I've never seen anything after original Yu-Gi-Oh! In my unbiased opinion aside from #1, #3 and #6 also look cool. #2 is probably cool but I can't be certain from this angle.#4 and #7 look like kids so they can't be cool. The latter looks like he's still in fucking middle school. #5 looks like he could have the potential to be cool. #8 doesn't look determined or serious, he's just standing there like a passive supporting character (such as non-Yami Bakura) so he doesn't look cool.

The foundation of 5D's part 1 ideas with signers and dark signers was him, but he was more non-specific and general with Zexal besides the very basic starting idea (far future metropolis with dimensional beings)
