>>285198508What do you need to track them for?
>>285198508boku no pico
>>285198508MAL for Anime.AniList + MangaUpdates for manga.LearnNatively and Goodreads for LNs.I don't keep track of WNs since I'm not that retarded.>>285198986Because if you keep watching anime, you probably won't remember that seasonal piece of shit you watched 19 years ago.
>>285198508bookmark the animu with my browser
>>285198508I simply forget things
mal with taiga for anime
>>285198508I have one of those diaries with a built in lock
>>285198508dont track and just live the moment
anidb for anime.Haven't found any database remotely usable for manga so I just track the volumes I bought.
>>285198508Anidb for anime and mangaupdates for manga is the only way to go.
>>285199326>Because if you keep watching anime, you probably won't remember that seasonal piece of shit you watched 19 years ago.why would you want to watch a 19 year old seasonal piece of shit? Why did you watch it in the first place? If you enjoyed it, why not watch it again?
>>285200080Mangaupdates is lacking too many titles, even those that have several volumes out, and the information it stores isn't enough.
>>285200152It's still the most comprehensive manga database
>>285198986Because the media I consume is my whole personality, and its really hard to remember every single thing you watch and what your personality says about that, so I need keep it in a list form, which is also easily sharable with others, since its the best way to show society what my personality is.
I used to use MAL before it went down for like two months because the people running it are incompetent. Now I just use Anilist, with most of my anime-watching getting automatically updated.
>>285200183Wikipedia is better.
>>285200660lolno
>>285200665If I want to see the current lineup for a magazine, Wikipedia has me covered while MU has nothing.
>>285198508I don't. If it's good and I feel like I'll want to rewatch it or reread it down the line, I'll remember it. If it's not, I'll just forget about it.
>>285199326You don't have the capability to look at the name of something and recall with a second or two if you have seen it or not.
>>285198508I have a MAL, an Anilist, a Kitsu, an Anime Planet, and an AniDB account. It's not to track them but to spread my opinions everywhere.
>>285198508>mal sucks ass>getting olderThe more older I got, the more MAL looks good, because it's really easy to read, with old school design
>>285199326then why bothering remembering it?
>>285198508I just use malAnidb probably has a more comprehensive database but fuck it.I've been using mal for over a decade. It's sufficient for my needs.I'm not gonna switch now.I just wish they'd keep track of when you complete a show.I know you can fill that in manually but it's too much of a bother.
>>285198508anilist is good enough for me
>>285198986Not OP but I'm an autist and I think it's fun to catalogue things, tracking them is a way to do it since you can add your own score and notes
>>285198508MAL exclusively through taiga
>>285198508just make your own website, neocities lets me host this shit for free
>>285198986If I just keep anilist open, it'll tell me when my seasonals air and how long I have to wait for the next episode
