In his blueballing relationship manga, they get together by the end, but it's incredibly boring and unsatisfying, and not worth the slog.The same goes for his other work, like the ninja thing, where nothing really happens. The meeting of the girls and the guys could have made for a very interesting conclusion, or even a running plot point before the conclusion, but again, it was just incredibly unsatisfying.If he just rewarded the reader every once in a while, and didn't act like an emotionally stunted autist, everything he writes would be that much better.

It's also why he has so many series and they're relatively short, when he gets bored of the idea he wraps it up then writes something new.This is like complaining about the lack of progression in a Kirara manga. It's not the point.Takagi is the only one I felt overstayed, but it still didn't go on for that long anyway and the sequel manga started well before the main one ended, so you could just read that to see family stuff. Although the sequel has its own issues with how much of a faggot Nishikata is despite impregnating Takagi when she was probably like 18.
