What is this? I assume AI made animation?
>>
I don't get the american slop companies' obsession with anime specifically. Why not cartoons? It's a medium closer to the country they're located in

Also I don't really get why stuff like this gets made. No company will be using this as they'll probably either use a Japanese-made solution or have their own one like Cygames
>>
>>285226469
Doesn't matter if it's 1000x easier than real animation. Remember that the first 3D games looked way worse than 2D games but they still took off
>>
>>285226704
Western ruined their own cartoons

There's just a thrill in destroying foreign culture with your high-tech and proving all their effort is in vain. It was the same with alpha-go
>>
>>285226788
It really might be that. Assuming burgers are jealous of how big of a cultural powerhouse Japan is and are essentially trying to trample on it, despite Japan being their vassal more or less

You don't even know what that means. The dot-com bubble burst but the internet only got bigger. AI is here to stay, no matter how much of the economy bites the dust in the process

There's still the big FOMO, and now that the US economy basically put a bet on AI being the future, the fear of crashing hard.
>>
>>285227624

Everyone else is drinking the coolaid, mass media is pushing this shit HARD around the world

Not even /g gives a shit about this "update". Like, it's that bad. They have to make a bait post on /a just to get people to even slightly engage with it. Its only future is a better version of google which isnt bad at all desu but they keep pushing that its going to revolutiolize the world. The ai crash and correction can't come soon enough.

The AI tech is here to stay but all the AI-focused companies leading the charge now will eventually die out. All companies worth their salt will simply create their own AI software to not get reliant on price-gouging American ones and smaller companies will eventually give up on the idea once the companies start jacking up prices so they can finally start earning more than they're spending (it's 100% going to happen). Currently AI startups, as is the case with 95% of American tech startups, exist only to get money from gullible investors
>>
>>285228149
You guys know what's ironic? I used an ai spell check since that's all that google would recommmend. And it corrected "desu" into "desu". This is why this shit will never be useful.

>>
>>285226704
anime won the culture war after america gave its media to leftists and started producing unwatchable garbage
old stuff like old Disney movies, Tom & Jerry etc. is still popular all over the world to this day but stuff like that is no longer produced because considered too "nazi"

No idea, jews? Why are you vagueposting?
>>
>>285237750
They should try out a board where you sign up to an account but post anonymously, and not the one for the pass since you have to pay for that. That's the only way now for a forum to work without bots.
>>
>>285238724
They did that on /biz/ some time ago and it killed the board and nothing else, everything was the same but with less people
>>
>>285237417
They aren't suppressing Green Energy precisely because they know that it can never replace oil

They also invest outright on Green energy because it grants them good PR when, in reality, their goal was to assert control and ensure that it remains weak enough to make oil highly profitable
>>
>>285238891
>They did that on /biz/ some time ago and it killed the board and nothing else
basically wasn't that because /biz/ was full of crypto scammers?
>>
>>285238891
When was that? Do you have information on how it worked?
>>
>>285238958
But they're still losing profits significantly by doing that than if they just shut it all down, what you're saying barely makes any sense
>>
>>285239034
It wasn't exactly an account, they just enforced the email verification thing without the option to wait
>>
>>285239143
Yeah that wouldn't work. If you want a forum without bots you'd have to ask each user for legal identification. Of course that would be extremely unpopular with everyone here.
>>
>>285227746
>English-speaking
And white
>>
>>285239082
Losing profit is preferable to losing business
Green Energy is incapable of replacing oil. As such, no matter how much it improves, oil as a business, will remain completely unthreatened

Same reason as to why Google is funding Firefox. Firefox's existence allows Google to prevent getting sued for monopoly
>>
>>285239082
Everything makes sense once you realize that the people's opinion does have power

The goal here is to prevent the people from rallying against them
They would gladly ban Green Energy, *if they could
>>
>>285238958
True that. Like fossils allowed Green Energy to be developed in Germany because they had politicians suppress it a little too much and Green Energy died
>>
>>285226759
>/v/tard compares the ability to move in three dimensions to AI shit

>>
>>285239671
Green Energy died because people got fed up with how it failed at everything it promised

Every single time a country invests on Green energy, it only leads to the electric price going up and up
>>
>>285226442
>midjourney
Failure, AI is an utter waste of time and this garbage can't even generate the same scene across multiple frames. Its impractical, resource-hungry, and only serve to cheapen a medium that already struggles with cheap labor exploitation.
>>
>>285239441
If they're able to sabotage one thing why can't they sabotage green energy?
>>
>>285228257
nah, any AI currently affordable is garbage aside from assistant work
they want to be able to push a few buttons and have a product come out
which costs a ton of money to build
>>
>>285239851
Because they can't
The political support for tackling Global Warming is far too high
>>
>>285239890
Some losers on board here have generated high quality gifs about seven episodes long through ai, that look slightly convincing as actually coming from the show they're supposed to be. How much do you suggest that cost them?
>>
>>285239901
Then how come they're able to shut down another from of eco friendly energy?
>>
>>285228257
Buddy, once the AI companies burst out, every pAIjeet would end up resorting back to Dall-e

Entire scam businesses would collapse overnight
I cannot wait.
>>
>>285239949
Technically, they didn't
Soviets did.

They merely mongered the fear that Soviet's incompetence has brought
>>
>>285239933
It's still at the level of uncanny valley
and you still need to splice together a bunch of short scenes because it gets exponentially harder for AI to track details the longer a scene is
>>
>>285239933
>seven episodes
meant seven seconds
