Since that wasn't the case I'm probably just going to tune up my own subs fixing a couple glaring issues with MTL.

I know it’s kind of a moot endeavor to compare this book to older ones from nearly a decade ago, but does anyone else feel like it wasn’t organized nicely? Art of PSG had dedicated sections focused on character design exploration, ghosts, and environments for example and was pretty ample with the amount of art it had- but besides the new character designs section here, it just goes episode by episode under "Design" afterwards. It doesn’t seem to include much of the gritty work and explorations of even minor characters for example seem absent. Maybe I'm just a greedy autist because if I was working on a series like this I'd want to share as much of the work done on it as possible.

NPSG artbooks showed up a day late but were in good condition, even if Neokyo skimped on the packaging.The staff illustration book is great, plenty of good Scantys in there but it is a shame that GSB doesn't have any dedicated pieces. The genga book is kind of disappointing however. It has less then half as many pages compared to the season 1 Animation Art Works that I got yesterday, and there were a lot of scenes I liked that didn't have genga in the book. I imagine there just were no keyframes drawn for a lot of NPSG compared to the original and a lot of scenes were just done entirely digitally throughout. It's either that or Trigger just skimped on the production of the book, it's a lot smaller than the s1 book as well which means a lot of the genga are sized really small in order to fit the way they're arranged on the pages. S1's book also had much thinner pages as well, seems like actual paper print you can see through instead of the laminated/thick pages on the s2 book.
