Can anime be overly detailed, shiny,digital and bright that it becomes soulless because it lacks any roughness, raw drawings or the sense of human touch it starts to look like perfect AI art and the like? I always things like Violet Evergarden and Makoto Shinkai films always kind of had that feel where it feels like they try so hard to be pretty that there's no sense of humanity behind it.
