Maybe it's all those monks reminding me of Miroku...i think it's less that it's that they remind you of miroku, and more that monks/priests/exorcists trying to defeat a demon that's out of their league is a plot that happened in inuyasha beforei recall that one old woman who was completely spiritually dense and couldn't sense a demon/ghost even if it was right in front of her lol
