You could say that for any mystery/detective show, early on in Detective Conan only 1 or 2 people died per case, but then they started killing 3 or more, which was dumb as all the killers always felt the need to murder a bunch of people after they meet the detectives/cops, American live action mystery shows did the same, the X-Files usually had at least 4 people killed per episode
