So apparently this is a manga adaption of an anime, but the anime itself doesn't come out until the 15th, maybe it's already out in japan though i'm not totally clear and can't be bothered to look closer.also this looks very shoujo if not slightly pushing towards boderline josei with the historical setting so no idea what it's doing on a platform called shonen jump+.Actually looking at the mangaplus comments somebody says it's also on Manga Mee where it belongs, so I think this is a case of casting a wide net on it because netflix wants to push it hard, reminds me of something similar they've done before, they maintain an anime channel youtube which plays pretty loose with the definition of anime but everything was at least trying to pretend, but then one day they uploaded something that was trying so little to pretend the main selling point was a star studded american castI eventually figured out it was because they were really putting a big marketing push in general into that movie and so they were just throwing it out everywhere, the short term boost from eyes on it was worth more than any consumer bitterness about it showing up where it didn't belongand then it flopped lmao, can't even remember what it was called, the parents got divorced at the end is all I recall
