I guess that's the designated Trigun thread then.Here's something I wondered about. Classic Trigun worked through slow burn. You get bunch of goofy shit early, through which you slowly get to know the characters and universe. Then the darker side of story keeps growing till the final conflict. I feel like Helck had similar construction. All that said, first season of neu-trigun just doesn't work in the same manner. The goofy shit just clashes really hard and fast with anything more serious that they tried to do. I've been wondering if anyone else had similar feelings about it.in the end. I'll still enjoy second season. I'm just glad that the best girl made it in.
