I liked it, but it was a little uncomfortable. It makes sense for the Colors to be running around their town having misadventures because they're little kids and we know they have happy homes to come back to. Much less so for these grown teenage runaways. It puts a very dark angle on the whole premise which I can't help but think about.

You can write around the terrible thing but it's always there in the background. This isn't quite that extreme but it's only a few steps removed.I guess the readership and sales numbers speak for themselves. A veneer of wholesomeness over something dark doesn't appeal to people the way genuine wholesomeness like Colors and Bocchi does.
