I'm >>285239465, just finished the main series, it was great.

My only real critique is how convoluted the Incubators plans are, there probably is a simpler way of gathering all that female emotional energy than transforming them. Still, it's a minor gripe and doesn't ruin anything.

I'm sad that no matter the timeline, my favorite girl always fall into despair, it's so unfair, bros...

bear in mind that the incubators aren't actually sapient. they are just glorified LLM chatbots given a directive and left to their own devices so long as they keep meeting their quotas. it's kinda like how bots instructed to model the evolution of walking kept 'cheating' and just making creatures that were super tall and immediately fell forward, sating the base parameters of "cover as much distance as fast as possible"

In my opinion you should wait awhile to watch Rebellion since it's very different from the series in themes and even storytelling-wise. That said I think it's a very good movie if you understand what it's trying to do (this will probably take more than one watch).
