I've never laughed with anime. Well, maybe with very specific scenes. I love anime and it can make me feel happy and get me to smile. I find it hard, however, to laugh at their humor. Maybe I just don't connect with japanese humor that much.

The first season of konosuba and the first season of haganai both had their moments. Actually in recent stuff 100 girlfriends has a few funny scenes. Most of the time anime isn't funny but every now and then something funny drops.

They have the same sense of humor as the spergy annoying naruto-running kids I went to high school with, very tryhard/forced with no sense of comedic timing. Yotsuba unironically is the funniest thing I have ever read from manga or anime because Kiyohiko is actually good at comedic timing.
