Call me brainlet but I just finished reading Cell saga and still don't understand what Cell is.
What ARE the Jinzo/Androids?
What IS Cell?

The Androids Cell seeks to absorb are cyborgs. Cyborgs are humans modified with technology. People in real life with pacemakers are technically cyborgs.
Cell is a lifeform created in a lab using DNA from various different beings somehow.

The Androids up to 16 and 19 and 20 are actual androids. 17 and 18 are cyborgs, ordinary humans that Gero kidnapped and enhanced.

Cell was made from the DNA of Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Frieza, and King Cold

They are all experiments in order to create a perfect being to replace the flawed human race.
Androids up to 16 were fully mechanical.
16 and 18 were humans enhanced with techonology
19 and 20 were basically Robocop
Cell is when Gero went "fuck it, cybernetics can't replace or enhance humans properly, might as well scratch the whole thing and design a new being from scratch"
