way instead of being abandoned to time, and now I have a physical version of their legacy.

I spoke about CITY and PSG S2 in my card, but they both hit it out of the park. Imaishi in particular recaptured the magic of the original and made it seem effortless.
Ikuhara can be hit or miss, but Utena is probably his best. I'm glad you liked Revue Starlight, it looked interesting from what I saw but I bounced off it pretty hard. I'm getting a lot of your lore this year. Somehow it's fitting.
Glad you liked usuzume no hate as much as I hoped. It feels like a spiritual successor to YKK but with more of a shounen/BLAMe edge to it.

Thanks for the lovely drawings of Ruri and Phos! It may or may not be a coincidence that these two series my favorite as I have a bit of that rock autism. I indeed have read all 108 chapters of Ichikawa's wild ride. The fact that the last JP chapter was released to coincide with that comet makes me think that she's playing some sort of 4D chess and that the PS5 was merely all part of her master plan.

I love the Maser Beam Tank, I've actually wanted one for a while but hadn't got around to looking for one yet. The Gundam set is super cool too. I love kits with cool gimmick parts and lots of moving pieces, and this one has a lot. The new nippers were also very necessary. I LOVE the keychain! Anything of my waifu is the best to receive since official merch is virtually nonexistent.
Your card was also great and I love that it was two pieces. It makes it easy to display your super cute drawing.
Godzilla vs. Destoroyah is easily in the top 5 if not top 3 Godzilla movies objectively speaking. So good taste there. I will take a moment to shill the animated Godzilla trilogy (Planet of the Monsters) since it's one of my favorites that doesn't get much love. If you can get over the animation style, it's actually a pretty good set of movies and the Mothra twins are super cute.
For Yu-Gi-OH! I would definitely recommend watching GX and 5D's. Both are really good and 5D's is unironically the peak of the series despite the memes. The series afterwards are okay, but aren't really worth it unless you're really into it. Also Dark Side of Dimensions is a really cool movie if you haven't seen that.
Strike Witches has some ecchi to it, but it's more yuri-bait in my opinion than actual yuri. There's not really any explicit romance just some playful groping and lots of fan service. Sanya and Eila are just really good friends who sometimes hold hands!

Quilt Anon this is of the highest quality: A Queen-size with an 8-color gradient, lore-accurate spell card representation, cozy underside, and very breathable! You don't need Ol' Billy to sell these to people. I wanted some bedding as a gift to myself this year, but I think this is perfect! Hi Anon! First off, I wanted to say that the envelope you made is freaking amazing. The wax seal, stickers, and Kongo's dome stamps are really nice touches. I really like the Bondrewd-shaped card, it's a very creative design. The fact that you managed to fit everything you wanted to say in one shot, in marker means you are a braver soul that I. You're right that the Buddhism aspect of HnK is where the series really stands out. Ichikawa's usage of it to tell such a compelling story is just amazing. The doodles of Tenchou, Serufu, and maid Mokocchi are really cute too. The good news is that the glass made it in one piece! Knowing the postal service's rep, it's practically a Christmas miracle! The painting you did on it is actually really amazing. A shame that only Leo and Shark were released along Dragon from the good guys, feels like this line was doomed from day one. The kit is a nice build but got a ton of stickers. The best thing about it is that it scales well with 1/12 figures (bad old pic related) if you ever feel like going for it and find one at a reasonable price.

Oh those poor macarons ;.; they were much prettier before postal services. Good that they were still edible, I should've used a less delicate icing recipe and clamshell packaging. Lessons learned there. If you ever feel like trying to make them yourself they weren't quite as imtimidating as I had thought and lemon was definetely the best flavor option.
That little whimsical Kiruminzoo automaton was really so much fun to design. It was something I had been wanting to try for a while but needed the proper motivation for. I'm thinking of making the rest of the cast now.

The board I did myself, I tried out this thing called scorch paint, which is basically just a paint that burns when hit with a heat gun. So it's basically a hack for wood burning something like this. I really should start listing my favorite 2hus since I don't typically get any anons who care to ask, but you managed to pick a good one! even if I haven't gotten around to playing her game yet. Anyway, the watch is insane. I tried to get a photo that showed off the inlays a bit better, but it was kind of hard to avoid the glare. By far, and likely will forever be, the coolest thing I have ever received. Took longer than I would admit to figure out the crown but the movement works fine. I haven't worn any of my watches in years, but maybe I'll have to start taking this one out on special autistic occasions. How are you making the faces? Really glad you like it! The dial process looks something like this:
-Create the artwork in Inkscape, print on transparency
-Cut blank out of brass and clean
-Laminate dry film photoresist onto blank
-Expose photoresist with blank sandwiched between artwork in glass frames
-Develop photoresist in dilute washing soda
-Etch with ferric chloride, probably going to switch to cupric chloride going forward. Your dial started saturating the etchant which resulted in the center hole and date window getting a bit messed up, but was better than the first attempt (shown in image)
-Clean/polish, solder on dial feet (spoiler: I fucked this up and yours are attached with adhesive. I scratched a shitpost about this on the back of the dial; the etched guides were flipped vertically and I missed that until it was time to case the watch. Gomen I didn't have time to correct this, but if anyone ever services this they'll know my mistake)
-Etch with 50/50 HCL/water for a short time prior to plating
-Dip in the forbidden gatorade for nickel plating (nickel acetate plating solution)
-Polish the positive lines
-Very carefully fill the cavities with acrylic paint, applied with a tiny syringe
-Clean up any spillover with a brass knife to make sure the positive lines stay bright. Nickel is harder than brass, so isn't damaged easily.
-Put dial on movement, put hands on, case and regulate.
I'm working on doing glass enamel instead of paint, but that requires buying a kiln. My previous ones from last years have been cut and layered cardstock dials. I usually do a clock too, but this took longer than anticipated so I hope Aya makes up for it. Play STB; it's fun. Ayayaya

It was a Christmas miracle I went outside and saw the card laying on my porch it must have come late last night. I love the Lilly and the heart joke on the inside of the card is great.
I think my favorite anime of the year is either let this grieving soul retire, or Anne Shirley.
Grieving soul reminds me of konosuba and my little sister has been trying to get me to watch the old Anne of green Gables movies for years. Now i can tell her i know the story haha.
Ruri rocks was also great im surprised at how popular it ended up being.
I am looking forward to 29-sai Dokushin Chuuken Boukensha no Nichijou next season. I liked what i read of the manga.
Best azumanga girl is Kagura hands down. Mostly because i have a thing for one piece swimsuits. Going through pubertywhile on a competitive swim team does things to a guys brain let me tell you.

Glad you like it! If you have iPhone, you have to use app like NFC Tools to read the text inside (when I was designing the whole thing I used a chip that does not support Apple's Core NFC spec, but will work with additional app, my mistake, didn't know this at the time). The lights work better when the iPhone is at an angle for some reason. Next year I'll fix this and add some extra thingies for sure.
I was worried about the DVD, but I've checked it before, and it seems that both discs are indeed original and with no errors, so ripping should work just fine.

I think next year I'm going to sign up as an alias for cards with a name like "Badtaste Brandon" or something similar and ask for cards of objectively bad shows that most of us enjoyed when we were teenagers or somewhat new to anime. Shit like Elfen Lied, Naruto, D-Grayman, Dragonball Z, Gaia online etc. A lot of us are in our 30's, and I think this would be a fun opportunity to really relive our youth and remember when fun things were fun.

My trip to Japan was good, but also kind of stressful, because I speedran Japan in two weeks. But I did enjoy Hiroshima/Miyajima. Kyoto is also worth visit, but really depends on the time of the visit for avoiding crowds. Also went to a horseracing event as a Umamusume enjoyer. The majority of the gifts I purchased are in Nakano Broadway and Den Den town.

Glad it made it. I saw the DVD set at the used store by accident while looking for the artbook and couldn't find the other set but it was so cheap I decided to throw it in anyway. Now you get to go find the other to complete the set. I figure the tea is probably good for a while but I also found it not really that great, the big thing is the collectible sticker on the can you can pull off. Guess the santas did not inform you that the card is late and coming separate, this is my bad since some stuff came up and I couldn't get it out the door in time for international shipping. However if you ask the santas, I did take photos of the card and send it to them if you wish to view it now, otherwise you're gonna have to wait until it gets to your place.
I feel like I fucked up a bit, I had much higher hopes for what I could find in Tokyo, but it was just so many poorly sculpted prize figs and nothing interesting and practical like you'd wanted. It seems like I could have done more, so forgive me and please let me know if I can try to make it up for you somehow. I hope you have a Merry Christmas regardless!

You had a lot to pick from but I always like trying to make stuff from older shows when I can, was a great rewatch too. I really like how the background paper I picked hides the translucent portions of the card, make sure to set it up with the tea light behind so you can see it's full glory (the instructions should be in the envelope)! Postan time! I woke up just a bit ago and have now composed myself enough to update you. Thank you for going above and beyond with everything! I love them! My wife's figure is incredible and much bigger than expected when initially checking the figure out back when the sculpt was first showcased. I always manage to ruin myself financially with /ss/ and inevitably fail to go through with my winter figure preorders but it seems like the Steins;Gate remains on my side! Now my wife has poetically been brought to my side by the forces that initially kept us apart! She also created a weird motif for my desk figgies that I didn't see coming I know I never mentioned this in my wishlist but I absolutely adore plushies even though I didn't own any before so she was an amazing suprise! Also migu rabu! Will definitely love and take care of her 10/10. The book will surely see much use in the future and assist in the fulfilling of my husband duties. The timing is great too since I was getting tired of my usual repertoire. From a rudimentary look I gave it (since I'm in very much no state to cook) it seems to stay on point with minimal fluff, exactly the way I like them! Your card is great like always! It definitely and absolutely didn't fool me when I accidentally took a peek h-haha. Remembered to match the date again too, impressive. The little bow on Yunocchi was a great addition too, are those kuromi stickers? You can't believe how happy I was to see that you were my s/a/nta again this year. It seems like you put a lot of thought into everything you do during Christmas. Holy cow, I just opened the mountain of gifts you sent me and I am floored. The Youjo Senki art-book is awesome! I've already started flipping through, and I can tell you I will spend hours pouring over this. The little Hina ornament is fantastic. I Love the effort you put into making this little gremlin into an ornament. This must have taken you quite some time, and it shows! It's going to be on my Christmas tree every single Christmas from here on out. Now as to all the Fukumoto swag. It's all awesome, I love it. As soon as I opened your cracker box I saw the ざわ's greeting me and I was already laughing. The stickers will be put to good use promptly, as will the key-chains, I Think I'm going to hang them from my Christmas Tree. The poker chips are a pretty unique items, I didn't even know they made them. The Bog artwork bags are super neat too! Gotta love Kaiji.
Imagine my shock when the rattly little box ended up yielding the 4 Heavenly Kings themselves! These are going to be proudly displayed on the top of my desk from here on out. The Yuru Camp patch is really cool, I'll have to get it Velcro backed so I can slap it on my jacket or Camping bag. The little acrylic Teibou figures are very cute. I'm going to put them next to the Yuru Camp acrylic figure from 2023, which is still on my desk.
Now it wouldn't be /a/ jolly Christmas season without the traditional sock delivery. I assure you that I will wear these puppies out. It's odd how the older I get, the more I appreciate the gift of socks.

I have been meaning to start on Ruri no Houseki. I will have to now based on your recommendation. Speaking recommendations, I'm glad you gave Kurosawa a shot. It really pays off by the end of the first volume, well worth finishing. Speaking of Kurosawa, the card art is amazing. I love him in his Santa outfit. Also the threatening aura of the inner card art is fantastic. I'll be sure to wear those socks!

As were saying, thank you for spoiling me with so many different things. Seems like you can work many tools and machines, and I love that you tried a bunch of things.
For the coasters, I think Yotsuba is probably weak to heat so I'll be careful not to burn her. Actually maybe I'll just display her on a wall, It would look nice. The other two of Christmas potatoes are cute. Slate is such a beautiful material. Although I can't tell what's going on with the Nuko-bag down there. The way you drew them on the card is adorable though.
I think you did a good job with the campfire and the Dryad. With even the little flickering effect. I wonder what's the thought behind the choice of those two items.
The トトロ "acrylic stand" is cute as hell. and that's coming from a noted acrylic stand hater. I like the glass art look, will keep on my desk for sure.
I have put the magnets on my computer tower for now. It's a shame the ink smeared. It sit because of the glue ?
At that point the mugs feel like you're going beyond the call of duty. I assume they cost above the tier price point too. I'm not complaining though. I drink in mugs a lot, and I like metal ones especially. That Dungeon Meshi fanart is cute. do you have a source?

As for the snacks, well to be honest I don't like liquorice at all, sorry. Surprisingly though, I tried the super salty ones and I find them much more tolerable than sweets. It's a new flavour for sure. I didn't know Swedes were all about Liquorice.
Well it's fine, I just demolished the Almonds chocolate instead. I'll get a tummy ache tomorrow.

Good to hear my list got you to read big dawg stuff. I have a piece of crafts- related advice. For some stuff the kind of glue varnish can work, personally I'd advise using a hobby type matte topcoat spray. It'll save you much troubles.

Thank you for your card NC from CA! The drawing of my wife is cute and the little pattern of the Yamanote line on top is nostalgic, I have not ridden it in a while. (PA-san is also cute, of course) I'm glad to hear we both like gay hate sex the anime, colloquially known as Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete - it is a great show and I look forward to reading the manga. As for Gabriel Dropout, it's alright and is a nice SoL but I wouldn't specifically recommend it as a show if you don't like the genre. Samurai Flamenco, however, I will recommend no matter what. VE of Spain you should have received a tracking number for a card coming from the UK. It's been stuck in customs since December 8th, still has the status "awaiting presentation to customs". I don't know whether that simply means they haven't got to it yet, or if there's an actual problem with it. If there is an issue they should hopefully reach out to you about it. Either way, it hasn't arrived in time for Christmas so I'm really sorry about that anon. I took photos of everything, if you want me to post them just let me know.

The candy is also appreciated, as I am fat and like eating things. As for the card it may be a repeated joke but as a Shadowverse player it made me laugh my ass off, we post an edited version every expansion. I only watched the Space Cobra anime so I had no idea the manga was the original source until right now, wild. Would rec the anime, it was really fun and the music is jazzy as fuck.
