The main points I see are that it has good character writing/drama and no annoying tropes. But having no tropes isn't automatically a positive and I don't see how these characters are well written. There is no substance, no realism in their interactions and dialog, half of it consists of apologies. They are all literal angels, way too considerate and kind, especially for teenagers. I can understand one character being like that, but all of them?Even if you ignore all of this, what exactly makes the romance in particular so good? Half of the show is drama with side characters, no romance whatsoever. For the other half, whenever the main characters interact, they act very similarly, always extremely considerate and reserved to each other. There is no intimacy, nobody trying to get closer/advance the relationship in a physical way. The premise of the show is "opposites attract" but they couldn't be more similar personality-wise.So you're left with a romance that has neither realistic characters/interactions nor an interesting dynamic.
I never made past 3 chapters but "tall guy who's actually a softie on the inside" is such a ridiculous female fantasy. It lacks self-awareness. Also that white haired girl has a good design but apparently she's a male hater so pretty pathetic writing. This isn't what good romance is like

The series is stuck at an awkward place between shoujo and shounen romance. The leads are attracted to each other but there's still no physicality for absolutely no reason when in any shoujo romance they would've fucked at this rate. MC has his own team of male friends, but they are obviously written by a woman, no bunch of dudes their age acts this way. The amount of repetitive samey apologies is fucking ridiculous.
