I bet you thought the scanlation for this was dead.Well you were WRONG. Looking at the archive, the dumps stopped at ch44. Around September 45 and 46 were released. And a couple of days ago we got 47.So today I will dump 45-47.NEVER GIVE UP
chapter 45
I have to resize the pages, apologies for that.the full resolution is available on cubari.
chapter 45 endloitering around the school and crying like that, he was lucky nobody called the policegonna take a quick break, won't take long
I don't read this manga but this was a very good chapter to read.
chapter 46>>284859517it's a great manga, highly recommended.
...for real!?
Nikaidou...
chapter endThe same Nikaidou as always...
chapter 47
little demon looks more like Kaiji due to the nose
dude wtf
good to see he feels guilty about doing this, even if he has to imagine a little demon teasing him about it, it's a step in the right direction
chapter endonce again, Nikaidou faces impossible odds to reach his dreamwill he crack under pressure and "cheat"? or will his pride and sense of morals prevail?
Credit to FKMTKrazy.Portalninja teased the possibility that we get a new chapter around new years. But even if we don't, this series isn't dead! Rejoice! Never give up!
>>284859969I guess he will cheat so a different kind of golf hell starts already.Fairy tale bullshit will start coming once he abuses the power.
>>284860006It is bound to happen, I agreeMaybe not this time, but over time the continuing failures will get him to a breaking point
>>284859981Thanks OP. I was worried I'd have to go through New Years without any existential dread.
>>284860435You ready for a real gut punch?february 2026 marks the 30th anniversary of Kaijilets get our hopes up so we can despair!
>>284859713God fucking dammit. I got sucked into his momentum as well, I thought everything was going to be okay for once. Fat fucking chance.
We're back in hell, babyThanks for the dump OP. Glad to see both the story and the scanlations are still alive.
Thanks, OP.
>>284859435I was that kid and it was nothing like this
>>284860612Nikaidou's situation and the kid's aren't comparableall the kid has to do is finish the raceit's a matter of squeezing out enough staminawhat's important is being able to say he didn't give upNikaidou's test is a contest of skill, with significant elements of variance and luckeven if he doesn't give up, that is no guarantee of successa more analogous situation would be if Nikaidou aimed to finish the test without losing positive spirit, regardless of final score
>>284859480Kino...
>>284859625sometimes I get the impression that the characters worry about ultimately inconsequential detailsthe old dude agonizes over whether this particular mindset is the best for Nikaidouas if getting this one thing right is the most important deciding factorwhen in truth, there are countless paths towards victoryI suppose that's the mindset of a losernothing you've done has ever worked, so you don't know what's important for success and what isn'tyou don't have the luxury of not worrying about superfluous aspects, because you don't know what's superfluous in the first place
>>284860006His reset will become stronger, increasing the amount of time he winds back, until it can reset him to his youth before he wasted his whole life playing golf
>>284865040Only to redo everything all again. And the little shadow dude is the previous incarnation of Nikaidou of the previous reset. The man is simply cursed.
>>284859903Feels like all the stuff he did as a kid is stuff most kids did, I'd imagine.
>>284859304Oh wait. I remember this one.
>>284859558That's being EXTREMELY genreous.
>>284859582Little fella is confused. It's cute.
>>284859684>He's starting to relaxOh no!
The devil has a point. Imaginary pride isn't worth it.
>>284859751Nyo...
>>284859801Demon should fight with the little dude.
>>284859878>Dude been making his mom sad since childhoodMy hero...
>>284859918>TFW I was the villain-loving kid.
>>284859981Thx mate.Glad to at least see one FKMT series keeps on getting translations.
>>284867731Garou….
I think we need to kill Nikkaidou.
Where are these even getting uploaded to? The FKMTKrazy Discord? It's either been wiped off or out of date on the places I have set up to pull new chapters from
>>284869789yeah the discord
>>284869789idk if they switched discords at some point but the one I'm in posted the update in the announcement channelThey're using Cubari now for the uploadshttps://cubari.moe/read/gist/cmF3L1llYXJaZXJvLXVwbG9hZGVyL1llYXJaZXJvL21haW4vTmlrYWlkb3VVcGxvYWRzLmpzb24/
>>284870004Perfect, I can add that to my library. Thanks bub
>>284859981Thanks OP. I was going to dump these chapters once Chapter 48 dropped so that we could have all of the available chapters at once (assuming 48 drops on New Years) but this works too. Good set of chapters, I found myself enjoying 45 the most in this set; solid chapter to end before he started the PGA tests to start the dilemma between using his second chance and completing the tests honestly. Granted, he's already buckling to the thought of using his second chance after the first day because it's so tempting in his precarious position, but it's still an interesting conflict for Nikaidou to work through; not sure how he'll turn out in either case though, that's also interesting to think about. I suppose I could dump the Kengan Omega-Kaiji special with Chapter 48 if I decide to dump the lone chapter the day of release to make up for it being a single chapter dump.
>>284867731Nakao...
>>284870338yeah, I was very happy to see a new chapter and wanted to spread the good word, couldn't help myselfthat's a good idea
Why are all gold manga depressing or horny
>>284867731Ruby...>>284867359Imaginary pride really gets to your head if you are currently losing/a loser, it's so tempting to chase after a moral victory when the prospect of an actual victory starts to slip out of your grasp. It's Nikaidou we're talking about, so it's really bad for him considering he has already spent the past few days self-aggrandizing that he wouldn't use his powers for the sake of his colleagues without even considering their actual position on the matter.
>>284870004>They're using Cubari now for the uploadscubari is just a proxy, it doesn't host anythingthe actual images are uploaded to imgchest
>>284867359>>284870554>Imaginary pridecan you tell me more about imaginary pride?I'm unfamiliar with the conceptis it just having a personal code but not sharing it with anyone? how is that different from regular pride?
>>284870677I think the first anon was referring to the idea of pride that's based on intangible accomplishments/traits that nobody but yourself has validated, but when I think about that, it doesn't feel much different to normal pride, so I'm not sure why I decided to write imaginary pride either. In any case, Nikaidou is trying to get a moral victory that only himself will actually know or care about.
>>284870808>a moral victory that only himself will actually know or care aboutthat's how it usually goes with moral victoriesI struggle to see why that's a bad thing
Even if he does decide to use the ability, will he actually be able to pass the test? He could easily fall into an endless loop
>>284871015For me at least, his moral victory hinges upon actually doing well in the PGA tests. Granted, there's the possibility of him making it without using his powers, but given that he qualified on the slimmest of margins because he used his powers, I have serious doubts that he won't relapse if necessary. In any case, I don't think it changes much whether he actually uses his powers or not, since making it past the PGA tests has the same effect to his colleagues; he will have given hope to his colleagues as long as he wins. I know it's a silly idea, but I wonder how Nikaidou's position would change if he told his colleagues about his power, and that his colleagues actually believed him and gave them their thoughts instead of dismissing him.
>>284870677Another term for it is secret rules. You make up conditions that make achieving your goal more difficult, to the benefit of nobody. Nobody would give a shit if Nikaido used his powers to win. It's an entirely fake problem.
>>284871450it's such an interesting internal conflict. he already acknowledged that even if he does continue to fail, the act of preserving and trying again still gives them hope all the same. there truly is no way to lose for that aspect of his motivation, so it's just a bit of a lie that he tells himself so he can keep grasping at the idea he can do it on his own. it's an excuse. which is also why it didn't take long for doubts to set in either.
I think his reason for not wanting to use the ability is fair. Even if you don't think it's cheating, Nikaidou clearly does deep down, and I don't think he'll be happy in the long term with that type of victory. He'll just agonize over whether he deserves it or not.
>>284871610>It's an entirely fake problemI disagree with thatI do think using his powers is cheatingjust because nobody is wise to it doesn't change that>>284871450>he will have given hope to his colleagues as long as he winsand I don't think the ends justify the meanssaying "I do it to motivate the others" doesn't excuse the actthere are countless examples of real life sportsmen justifying their cheating with something similar, and it never rings truethe achievement has to be authentic to count
>>284872139true. I also think he might try to use the ability to undo a "win" he got by cheating, once the initial high wears off and reality sets in.
>>284872267Right, just like how using references for drawing is cheating. It's clear the choice is between using all his available tools, or staying an eternal loser. Nikaido says he's fine with the latter, but it's clearly not true. He's miserable.
>>284873032>just like how using references for drawing is cheatingthat's... not even close to Nikaidou's situation>He's miserable.truebut the solution is not becoming a winnerfor one, you obviously can't always be the winnerso the healthy thing to do is to find peace even if he failstrying to emulate the marathon kid's mindset was the closest Nikaidou was to getting free of the curse
Nikaidou doesn't even use savestates in emulators, he's too hardcore. but he does know the DQ resurrection spell by heart
>>284873266But the marathon kid got a participation prize, which Nikaido fulfilled many times over. Nikaido doesn't want to participate, he wants to win. That's the problem. He's incorrectly romanticizing a situation which does not apply to him.
>>284873481aye, that's trueNikaidou has two problemsone, he's laser-focused on winning instead of just experiencing the play, like the marathon kid didtwo, he's laser-focused on golf instead of experiencing a full life, to the point his golf suffers for ithis mental diet has zero balance or variety
>>284873713he should've banged Kasumi. that was his biggest mistake. he would've passed the test easily after that
>>284873765Yes, but he made up another secret rule preventing him from doing so. Nikaido can't help but make himself miserable.
>>284860644>storyDoing very well, regular chapter releases.>scanlationsVery very behind. I think the raws are in the mid-100s right now.
>>284859903>the moment before he became a top goon
>>284875362Why are the scanlators so slow?
>>284878120they've always been slow. but always high quality too. I imagine the typesetting and the redraws take forever.
