I was shocked to learn how popular this series was in the past. It used to ousell Monogatari, Mahouka, Oregairu, Durarara, and at its peak was comparable to SAO… only to receive 13 anime episodes of questional quality.

Well it was a series of very popular vocaloid songs first and had a few spinoffs. Now it's in legal hell since the company that owned IA (who required himto use her for some songs) owns all the rights to the franchise
