They appear, create a one-off phenomenon, and soon enough just fade away, because their primary target audience is trend-chasers who just go after whatever is the new trend next, abandoning whatever they had until now like a sack of potato. Also ~50k for a full 7-days first week sale is actually mediocre, so showing it be in #1 for a week where simply no actual heavy hitters released only makes you look like a retard.
