It's frankly insulting especially when you think about the better characters around him. Beyond punching harder he didn't even try to cause any of the necessary changes in society. Which by itself is just one last symptom of Hori's main problem - complete lack of sense of scale and pacing. The manga has, without exaggeration, a completely bipolar approach to it's narrative.
