It's just that all the "me"s in these threads associate the problems with Omega with the lines that Sandro uses (and re-uses) for those moments. We've had compliment hexes since the first chapter, and now knives being useless in 28, and there will be more Sandroisms to come in the tournament, but it's the experience of reading Omega that would most likely cause us reading along to have a negative reaction. I have a feeling the new readers in this daily would just be confused or mildly disappointed at events that would have Omega readers losing their minds because it reminds them that they've seen moments just like these but executed worse in a chapter released years after Ashura. I don't know what changed, whether it was the editor losing/gaining influence, Sandro checking out, the decision not to focus the story around 1 tournament + revenge, or what, but Omega is a story thats imo worse than Ashura, but is still being executed with the same quotes, subversions, and hexes as Ashura.So I do believe that Ashura is that good, but it can seem worse to those who've read and disliked Omega since Omega has some similarities in execution.
