Did you ever fall for any anime or manga memes or misconceptions?I genuinely thought the series ended with Deku working at McDonalds, it just made perfect sense for me.
>>284831701i have never read one piece because of the cringe youtubers shilling it but i just assume it falls off post timeskip
>>284831701I believed the memes that Shokugeki no Souma became terrible when El Padre showed up. In reality while the story did get worse, it was not unsalvageable and only plummeted to unreadable levels towards the end.
>>284832186Yeah, El Hermano was the actual killing blow
>>284831701Just finished the last episode. Deku deserved better and got better. It was all trolling. Fuck these idiots.
>>284831701Thought that Gohan El Blanco was a real thing because Super was so dogshit and introducing so many new forms at near random, that why wouldn't Gohan get a new form that nobody else has.AND THEN HE LITERALLY BECAME GOHAN EL BLANCO IN THE FUCKING SUPER HERO MOVIE
A lot for me when I finished SnK>Eren turned into a literal birdHe didn’t, it was just symbolic >Armin became a pacifist He didn’t, nuked Liberio and was willing to use the rumbling to crush Marley’s army>EH was realIt was never a thing in the manga, and just a crackship headcanon people made up
>>284831701you should stop watching every series when it starts pandering to gay shippers. Bakugo should have died in season 3 or something. That's how you save this anime
>>284831887It falls off hard because of the pacing. If they cut the episode count of each story arc after that in half it would be fine. They also skip the "on the decks of the world" shit which is aggravating because I looked forward to it every arc.
>>284831701He became a teacher which in this day and age is basically the same as becoming a mcdonalds wagie
>>284834881>Mythical Cope Art: Third World Projection.
>>284835002>Third WorldIt's the same here in the US and I bet it's the same in Japan
>>284835264Which country do you think I meant?
>>284835264>my country is a shithole so I bet everywhere else must be the sameI couldn't make a more disparagning caricature of burgerthink if i tried.
>>284835264How much do you bet?
>>284834881>>284835264We see his new class and they appear to be your average anime schoolkids, not brainfried shartyzoomers. Why do you bring what are clearly your real life experiences into a fictional setting when everything it shows clearly contradicts them.
>>284835622That was made AFTER the last chapter as damage control.
>>284835883I have a "it was damage control" fatigue. Come up with new material.
>>284831701I thought this was Guts story when in reality it's Griffiths story. Also I was surprised he did nothing wrong.
>>284835883his story ending this way is almost poetic, a perfect cautionary tale of what not to be.
>>284836574Right? Its even presented as a threat with "you're next!"I think its a fitting cautionary tale for a wimp crybaby who never strives for anything on his own
It makes sense for him to end up a quirkless loser. Imagine not just Ochunks but all the 1-A girls moving through high school, college, and going into the work world interacting with the male equivalents of prime Midnight every day. Physically enhanced supermen with vibration quirks that turn them into living dildos or dudes with natural 12 inch horse cocks and elasticity quirks that turn any pussy into their perfectly shaped onahole. People talk about how the olympiad village is a fuckfest of the top quality, athletic youth running on hormones and pure animalistic instinct.now imagine that times 10 in a world where you have a society thats a combination of the most famous celebrities, highest performing athletes, and adrenaline pumping thrills of law enforcement and war, and throw in superhuman/magic/demi-god like abilities. It's frankly a glaring plothole how there ISN'T any mention of the constant hero orgies or how little of the pedigree breeding subculture there is. Endeavor is literally what every quirked family on the planet would be doing on the regular with multiple partners. So now imagine after 8 years of this primal existence of hyper intelligent virile cavemen fucking and fighting each other, that a Goddess in plump flesh like Ochako would go back to a whimpering simp cuckold meatlet like Dequirk. You'd have a better time convincing a swan to fuck a maggot.
Thank god I never touched ntr.
>>284831701i did
>>284831701i got told that gundam is this deep drama about war but is no deeper than naruto's pain arc
>>284831701NGL, I fell for this one longer than I should have.
>>284831701As someone who read the manga all the way through, that’s not how it ends? I lost track when the final war had the 15 issues back to back to back with mindless incomprehensible fighting between characters I didn’t remember ending in messy splash pages of people I don’t know smile crying in the rubble
>>284831887See, that is a misconception. It actually falls off before the timeskip.
>>284832616and don't forget>eren died for nothinghis friends got peaceful lives, that's what he always wanted, not the retarded headcanon about achieving peace after killing everyone when the manga tells you multiple times that conflict will continue even if there is only two people left on earthidiots got effectively exposed as massive retards by that extra chapter
>>284831701how did it end?
>>284831701But he did>noooo being an office worker is somehow better than working at mcdonalds
>>284835622Alright buddy, show us the page of Deku and Ochako children.
>>284831701it's funny that this small banter made people now exaggerate the contrary, that he is a super rich guy because he has a car in the last episode (?) either the fandom is THAT childish or they are just as retarded as the people they complain about
>>284839698cmon anon, that's a low blowyou know he can't without Minetas approval
>>284832186The problem for me was never Azami, it was Central. If I had to pinpoint where the series started truly going downhill, it was probably the Souma vs Eizan shokugeki where Souma wins a literal rigged match (with the secret ingredient being fucking ketchup). After that is where the entire plot just became Central. But at least it was readable until we started getting shit like pic related.
>>284839821Is obviously some hardcore fanboy coping and trying to change the zeitgeist in vain, literally hoping for Horikoshi to throw more breadcrumbs at him...
For several series I thought certain characters were a couple due to seeing a lot of out of context fanart beforehand only to realize later it was just shippers.
>>284839316The last chapter of the manga shows him being a teacher 10 years later, then his classmates give him a surprise and gift him an Iron Man suit so that he can go back to being a hero. The memes started because the chapter had massive "not actually seen any of them for ten years" vibes, along with some panels showing him with an expression that could be interpreted as being regretful of his current life. This also feed the people that think that he's a crybaby incapable of doing anything unless he gets massive hands out, because to them it showed him still wanting to be an hero but not doing anything on his own towards that objective until he gets gifted an iron man suit. Apparently there are bonus chapters that came out later that fix the issue somewhat, but I never read those.
>>284840418>vibesSo it was people projecting. Got it. Hilariously enough the reason why the memes died was because of all the cuckshit that got spammed and the fact that the people who had the most shit to say never read the manga.
gotta love the decuck self-inserters defending this waste of space, guy that squandered all the gifts in the world, he got the strongest power EVER gifted to him for free and he still managed to somehow waste it, while crying and bitching every fucking season and being onions incarnate that can't even make the girl that clearly loves him happy. I hate the modern crybaby male protagonist so much it's unreal. Thankfully this trope is slowly going away.
>>284839869That match was one of the best parts of the manga. It was nice to see the MC up against a guy with an entertaining personality for a change
