>decided to watch the prequel Washio Sumi's Chapter today because I felt nostalgic for this type of early 2010s dark magical girl show
>still remember the general plot and who the characters were in the original series, so I should be fine
>get to the last episode
>"Holy shit, Sumi was Togo the wheelchair girl from S1 before losing her memory, what a twist!"
>turns out this is barely an actual twist because Sonoko does appear in the original series and calls Togo "Wasshi" like she does in the prequel
Did anyone have this kind of experience with a specific series?
