It needs a plot if it wants to survive I think. The MCs being already into each other helps, but I don't think it's enough

I kind of like how he's immediately on board with any crazy plan the girl comes up with
that's somewhat refreshing after all the protagonists whose first instinct is opposing the fun

unfortunately the flip side of having the duo cooperate so easily is it removes any interesting conflict between them
and the manga doesn't really do much with the premise
it needs something more
although I don't know if introducing magic control bureau (?) is the development it needed

Urban legend files has a similar premise but it has a more comedy
