When does this air? Still says January 2026
The movie secondaries are going to be pissed about this, about time mangachads got their real adaptation
>>285242398The late night block where it is going to air just started 7 days ago, so far they're airing "Tune In to the Midnight Heart" and "Marriagetoxin" once those end their run they're going to air "Super Psychic Policeman Chojo" and the new Ghost In the Shell
>>285242413It sure would be nice if they released a uncensored English translation of the manga that sold each volume separately rather than forcing you to buy a expensive collector's box with every volume if you want it uncensored, that's a dick move IMO
>>285242413It's not gonna be a full on adaptation. It'll be the most similar in tone and characterization of Motoko to the manga but it's probably gonna be just like the movies and SAC where they take story beats from the manga and do their own thing with them. They wouldn't get Toh EnJoe in as the writer for this is it was a straight adaptation.
>>285242537>Toh EnJoePicked the fuckity wuck up.
Whenever it airs, it airsI just want it to be good
>>285242486Fuji TV's really tripling down on animu, huh
>>285243444It physically can't be any worse than Arise
>>285243320>>285242537>Toh EnJoeWhat should I read from him?
>>285243527His grad and PhD theses, both in Japanese.Perhaps Godzilla S:P could serve as a lay introduction for the less educated. It literally predicted ChatGPT and the resulting horrors that are about to befall us.
>>285244522Is he like Haruki Murakami but more sci-fi?
>>285242486>"Tune In to the Midnight Heart" and "Marriagetoxin"What day do these end?
>>285242413I look forward to watching SACfags cry. I feel like Movie guys are probably old enough to know what's what.
>>285242523This is what piracy is for If they refuse to make it at an affordable price despite it being no different to them from their cheaper publications, then it is not wrong to not buy it from them
>>285244522What did he study? Was it from a prestigious university? When smart people decide to write for TV instead of discovering subatomic particles or doing stem cell research, you get stuff like Futurama (which had in their writer's room 3 PhD holders, 7 people with Masters degrees and 50 cummulative years at Harvard)
