The thing that made me like the mild noble's vacation is that it goes through the motions of a typical isekai, but it slows down the pacing of the events and expands on them with added dialogue to make it more slice of life like. 70% of the first episode was the MC kinda just exploring and expanding the setting even if it was a typical setting I enjoyed it and with the last few minutes entering the guild registration event. I kinda now see why the author is adamant in saying its not BL when its gay as fuck because the focus is an isekai plot except with boys.
