In the first place UU isn't even the kind of series where you need to go crazy on the animation, but it does need to have good pacing and more dynamic direction since most of the fights have so much talking, to the point that they become weird if you don't nail it. David does a great job with Jojo, another series with very talkative fights, but it doesn't show here. Again, it's a miracle that UU even has an anime adaptation to begin with, but it's just not a very good one.
