>>285225400For a start, these aren't even the same scene.The left is an anime original scene inserted during the very beginning of the Yorkshin arc, the right is an adapted scene from the Greed Island arc (which the 1999 anime also has and it's, ironically, a far less visually interesting scene than in 2011). But additionally, this scene in the original anime is the one okayish looking scene sandwiched between dozens of awful cuts if not outright ugly looking episodes that make up the original 1999 TV anime.
