I rewatched the anime recently and I don't get the filler hate, I prefer the manga overrall but the filler were fun and a good change of pace, I was happy to get more story with them. The "Akane in the hospital" one was especially great

I watched the movie from OP recently and it felt rushed af. Seeing the girls in skimpy outfit and swimsuits and with large boobs was great but everything else felt weird and Ranma beats the guy by closinf his eyes. First movie had better action for sure

Particularly Kuno in the old anime; it's like they really increased the volume of his hair compared to the manga to make that his defining visual trait (feels like in the manga Rumiko almost focuses more on his eye shape at times? Like he has the "evil" eye design)But like I was getting at, it's like the traits that don't work for me as much with male Ranma work better for me in his female form. Like I'm not super into his hair as a guy, but as a girl the pigtail adds a more playful/sporty vibe that feels more unique visually for a female character
