The only think Okarun really has going against him at the moment is he's short, which doesn't really matter as much as some guys think it does. He's about the same height as her, and with all his exercise will probably grow to be a bit taller than her anyway. Okarun isn't physically unattractive, he's drawn with a pleasant looking face with normal, symmetrical proportions. His haircut sucked in episode 1, but that was quickly fixed. And glasses aren't really unattractive anymore culturally. Plenty of girls even actively like a guy with glasses.Personality wise, Okarun is more hit and miss because he's an autist who likes to sperg out about aliens. Momo however after being abducted is actually interested in aliens now, so likes listening to Okarun talk about it. People might not realize it, but if a girl actually likes listening to you ramble about an interest, it makes you more attractive to her because it makes you seem passionate. A girl who isn't into aliens would probably find it off putting, but Momo isn't that girl. Even after losing her memory she showed interest in learning more about aliens when they were revealed to be real to her.
